@@SunnyBunnyMeadow I replied before but it disappeared, Overall yes, Some of them I would never buy they aren't my style. But they will help me get out of my comfort zone. I have noticed that my prints have gotten to be around the same size and similar. This fixes that and I am looking forward to some great scrap quilts.
@@Kathrynh-g9x It will make for some fun quilts! I think that I may cut some to make "fat quarter" quilts too. I had some that would go together so nicely for quilts even though as you stated, not fabrics I would have picked either! Happy Quilting!!!
What a great box!!! Some of those fabrics would help make a really neat "I Spy" quilt & others could be used for amazing kitchen gift sets like hot pads, casserole carriers, towel toppers, etc. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for the awesome ideas!! I've never created an I spy quilt before, Ireally should do that that sounds like so much fun! Thank you for watching!!
Thank you so much for watching! I was always very curious what was inside also and now I may have to order another when a great deal comes along that is!
Well, this was delightful to watch because I have always been curious about these in the bolts sales. I was wondering what was in them and how it went. Thank you for sharing with us.
@ I will look for it next Black Friday sale or big sale. But right now I am overwhelmed in my space with fabric. My goal for 2025 is to use it and not buy unless I need a specific fabric for a specific project. I was just buying because it was beautiful and I was building my stash. I can’t put anything more in now. I do have a lot of quilt tops completed probably 10 to 12 and now I will be sending them out to be quilted so all my budget will go to quilting them. Like Tammy Ernest says, every quilt deserves to be finished
@@NellieShannon-p9g I need to stop shopping for fabrics too lol! I always have a project in mind to make for my fabric purchases, but I have more projects in mind than I have time to complete!! I hope you get your 12 quilts quilted! That's a great idea to send them out for quilting but I don't think that would be in my budget. I do a lot of "quilt as you go" and outline stitching (until I can afford a quilt machine one day).
@@SewingWithLawayne That is a great idea!!! Lol you must have so much will power!!!! I'd love to see what you get, please let me know if you post it!!! Merry Christmas!! 🎄
That was fun! Book covers are a great idea. I bet if you offered the fabric that you don't care for to your quilty friends, they would either trade or buy it at a good price. My tastes have changed .....so the fabric that is no longer my favourite goes into charity quilts or gets donated!
I got a box a couple of weeks ago. I only saw two pieces in your box that I got….the teal and red piece for children and the last piece with the trees. Most of my pieces were about 27”. I measured and got about 25 yards total. I got one piece that was a panel that was cut so that the pattern was split. Thinking I will cut it into strips and sew it together like a jelly roll race to see how the colors will pool. Like you, there are pieces I wouldn’t have purchased, but they are a good addition to my stash and I know I will find a use for all of it.
When people purchase these boxes they are curious of the actual fabric patterns and the sizes. I know that I watched many unboxings before ordering. I was happy to take the extra time to measure, to let the viewers know that these were indeed usable pieces. They are advertised as ending bolt, so they could have been any size. Lol. I appreciate your comment though, thanks for your kindness 🙃

@Yodi430 Lol I know we are supposed to change all of our batteries this time of year... When the clocks change from spring to fall. I guess I should get into that habit! I feel the same way about being moved out of my comfort zone. This just happened. I was just contracted to make a baby quilt in pinks and purples. I have the minimal amount of purple fabric on hand because I'm just usually not a fan. So I'll branch out and undoubtedly love it. (My husband heard me say I didn't have any purple and left the house today to run some errands.... Came home and surprised me with two bags of different cuts of purples!!!!! Cottons, minky, fleece. I got one too, the only fabric I got that was a duplicate of yours was the Dr Suess.

how much was that box and how do you get one?
It was 80$ plus tax, a great deal
I ordered it online from Missouri star quilt company. I think they do have them quite often, and I did pay around $80 for this box.

I haven't added up my yardage yet, I need to do that! I will consider the pieces that I don't love, to be broadening my creative vision 😉
Why do you girls have to measure the material and just take up time in showing the beautiful material? I think it’s dumb. Sorry.
