You won’t be disappointed! I owned 4 Yamahas before I switched over to Kawasaki. The Kawasaki quality cannot be matched, and the ride of the machine is like no other. There’s nothing like the whine of the Eaton TVS supercharger!

I think the Yamaha combo of Nano Excel and automotive paint is a joke. My old school 90s Yamahas could take a beating and be easily buffed or wet sanded. The newer Yamahas have taken a massive nosedive in quality and scratch if you sneeze on them!

Agree 100% would have loved to see that. Maybe they will release and updated factory video for the 2022 310. The footage in this video is older, from the 300, although the process is largely identical for the 310.

Jd I have 2022 ultra lx on order here in Denver . I didn’t feel I needed all that power . Seeing all the benefits and features of the 2022 310 I am thinking of switching. I really don’t want to go that fast however it appears the 310 is incredible. Could you give your opinion

@John L, The Ultra LX 160 is great in the chop and is built like a tank- it’s actually the reason I sold my Yamahas and went full Kawasaki. It tops out at around 57 stock, and does not have trim or electronic reverse. It’s old school- but that’s a major benefit of the ski. It does not have a lot of plastic- and the plastic it does have is really thick and heavy. The new Ultra LX 160 requires a lot less maintenance than the 310 and gets better fuel economy. My only gripe with the Ultra LX is that it isn’t fast enough for me. The 310 has a much drier ride due to the revised bow cap and splash deflectors for 2022. The Ultra LX 160 has a larger front storage compartment, but the new 310 lx-S or LX has a massive rear deck that accommodates accessories or cargo. If you’re not looking for speed and don’t need the latest tech features, the Ultra LX is a really solid ski, extremely well built, and reliable with few electronics to fail. A lot less maintenance than the 310. The 310 is a rocket ship, so if you don’t want to get from 0-60 in 3 seconds then save your money and get that Ultra LX 160.

I didn’t realize they were made in the USA

The engines come out of Japan, but the final point of assembly for the ski in the US is in Nebraska.

Yes, it is. I mentioned in the description that this was an older video, but the overall production method is pretty much unchanged. I wish they would release a new video with the 2022 310!

Are you saying that because that’s a 300x in the factory video?
