After having watched several reviews of the SP-004 and reviewing it myself, everybody is saying something different. People either say: - it's much faster dynamically than the 3.0 - it's much slower dynamically than the 3.0 - it's really hard to tell a difference After doing a friction coefficient test together with Viscose, here are the results that we have come to with our copies: My results (higher number = more friction): SkyPAD 3.0 --> avg. 0.144 SP-004 --> avg. 0.125 Viscose's result: SP-004 --> avg. 0.154 I have reached out to the team about this, since I'm afraid that this could potentially be an inconsistency issue taking place in the polishing phase of the product. In theory this could also be a reviewer error, since glass pads are not the easiest thing to compare, but there is NO way this many people are tweaking. Until we have an answer to this mystery, I would probably not recommend grabbing one instantly, since you don't know exactly what you're getting in terms of speed. If you are having tracking issues on your Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2, make sure to disable Gaming Surface mode on GHUB or simply set your LOD to LOW or HIGH inside the Onboard Memory Manager. The WALLHACK SP-004 will release 2024/03/01 Wallhack.com/Jakeu
i tried the full skate obsidians and the the pro dots on my superglide and i found the pro dots way better, especially after the red obsidians started to flatten out/wear, they got very scratchy. strangely enough worn in corepad skates were way smoother than red obsidians...
Its probably a mix of reviewer error and skate difference. Im excited to see jerrors review, cause hes the only on that ive seen do actual data based testing.
@@jakeufps we just need a messuered friction coefficient of every pad and then we can clearly see what's going on. or which one is clearly faster and not just based on feel. i sometimes have the feeling the way the arms of certain reviewers stick or don't stick to the pad influences the actual speed perception drastically.
Skypad is a way better name. It sounds better and is recognizable, rather than some dumb "wallhack" what were they thinking?? This rebranding makes no sense at all, literally.
damn I liked the little evil grinning cloud... I remember using some random glorious hard pad that was this fast but it was made of plastic so it wore out super fast I was buying a new one like every 2 weeks, so when I got my sky pad I was a little sad that it was actually slower than the glorious pad, but hopefully this will give me that feeling again.
Nice review, Skypad 4.0 is looking great. The box is really cool, the rubber base is long overdue (even though the rubber feet worked fine for me and others), and I wish I could experience the 4.0's speed (I use a 3.0 w/ tiger ice dots because the speed is so much fun). Maybe one day I'll be running jades on a 4.0 once my need for speed wins out against my better judgement. I just strongly dislike this rebranding. At first I felt kind of dumb having recently gotten a skypad only for a new one to come out but I also think it'd be really corny to have a mousepad that says "wallhack" on it. Skypad as a company liked to be corny enough in an endearing way, this is too much in my opinion. Also would miss having my little smirking cloud dude in the corner of my pad.
Thank you! Yeah, if you want something crazy fast, the 4.0 is definitely for you. I wonder how good one could get with jades on the 4.0, cus' that combo is INSANELY fast.
Honestly, such a weird decision. Yesterday when all the hints started on twitter, i thought "Wallhack" is just a codename like Yume, Sora etc. They spent years to make their name recognizable just to throw it way. Frankly, I'd rather stick to my Water Yume for the time being as it doesn't really seem all that exciting to me to shill another 100€ for a slab of glass. I like the rubber backing and that it supposedly plays better with dust but after going from full size skates to dots that is hardly an issue anymore anyways. I had 2.0 and 3.0, i don't think glass can get that much faster no matter what they do, all they can do is play around with the smoothness to make it marginally slicker but glass in general is already fast enough (some would even call it too fast to make sense).
Crazy how Skypad went from the most recognizable glass pad brand, to being associated with a game cheat. Who thought it was a good idea? Did the shareholders/owners want to tank their own company? lol
Hey bro have you tried the TJ Exclusives Ceramic Control pad? I'm on the fence with that one or the 4.0. I literally own over 20 cloth pads and I don't have anything on that category new to try. Hard pads are what's left lol
Hey! Already tried it, but I wasn't a fan of having to break-in the surface over time in order to use it and was worried about consistency. It's definitely a very controlled hard pad, but if you don't know what to get, check out my glass pad round-up vid that I'm uploading tomorrow!
For control your best option probably is the Cerapad Kin. I've been eyeballing that pad for some time but I don't know whether I should pull the trigger. The reviews are overall positive.
I'll upload a glass pad round-up tomorrow (Cerapad Kin isn't included, though, since it's not a conventional glass pad, and I also am worried about how it holds up over time due to the coating and the break-in period that is needed.)
I dont know if im gonna regret this but i just pulled the trigger on this. Never used a glass mousepad or any other branded mousepads. I use a cheap deskpad from AliExpress so ive never experienced what speed or control actually feels like in terms of comparison. Fingers crossed it'll be worth it. It's expensive but to justify it to myself its like buying another mouse where the old ones just become useless at least with a mouse pad it combines as an overall experience.
It must compare then to the Razer Atlas, that is the smoothest pad I have used to date. But it eats skates like a machine, it's like sand paper for skates. I am excited for this pad. :) Padsmith has a speed pad coming out soon too, that I want to get! Currently have the skypad 3.0 on my desk right now lol
Great review, can’t wait to try out the pad but I am a bit conflicted since the whale is also launching some new glass pads which, in his words, will be game changing.
Men I been trying to order my SP-004 since it released and the order never process to check out I try even with PayPal and Applepay and nothing they keep refunded me the money I feel I never gone get a Skypad 😏👌🏻 Did you have that problem too ?
Only thing im pissed about is that here in canada, its priced 167.. cool I get 10% off from a code right? Down to 150! Great, but oh no whats this? 40$ in shipping? It becomes a goddamn $191 mousepad, yeah no thanks. Unless this shit is made out of unicorn fur I'll pass and stick with the skypad 3.0

Ok, but when will you do an update that specify that the issue is solved and we can grab one?
I'll make sure to at the very least post it on twitter and update this pinned comment.

couldn't agree more😂 even potato pad has a better ring to it than wallhack😂 and why wallhack and not aimbot😂
Its fine all the skypad fanboys buy it out in 10 seconds regardless
@@xythiera7255 i have no doubt about that. i am judt wondering if they'll enjoy it if even jakeu can't control it and says it's too fast.

Do you still recommend people stay away from this pad right now due to the inconsistency with the polishing?
Nicely done Jakeu

this is like the raiden of glass pads

I ask myself the same question... It's a stupid choice for search engine optimization and a cringe name overall.
Maybe they had to change because of lawsuit sometimes u have to change the name bcs of legal issues
oh boy super nervous now... i ordered this mousepad not long ago. but seeing the size of the pad.. what's the size comparison to the Artisan XL?
Have you tested the ghostglide cyclones dots on this?
I don't have any sadly

Hey Jake,
Do you think they will also release the XL version of this mousepad ? I would honestly prefer atleast 480 - 500 mm width.
I can see them doing larger sizes in the future, but I think that's gonna' take a long time.
What would you recommend for someone first getting into a glass pass? Which ones for control, which ones for speed?
For control your best option probably is the Cerapad Kin. I've been eyeballing that pad for some time but I don't know whether I should pull the trigger. The reviews are overall positive.

is pricing going to be more then the skypad or is it going to be around the same price?
Same price as 3.0 XL I assume
same MSRP
Great review, love to see more videos coming from you, it felt sad for a while when you were not posting a while ago
Also I am quite suprised that you did not tried Ghostglides cyclones as these are my most favorite ones for glasspads
sadly never got any! will make sure to check them out before I make another glass pad video for sure
@@jakeufps Aha, makes sense
as a new skypad user im super excited to compare

I have a superglide currently would it be worth getting this pad since I like me some speed
My favorite skates are the ghostglides cyclone dots
is there a tutorial on how you modded that red and black GPX?
Banger Review Jakeu one of the best reviewer as always
Major respect brother
Thank you so much man, appreciate it a lot!
i really want it so bad, cant wait to get one whenever i do :)
Is the SP-004 (Skypad 4.0) faster than a G440?
im still on the 2.0 lol is it really worth it to get anything else?
if u have 2.0 go for 4.0, if you have 3.0 stick with it but at the end of da day its all up to u
iis tthatt a usb hub near tthe mousepad?
hi can you please review artisan shidenkai 2.0 as well? thanks
nvm I think I found your vid for it 😅
awesome! yeah was just about to link it for you

great video mr jakeu
Thank you!
Shocking
goat stuff
its interesting you say this is faster as a direct juxtaposition to fresh saying it felt more controlled
We're currently looking into this, since there seems to be some differences in the surface on our review units.
jakeu why are you using wallhack
GoodLord....Skypad is now run by kids who think "wallhack" sounds so kewl.
