After all these years , your videos are still the best ! 🤣 I’m currently working on mine. Used a Latrax prerunner chassis , some China brushless , post the reared , put some lights and been having a blast. Working on footage of jumps and maybe soon have my own video out there. Thanks for the laughs. 🤙🏻
Thats what it's all about Charles! Sounds like a nice build, making parts fit from random chassis is part of the fun. If you do make videos, please spam this comment section with your links!
I don't believe I'm a 43 year old man watching a video of a toy car! What the heck, I've got a big grin on my face! The dust kicked up as it jumps is just like on the tv series. Big respect to the guys filming, the ground level driving shots are fantastic! I'm a big kid again!
moonhogg Brother I'm right there with ya! LOL! When people ask..."Hey, what kinda hobbies do you have?" ....well, I'm not much for watching sports or drinking, so when I say, "I make videos of r/c cars for youtube," you can practically pinpoint when their inner monologue says, "what a dork!" Then, thankfully for cell phones, I say, here let me show you 30 seconds of one.....and their eyes light up and the laughs let loose. Then they say, almost in shock...."hey, that was actually... really cool." It's all good, different strokes for different folks. I'm glad you liked it moonhogg, great memories!
Old video but love it, picked up the Dukes Of Hazzard box set to re-watch the show, and now been bitten by the bug again like a little kid. I just spent the night dusting off my old racing stadium truck after about 25 years of sitting and have a sweet converted General on the way from Dave The Charger Guy.
I was 8 when 'Dukes of Hazzard' first aired. This reminded me so much of my late mom, as it was always her favorite show. Thank you for a great trip to my childhood. This brought me back to so many great nights watching my favorite show. I absolutely love how the camera angles feel so genuine, as depicted in the show. This is an outstanding tribute to such a fun show, back in the day when real stunts were performed with such dedication and skill. I would love to see more of these.
This cheesy TV show was a big part of my childhood in the 70's. I'd be chompin at the bit all week to watch it. You gentlemen, are Magnificent Bastards
tim nooner Thanks Tim, from one magnificent to another! LOL! I remember waiting each week and then hating the last 5 minutes of the show because it was almost over and I'd have to wait another week.
I am an avid racer of RC cars and have been because of the dukes of Hazzard show. I've always liked jumping cars since I was a little kid 3 years old watching that show. I really enjoy this video thank you
Excellent video, great attention to detail in the driving, environment and camera shots, great nostalgia for all fans of the show. I live in the UK and as a young kid this was the highlight of Saturday evening tv, always remember the opening credits of the General Lee doing awesome jumps and going sideways on dusty trails, not forgetting Daisy in her jeep and Uncle Jesse running to his pick up truck in his dungarees lol
I could almost see Roscoe ducking down in the squad car as the General flew over it..Watched the Dukes every Friday night as a kid...Lmao over here...This is Gr8...Very well done...
I’ve been watching this video and your others for years now…. Absolute gems!!! I’ve got my own RC General Lee now but I don’t have the guts to jump it like that…. I need to build a stunt car….
Very well done. Brings back great memories of watching the show with my Dad while my Mom groused about how it disrespected the police and authority figures... That show also started my love of vintage Mopar cars, especially Chargers and 'Cudas! Thanks to you for building such a great replica and to all your friends who helped out with the camera work on this video!
Awesome video! Though your General rides a little low for my taste, he flies beautifully and has great, solid landings! No weird bouncing and doesn't drive as skittish as a lot of these builds do! 👍
answered silly statement you cant fly, and got to watch this fine movie short again. Still mthe best movie in the rc car cateagory. Deserves an RC oscar or emmy. Sound track just awesome too.
Happy New Year. Sorry I still haven’t done jumping videos. But here is a sample of what’s going on. The General is still going strong and is not forgotten. Aiming to get some crazy jumps filmed. But you’re the inspiration 🤙🏻
I'm sitting here watching this awesome video, towards the end I started to leave a comment saying, I would suggest at the end of this video you also play the Hazzard end theme and right as I'm typing BOOOM it comes on, youre right there on my same thought process LOL great job!!
This video is still my favorite video on UA-cam! I've probably contributed at least 1k worth of views out of the over 280k you have hahaha! Much love my friend! YeeeeHaaawww!
I have seen this video a few times and it is still one of the best videos of this car I have seen 👍👍👍👍👍👍I may have already put this message on here but just in case lol....take care my friend
I’m fucking black and I even grew up watching the Dukes!!!! What 9 yr old didn’t love watching a badass orange car sliding around and jumping in car chases!!! Lol love that shit!!
Dee Ray Your right Dee Ray, I spent more time with editing than driving, lol! I enjoy the editing part though, it's fun but devours time like a black hole....
Just WOW! And thanks for putting up the specs to the build my little girl going to love driving her..... Cause I'm going to build her one she love this video!

The soft suspension is what makes it x100 more realistic! Great video!
Put a huge smile on my face. This was my favorite show as a kid. Thanks!
Me to.
Same
Im 17 and the general is my dream Car
No matter how down I feel, this instantly makes me smile

The drifts, the jumps, the camera angles 😍 Just fantastic, thank you!

Man the BODY ROLL looks fantastic. This is the first RC I've seen which moves like the car it was based on. Good job.
That has to be one of the best lookin' RC General Lee's ever Made! And it jumps great too!
#TheDukesDidNothingWrong #JustThemGoodOlBoys
One of the best things I've ever seen
Thanks Armondo!

I will never forget growing up in TX and seeing the General Lee at the State Fair, and I think other places too!
This cheesy TV show was a big part of my childhood in the 70's. I'd be chompin at the bit all week to watch it.

tim nooner Thanks Tim, from one magnificent to another! LOL! I remember waiting each week and then hating the last 5 minutes of the show because it was almost over and I'd have to wait another week.
Always makes me smile to rewatch this. The 1:10 jump is more realistic than any they did in the series with miniatures!
I can not hep but smile when I see your General lee. Now I need one.
I am an avid racer of RC cars and have been because of the dukes of Hazzard show. I've always liked jumping cars since I was a little kid 3 years old watching that show. I really enjoy this video thank you
this made my day.
That is too cool! Great set up on the car and a great video! The low angles giving a forced perspective make it look like the
real thing!
This is by far, the best General Lee RC car video on UA-cam...Nice job!
need to buy you a ''get well soon'' card cuz that was siiiiiickkkk!!!! well done bravo!! greatest show ever PERIOD!!!!

Just like the introduction.

JimFlyGuy Thanks Jim! Seems ol' Mom got it bakcwarsd, lol!

Totally awesome! looks so real. I think the show actually filmed a few RC car jumps when they didn't have a General to do it.
Well done! A favorite show as a kid.
You made my day. Thanks, keep the Spirit of the General alive.
Love it! Awesome job, my favorite show growing up! Still one of the top five movie/tv cars of all time.
