I still think the weirdest character in the Zelda series by far is the door butler from Wind Waker. I mean, is he a butler, is he a door? What kind of unholy magic does a random school teacher have to own a sentient talking door to her private cabana?
Fun fact, all of the residents of Skyloft are named after birds, with the noted exceptions of Link, Zelda, and Batreaux! And Groose is actually named after two birds in one! The grouse and the goose.

For me the weirdest NPC in OoT is the carpenters reject son. As a kid, he sits under the tree in Kakariko Village and talks about how everyone is disgusting. When you’re an adult, he’s fled off to the Lost Woods. You have to give him a special Cucco or something for the Bigoron trading quest and he says that you must be a good person cause you raised a chicken. Then when you see him again he’s ominously disappeared and one of the Kokiri forest characters have taken his place and talks about how people who wander in the woods too long turn into stalchildren. His NPC model is reused in Majora’s Mask as the chicken loving recluse that just wants to see his chickens grow up before the end of the world. You help him using the bunny hood mask.

In my opinion, Bagu is the most strange character of Zelda 2, much like Error, his name is related to system errors, and not only that, but also, he has a strange relationship with the only city full of villains, and as we know, he is the master of a _monster_ Edit: Oh, so it's a shared opinion, Bagu has so much backstory anyways, I don't think Nintendo will ever reveal it, the game is old, and all of OG Zelda's history is gone now
I must disagree with you on Hyrule Warriors. Cia is obsessed, but the freaky Wizzro is crazy weird. His eye is also a realistic hand and mouth, that can change at will. I understand he's supposed to be a being of pure darkness, but the mouth in particular is super realistic, beyond most of the rest of the game. My sister started playing OoT on the Switch and her 10 and under kids who have only seen/played BotW/TotK wanted to know why the great fairy had such pointy boobs lol
The sign guy just looks like when Kenny from South Park flipped upside down so his butt was out the front of his hoodie
24:55 those are her glasses, not her eyes. Though I guess it does increase the weird factor to imagine them as eyes, but I see glasses
Honestly I'm surprised you went with Beedle for WW and not the man-faced fish. Or the butler who is (somehow) literally a living painting/door...
13:41 they have to be twins. Or something like that. They look alike
Also surprised earthbound was mentioned
At 40:45 I think that the flowerbed is the only thing she has left in her life, so Link destroying it is Link taking the last thing that wasn't taken away from her yet away.
Ok, why I'm watching this and why I can't stop doing so.
I think I have a problem.
You gotta look at the mole differently then it’s cute, the two little dots on the sides above the jowls or mouth which you thought were eyes
My favorite Zelda character is named after a actor that was a huge part of my childhood hint actor named his daughter after Zelda
25:00
I don't think the monster lady has white eyes. I think her eyes are closed or swinging and she has glasses
For the old guy in zelda one, there is actually more than one and they have different sprites
Even if Bagu was written as Bug, I doubt many kids would get the joke. Bayyhgooo!
Happy Mask Salesman first appeared in Ocarina of Time and he wasn't as weird in Ocarina of Time as he was in Majora's Mask
I like Cia from Hyrule Warriors because she fall in love with Link but got corrupted by ganon but then she realized her role as the watcher of the Triforces after the defeat of Ganon if I remember correctly i also like her outfit
2:36 Here is the time stamp to THE GREATEST Zelda game.
Don't remember what game but surprised the purple rabbit like suit wearing guy that takes over your house wasn't mentioned
I've always thought that there where several old men in toz, not just one found in multiple places
In my opinion, Bagu is the most strange character of Zelda 2, much like Error, his name is related to system errors, and not only that, but also, he has a strange relationship with the only city full of villains, and as we know, he is the master of a _monster_
Edit: Oh, so it's a shared opinion, Bagu has so much backstory anyways, I don't think Nintendo will ever reveal it, the game is old, and all of OG Zelda's history is gone now
Didn't realize FlowerBlight Ganon was also known as Magda in BOTW.
I'm sorry, he's visually off putting and the weirdest overall.
11:06 I thought you meant Jenna Fischer at first and had to look it up only to realize that you meant the receptionist of the developer office.
How did I never realize that Beedle and the hand in the toilet in MM sound exactly the same???
A yes, Magda… aka, Flower Blight Ganon 😂
Batreaux wasn’t born a human?? We was always a demon who just… wasn’t evil, and was tired of people being scared of him.
Honestly I wish he could just be able to go outside and hang out with people without having to change himself for them. Very sadge
So Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda is the only Game & Watch with an alarm feature? I think it was necessary, a game and a watch at the same time, but without alarms, it was unacceptable
21:42 This guy reminds me of a character from Bob's Burgers
Great video! Is there anywhere I can contact you about a project privatley?
Thanks! offbeatdrill@gmail.com is my email.
My favorite has always been The Poe Collector. From OoT/Majora’s Mask.
He ran the Poe-fighting mini game in Majora's Mask, right?
Thank you Twin Peaks for inspiring Nintendo to make Zelda weird.
I haven't watched it yet, but I *know* tingle is in it
I’ll be honest, I’m a huge TLoZ fan, but I genuinely never even heard of a few of these games.
The Windfish looks like a Middens character
Link playing the song in the past to piss guy off just to learn it in the future... as yes time paradoxes, but with kinds like these there usually a missing nexus event that causes the loop. maybe in the original line link would have played along with him with his ocarina, jump starting the whole event, leading to the future to directly effect the past, retrocausality or something something blah blah... lol
Madame Couture send to be a pretty straightforward homage to famous Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.
My brother and will probably say wow!!! Like beedle in tears of the kingdom 50 times a day when we hang out. That dude in tears of the kingdom that wants to turn into a monster has to take it for that game.
I love the algorithm pushing good small creators my way
Welcome to the team! It’s been giving me a lot of creators like this and I’ve honestly been enjoying them more than some of the bigger creators I’m subscribed to.
I didn’t know that you could kill the old man
i think for the mole they might be sunglasses
Wait, were you using footage from olizandri's playthrough of phantom hourglass?
Yes!! I saw that too he always names Link Oliz!
38:43 What was this song from?
Darude Sandstorm
actually it's the Riverside theme from Triforce Heroes haha.
