    • @rossmerchant8435
      @rossmerchant8435 3 роки тому

      I think a big problem with these "dream teams" isn't necessarily that they're good at their jobs, but that they have too much power and sway in their field. We saw this with the Jeffrey Epstein case as well. It's not that his team had a strong argument for Epstein's innocence, it's that they were able to pressure the US government into backing down because of their clout. It's like how Marcia says here that she had valid arguments to preclude certain lines of inquiry or evidence from the defense, but they pressured the judge into ignoring the merit of her arguments

    It's interesting who hated who & who liked who. Like the brown sisters hated marcia but the goldmans adored her. I remember this trial took over everyone I was in 9th grade just started when the verdict was read & I even was like why are so many people outside in lawn chairs did they not have jobs? I saw it bc I luckily had a free period & my school put a tv in the cafeteria. I did not experience racism in my life I'm white but I never watched or saw whites being racist towards blacks that was the first & only time at my all girls school that I experienced racism.
    Ito was seduced by celebrity no question. He was a buffoon. A judge is allowed to keep out whatever he wants. Thats why cameras should have been kept out bc ito obviously read the papers & cared more about the outside than the case inside. Too bad bc for hos 15 min people mostly find he was a clown & he had a good reputation b4 the trial but he got off on the dancing itos on leno & had celebs in his chambers.

    Keep in mind that one juror, a black woman, has now admitted, on video, that she knew (was convinced) OJ was guilty, but she voted to acquit him to get revenge for the Rodney King incident. So race? Yeah. A racist juror. At least one. She was willing to set free a murderer in to society to satisfy her own need for revenge, based on an unrelated case.
    The glove....I always hated how they duped people with that. Like Marcia said, the glove had shrunk. And OJ didn't try to actually put it on. And when he did, they had him put latex gloves on first. Well, the latex rubber will grab and resist it sliding on. And faking a non-fit is easy. I showed my wife. I "tried" putting on a leather winter glove, and made it look like it wouldn't fit. My glove, that always fit. You just spread your fingers out inside, and pull one side of the glove down. Looks like you're trying, but you're causing the glove to get stuck on your fingers and palm because of the angle.
    Try it. Totally easy to fake for theatrics. And then they sold that as "case closed".
