Sweet sounds coming out them pipes… my next one I’m going for a simple setup like that, I like it. I got a 2004 with a 3 inch lift on the front with airbags sitting on 24’s. I’m giving it to my son next year🥲
So, I’ve been doing a little digging, the OBX website says the Crown Vic headers are still available, but only through dealers. I have no idea who their dealers are, they don’t list them. Kooks or stainless works may be your only options now, both are great choices though…
@@anthonybudke8945 Thanks! Kooks is your best bet then, OBX was nothing more than a knockoff of the Kooks design. Headers are great for performance, but I bet most of the sound comes from the -larger diameter pipe, and the X-Pipe. I'd start there unless you're going for an all-out performance build, you can always save up and buy headers later, although, there are rumors that Kooks may be discontinuing it's catless headers for the Panther platform.
@@Socoolds455 I would agree with you there that’s why I’m going to start with just the mufflers and x pipe with the 2.5 size pipe and going to do a side exit as well
That Sound is Awesome! Read your Answer to the Question about the Trans. Well Done and the Stance is Perfect. Also Like the Blacked out Trim. Did you paint it your self? Anyway Bad Ass Ride!
Pretty basic, nothing trick really. 3500 stall/lockup converter to get the engine into the powerband, the valve body is J-Modded, and the Mo's tune turns up the line pressure as well. Firm, crisp, shifts in all gears, and almost violent at WOT 😆. With the lockup, I'm still only turning 2500RPM at 70MPH with 4.10 rear gears.
But it matches the house! 🤣 Ice Blue Metallic wasn’t my first choice, the car was just a good deal when I originally bought it, but I’ve really grown to love the color.
Love it 👏👏
I'm loving the wicked sound of your car Bro, excellent combination 👌🏿

700 views , why yall not liking the video. Let the man get paid, don't be a hater 💪🏿💯
Haha, thanks for the enthusiasm! I'll never be a pro UA-camr, but a little extra cash for projects would be nice!
That's awesome, sounds wicked......
I wanted to add a x-pipe behind my h-pipe as a experiment to see how it will sound with my flowmasters
I’d be interested to see how that sounds! I hadn’t thought of that…
Was the obx headers for a 4.6 mustang or was it for a grand marquis I was doing some looking and I could only find them for a mustang???

Thanks! I blacked the trim with some black vinyl strip that I found at O'Reillys.
What’s your secret sauce for your trans? At 4:00 you chirped 2nd or 3rd

Your ride is sweet bro, sounds mean as hell. Have you ever thought about painting it white to compliment your pickup truck?
