Something looked odd to me with the gameplay clips (in my opinion), and its the bright green health bars, just kinda looks jarring to me. I know you want them to stick out and be easily noticeable but maybe tone it down a little? It just didnt look right to me with the rest of the aesthetic.
I thought something looked a little off the first time I saw the clip and I think this is it. The neon color palette on the hud seems more fitting for cartoony type game. I think it would be better suited with more natural colors.
Mental how you’ve gone from pretty much 4 years ago making some champ builds to making your own game! I don’t play raid anymore but I’m still watching vids to see what’s kicking. Can’t wait to play your game!
i hope the intense fog isn´t everywhere, it makes sense in the desert and around Vulcanos but i would hate it if it doesn´t fit. looks good so far, most Clanmates are intrested in Godforge if it´s not as manipulative like Raid with addiction abuse strategys, microtransactions and intense advertisement

GO GODFORGE! Just so psyched for this game, I am such a huge fan of all so many of these guys and I think it's so smart in how they have included and educated the community. I feel like I appreciate the work plarium does much more after watching the fateless project come together. I love how they have been interviewing other major gatcha game c.c.'s as ways to further expand the conversation and universe of great experience based ideas going into this game.

Because of Raid's monetization it may always be far ahead of Godforge on a profit basis even if the supposed player numbers shift over to Godforge. Then there is the reality that every game will have to shut down some day and will Godforge be deemed to 'have failed' merely if that happens before Raid regardless of why? Nah, I'd say that if Godforge sinks after giving a real good shot at things, the only ones who should be silenced are the people who would talk down at the Raid CCs that supported it.
Looks great. Whatever you guys do don't wait to add QOL things like gear presets and background fights that allow you to other things etc. Take our money! Better than supporting raid for example.

For your top rarity champions you could give them a signature skill that will take the fight into a different scene,not really pre recorded cinematic so you can visually see the different enemies it takes with it but a cinematic experience. Sorta as you are fighting for example,your character raises their weapon,a fog comes over to the screen to smoothly transition to the scene of the domain of said champion thematically,Honkai Star Rail did this really well if you look up two units,Acheron and Feixiao. Ofc you could have a menu option to disable this 'ultimate" animation effect to save some time on the runs.
i know its prolly a stretch but what i'd like to see is: the gear you equip actually changes your appearance with each set and a step further would be to have some kinda transmog system. that would just be top notch and i believe unique to this genre.
Can't wait to try it out. I do enjoy these style of games, the build up of a roster, the gambling aspect and working with what luck provides (think HoYo do the Gatcha really well with the 50/50 on banners, rather than the substantially more mean spirited 10x and similar for raid/WoR. It just FEELS better knowing you have a 50/50 and if you miss, you'll definitely get the next one. Getting pity right for players while still incentivising spending can't be easy :P I'd always argue in favour of easier access to champs, with spenders simply being able to improve those characters or never miss one) My main issue is account management. I don't know if anyone else agrees, but lategame just becomes a bit of a chore, bc it's often so difficult to sort, compare and sell items, to organise champs by the roles they ACTUALLY perform and to try teams. How many players have vaults FILLED with champs they forgot they had? :P (I know the search filter Raid put in helps enormously, but I'd personally like to be able to *organise* the champs, like the sometimes OCD monster I can be) I think this is something all gatcha games still aren't getting right (though I know that HSR has the best system I've seen right now, very similar to what WoR has coming, I think) I hope you guys relentlessly steal all the best ideas from the competition ;)
@@Neuvillete4.6 Obviously it's not 1 to 1 comparisons, the roster size alone :P But I think even so, a system where you can reliably aim at the heroes you "need" is better than a nebulous incremental increase in probability. I think Raid and WoR both recognise this issue, with their attempts to improve targeting of summons. I just think it's still not quite right :P (might be bitterness after hitting pity twice and picking up 3 leggos in a recent "banner" on WoR and getting *neither* of the featured champs. Spent every resource I had and still missed :P If I'd spent on those resources rather than just saving them up, it woulda been hundreds. Probably more) And HoYo still isn't guaranteed. It's a 50/50, but you'll hit at LEAST every other time. So it's more predictable (and imo, more likely to get people to spend :P)
@Neuvillete4.6 @DmGray my idea for aimed summons is for GodForge to include some specialty shards in addition to the ordinary/general shards... opening an attack shard will guarantee us an attack champ, an orcs shard will always summon a champ from the orcs faction, a spirit shard will get us a spirit affinity champ, etc... these specialty shards can also be fused before summoning to further focus our summon at what we want... imagine if Raid had these and allowed us to fuse a dwarves shard with a defense shard and with a spirit shard into a single spirit-defense-dwarf super-shard, then that super-shard would only pull one champ instead of 3 separate pulls - but in exchange for that sacrifice, that super-shard has a much higher chance of summoning a Gnut (or else one of the other spirit defense champs in the dwarves faction), instead of whaling out on shards during Gnut's 10x or progressive event and then having to wait for his event to roll around again after we come away empty-handed...

I am looking forward to Godforge, be nice to have an alternative to raid and while there are others out there, they havent really tickled my fancy but this one does seem to tick a few of my boxes
Looks great! Two things I'd call out are that the damage numbers feel extremely inflated & the UI colours feel a bit off but I'm sure that's being polished.
Idea: A feature that Raid should have had is load outs. So each Hero/Champion should have 2 loadouts where the gear selected is locked to them and cannot be assigned to other champs. This will allow you to switch loadout ro suit the need of defence/attack and of course free to switch. They now have similar in raid, but the same piece can be saved ro other champs.
Interesting. At 00:50 we see part of the background break and fall down. That would be an interesting feature to show if someone does some godly damage or something like that. A hit so strong is breaks the level a little.

I like how one of those god champions actually killed more of the background esthetics in his attack than actually doing damage to the actual enemy....lol first for everything I suppose = love this game
Suggestion: I'm sure the game is f2p friendly. my suggestion make slight variation of things in how they achieved it. Eg, if a champion can be obtained by a f2p grind and p2w event, make the p2w event one slightly different color/pattern, so everyone knows how they obtained it. Also leave the grindy path for p2w players to get the other color if they want to do it as well, but not duplicating the champion. If that camp summon with a shard make it a slightly different variation as well. or not, best of luck with the game, can't wait to play.
I can't wait! What I have seen so far looks very nice. But ... that's just the looks. As a (disappointed) Raid player I am more concerned about the gameplay, about progression, about balance (!), about a game that is less RNG and more skill etc.. You have the team to also excel in this, looking forward to the launch of the game.
curious to see how you guys handle the cost for packs and whatnot. certainly, I want to support the product and team, but i'm worried it will be another Raid your pocket legends. The current animation style really reminds me of Age of Magic. Might be a hard sell for players who want something as flashy as Raid.

I like them just afraid it might enter a rector drath situation. Her animations used to add minutes to a dungeon run.
