I love the tape one that helps you mat your card
You shouted out Natasha!! 🎉🎉 She is incredible!! And so are you and your products! 😍❤️
Agreed! Her videos are so great. :)
Love Natasha’s no fuss type of card making, and not always showing the latest product releases. She encourages us to use what we have, and always manages to come up with creative techniques. Thanks for your tips Simon 😘
Agreed! She does a great job. :)
Love your tips Simon. I use the skinny adhesive tape all the time. Bending each side back, then positioning, and removing the adhesive back was so cool. Also, the gorgeous glitter on top of layered flowers. Thank you.
🥰Luv Natasha Foote🥰 she's my favorite youtuber to watch. As a new beginner crafting I've learn so much from Natasha. She's super creative and fun to watch. Every once in a while you will see a liltte helper 🥰😁
Definitely check out Jennifer as well!
Thanks Simon! Glad you found it a helpful tip! I like the idea of using a flat foam blender to add glitter gel, just enough without giving a thick layer!
Of course! You have such amazing tips and tricks Natasha. :)
Natasha generally puts a small piece of tape in the middle so that you can stick the card down before you remove the outside tape. I really liked the tip about using the Misti for stenciling. Thanks
Simon, very impressed with Natasha Foote. She is very inventive and encourage us on how to get more use out of the products that we already own. I commend her often, as a means of support and like her posts so they will show up for other people to follow her. I know she likes your inks and promotes them often. It goes without saying, how amazing Jennifer Maguire is, I’ve learned so much from her. Simon, thank you so much for the “hacks”, it’s always good to learn different ways to do things🙂
Yes! She does a great job on her videos and creating. I appreciate her sharing my inks. :)
Love the sentiment strip tip from Jennifer McGuire. And also the tip from Natasha is one, which I actually use on every card I make
Super for the Misti with stencils! I struggled with taping them. You are so gracious to acknowledge others, Simon . Kudos!
Natasha Foote is great! She speaks highly of you and recommends your products. I am so glad to see you found her tape trick very helpful. That was my favorite tip you shared today.
Watch Natasha and Jennifer as well. Young or older, we all can learn from each other. Thanks Simon for reminding us of all the great helps in crafting. Love this series. TFS.
Natasha Foote is amazing! Thanks for sharing her tip.
Natasha Foote is great. She is so innovative. Simon your videos a great too! Thank you for all the helpful tips in this video.
Love the stencil tip in the misti. I agree with everyone else, Natasha is awesome. I like that she encourages using your stash. And she is very talented.
I've used Natasha's layering tip for years - wonderful isn't it?
An extension on the masking/ink blending hint - to make sure they are both lined up perfectly (I have eyesight issues) I rotate my card a little then line up the masking tape with the grid lines of my cutting mat.
I follow Natasha Foote. Have seen many videos of Jennifer. And follow Gina K Designs. These were great tips and very helpful. I also follow you and love your videos and products.
Great tips! So very helpful. You all are so talented and creative.
YES, Natasha is VERY good.
Thank you so much.
LOVE your inks and peel apart
Stamps, and stencils.
I second all of that!
The way you have shown us how to line up card by using little tabs sticking out is so simple but incredibly useful - as ever, Simon, your tips are very useful = thanks so much
Simon ~ would love to see your first, or one of your first videos from when you were younger. I think it would be fun to see you "way back when!!!" Love this video, it's fabulous!!!
Okay, the layering stencil in the Misti tip? THAT is brilliant!
Simon, I think it is so wonderful how you all support each other! It is encouraging to me to see how close you all are. It helps build community! Thank you for these great tips!
The card alignment and sentiment hack will be my most used! I don't know what I'd do without my stamping platform...
Well duh! That hack with the Misti and layering stencils is awesome. I can’t believe I didn’t think of it before 😂. Thanks Simon, great video!
Hahaha yes! The MISTI has so many uses. :)
Love the tips and use all of them. Natasha’s channel is awesome too!
Natasha's tape trick has saved so many card bases! Thanks for resharing it.
Wow. That tip from Jennifer using the colored paper for your trimmer edge is a great idea. Thanks for sharing that one! And the others too.
Hi, Simon! Great to see your smiling face. These hacks are awesome. I had not seen the sentiment strip hack from Jennifer McGuire. I really liked your using the mint tape for water coloring. That is a cool trick that will come in very useful. Yes, Natasha Foote is great and I adore her centering hack, too. Thanks for sharing! 🥰💕
Natasha's tip - truly craft-life changing! Thanks, Simon!
Enjoy all videos with craft hacks. Thank you for acknowledging other crafters.
best hack is the adding the CS to line up the sentiments for cutting! I struggle with this all the time. THANK YOU for sharing this!
The glitter gel looks like a sparkling watermark. Awesome
Yes! I love how it looks when applied with the sponge ink tool. So glittery! :)
Lots of great ideas. The layering stencil tip should come in handy. It never occurred to me that they would all have the same corners. Using a blending foam to apply glitter gel is pretty genius, too.
Love the tip for trimming the comments. I always have a difficult time getting it at the right spot. AWESOME!!
That Misti tool is so worth the cost. You showed us it's not just for stamping, again!
Agreed Caroline! The quality and so many uses for it make the purchase so so worth it. :)
Loved all the tips & tricks. My fav was the one using the Mystie to line up stencils and create the glossy finish. Thanks, Simon!
Good evening, Simon. I ended up doing a little binge shopping on that rainy day collections and inks. Can’t wait til it all gets here. Thank you always for supporting my little company.
Love that misti hack for layering stencils!! They are my new favorite lately and I’ve gotten so many this is the perfect no hassle way to line them up. Thanks Simon!!
I love Jennifer McGuire's tip the best. I never could figure out how to cut my small sentiments on the Tim Holtz cutter. Thanks for sharing.
The sentiment tip was cool, but using the flat foam applicator for the glitter gel was the tip that spoke to me. Now to find some glitter gel to play with. Lol
Simon, you are awesome! Thanks for giving us great hacks and giving others credit for their ideas. This card making community is a great place to be and you are a bright ray of sunshine to me. I love your new ink line and I am slowly getting my stock built up. TFS 💙
Natash’s amazing and often has something she’s doing that is unique. Love your hacks!
Simon, thanks for these great tips. Natasha's tape trick is fantastic. I love Jennifer's tip for cutting a sentiment straight and also love your stencil and glitter tips. Overall a fantastic video. TFS. 👏👌💡💞
Thank you Simon, another great hacks tutorial. Great that you gave a shout out to another of my fave you tube card makers, Natasha. She is the reason I purchased your ink pads, which I love 💘
I have followed Natasha for as long as I've followed you Simon and you both are brilliant. My fav tip was the cutting your sentiment strip using a coloured card guide, inspired! I have been using Natasha's tape trick for months now and it works every time although I do put a bit of tape in the centre of the card too. Thanks for your hints and tips, keep them coming 🤩
I love the hack for sentiment strips. I had not see Jennifer use it up to this point. Glad I know about it now. Thank you so much Simon
I always learn something new from you, but your tip about double sided tape is fantastic!! I use it a lot and I never thought about your advice! Thanks so much!
Yay Natasha, a fellow kiwi, love her channel too! Thanks for the hacks Simon!
GOD BLESS that scoretape tip!!!!!!!!! Holy smokes - I could cry each time I think I'm putting my panel centered and take my fingers away only to see it's slightly off and stuck down permanently!!! LOL Thanks Simon & Natasha!
Thanks, Simon! I found that the last 2 tips were the ones that I could use the most!
I watch Natasha Foote channel all the time. She has some great tips. She also uses mint tape and loves it. Thanks for the tips.
oh the hack about centering the card panel is awesome. I can never get them straight.
All of these hacks are so cool but the sentiment one is great!! 🥰Thank you Simon! 🤗
Using the blender instead of a pallet knife? Game changer for me, since I always seem to have too much on the knife. Just patting it down lightly seems so much better. Thank you!
Agreed! Me too. That’s why I love it so much... I struggle with palette knives sometimes. :)
Loved the centering technique. I make cards regularly so this one is going to help a lot! Thanks, Simon.
I love watching Natasha!
Thank you so much for all the great card making hacks. I have been making cards longer than you have been alive and yet you always teach this old dog new tricks. Hard to pick a favorite because I loved them all but using the score tape technique to center card stock got me very excited because this is a constant struggle. Keep doing what you are doing young man and this old dog will hopefully keep learning.🥰
I appreciated the last hack with the colored paper trick. I hadn't seen that before and it looks like it will be very helpful.
Oh definitely the score tape for lining up your card panels!
I’ve never thought of using a foam blender with the paste. I have tons of the Nuvo pastes but they’re so messy. Yay! I can use them! Thanks, Simon!
Simon, Best Video Ever. I think I first started watching you back in the day for all you HACK vlogs. So, I really enjoyed this one. Loved the flat blender for glitter glitz. Thanx!!!!!
Thank you for sharing your tips. I love Jennifer and Natasha. I like the tip with the duvet in glitter paste. I already use Natasha’s trick. Thanks.
Some wonderful tips Simon. I follow Natasha and Jennifer as well. You’re all amazing.
I have RA and always have issues centering my layers. I have been doing the scor tape method for a while now and it has made a huge difference in my cards. Thank you for sharing these tips.
I like the glitter gel tips. I never thought about using the blender tool.
Thanks Ann! That’s one of my fave tips for incredible control when using glitter gel. :)
Love Natasha! I use that tape trick all the time. The Jennifer tip is a great one also. I always struggle seeing exactly where that’s gonna cut. Your shirt was the same color as the mint tape!.. Sweet! Really like the tip with the glitter gel. Gonna try that one soon! Thanks Simon! 🤗
I enjoyed Natasha's hack, always use it but loving these videos for new hacks and reminders. It's because of Natasha l now buy your products, she uses them so much. Proudly own your ink pads and reinkers, they are amazing!
Thank you for a great video Simon! I love watching cardmaking hacks/tips/tutorials from all of you amazing people😍 Thanks to Natasha's videos I've started making cards ☺
I love Natasha Foote & Jennifer McGuire. I like that Natasha uses minimal supplies & makes amazing cards & Jennifer...well no one is better than Jennifer McGuire! She is the BEST! ;0)
These were all great tips Simon! I am a fan of Natasha also so I knew the tape trick, but the glitter gel and the stencil tricks were new to me! Thank you so much for sharing your hacks! 😎
Kudos to you for your shout out to Natasha Foote's channel. I use that placement hack all the time. She also has another placement hack where you remove the release strips from 2 of the tape pieces that form one of your corners (90 degrees), line-up the other corner (where the 2 tape strips have the release paper still intact) with your cardstock base or other matte, press the tape-exposed areas to adhere them, then pull off the remaining release paper. I find this one works really well, too.
I really like your hack about using the blender pad for applying the glitter gel. My skills with a palette knife are less than impressive. :-)
Tfs Natasha's other tip for lining up layers - I've seen many of her videos, but not that one. Sounds like something to try!
The color paper in the cutter is a great idea
Thanks
Love Natasha and Jennifer, both awesome, and love be hacks videos, thanks ♥️
Agreed! They are both amazing. :)
Thanks Simon! I saw Jennifer do that sentiment strip cut on her video. Brilliant!
I love all the tips you shared today. Natasha Foote is one of my favorite card makers (along with Simon Hurley, of course). Thanks!
So nice that you put several together!!
Great tips. Love Natasha Foote's videos. Also Jennifer McGuire. Have enjoyed watching you since the beginning of your videos. You are amazing. Thanks for this video.
Very helpful. The stencil in the Misti was my fav! TY! 👍🏻🥰
Loved cutting the small sentiment. Thanks
Simon, I love your tip about the round applicator for the Glitz Gel. I struggle with the palette knife so I'm going to give this one a try! Thanks for sharing your hacks......love your videos!
Great video! You make such wonderful cards, Simon! All of your products are incredible! I’m glad you mentioned Natasha. I follow her and find her inspirational, too!
I loved them all, my favorite was the mint tape being waterproof. My tip: go through your Mom's stash of curling irons and flat irons to see if she has those heat proof gloves. Use those when you are hot foiling to prevent burning your hands.
Hi, Simon! Awesome tips! My favorite was all of them. Thanks for sharing!
Hi from the UK! I've been doing the 2nd tip of aligning the paper mat with double sided tape for a very long time - learnt the tip from another crafter years ago. 😊
Love the layering with Misti stamping tool. Love your videos learn so much.
I loved all the techniques, but my favorite was using colored cardstock to help when trimming down sentiment strips.
Excellent tips, Simon! Thank you.
I love all of your good and tricks...Thank you!
I really liked the last one with the colored paper! Thanks Simon and Jennifer
Love the ink blender for glitter gel!
Great lining up tip! Just trying layering stencils for the first time.
I needed all of those helpful tips. Thank you 😊
Thanks for putting them all in one spot to reference
Brilliant, useful tips, thank you. I think my favourite is the last one. 🥰
Awesome! Thanks for the reminders.
These were all great tips! Thanks for sharing.
Great idea, thanks Simon. Ooo glitter gel!
Hi Simon! All these hacks are great! I really like the stencil technique and the shimmer paste! Tfs.
Great video! I’ve always had trouble getting my card fronts to line up evenly on the card base. I think the scor-tape hack will help a lot.
Love the stencil Hack. Thank you!
Simon fabulous tips. Love the sentiment strip hack that one is a winner.
