Just drove my 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali 4x4 with the Duramax across the country, from NJ to CA. 3500 miles total in length. Average was 18.55 MPG at an average speed of 72 MPH.
William Dey the problem with this guy is that he drove at 80 MPH. It don’t matter what you drive, at those speed you’ll never get any good mileage. If you want to get good mileage drive at a steady speed between 60 and 70 MPH and you’ll get some good miles.
@@CarlinDontCare And the problem with your statement is that it appears you don’t realize that in some parts of the country, speed limits are that high.
The computer was probably showing you the MPG for the last 25 miles, you can change it to tell you 500 miles. Love the truck, bet you guys love your jobs. Good job on the videos, enjoy watching them.
Love my LML. Glad I didn’t get the L5P I’m getting 21-23 on Highway at 75 80-85 I’m at 18-19 so a substantial drop but still better than the one you guys drove I still dig the video and it’s good stuff keep it up gents
I really enjoy the video quality. When you can see the bugs on the bumper and dust on the fuel pump, you know it’s a quality camera. Just makes that Sierra look fantastic
I've got the GMC 2500 with the Duramax as well and I'm getting between 20-23 MPG in West TN with a mix of driving on I-40 between Memphis and Nashville and some 2 lane country highways. I average between 60-70mph but there's some stop and go in the small, 1 stop light towns and I still get decent mileage. I've added an AF-E intake and that's it. I do have the upgraded Michelin LTX tires offered from the dealer and NOT the tires they had on their test truck and when I filled up last time, the truck's computer calculated I had 742 miles until empty! I love the truck and I'm not complaining about the MPG at all.
Same here Mr. Bryan. My best tank on my Duramax Denali HD so far was 802 miles, took 35 gallons to fill up for a 22.9 mpg average. I filled up in Homer, Michigan and drove to Love's Travel Stop, 11700 I-30 Frontage Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210. I used CC. It took 25,000 miles before it felt like my engine was loosening up some. The Duramax is without a doubt the best diesel engine of the Big 3.
I have the same result. I have the Chevy 2500 Duramax crew cab WT trim bone stock. 20-23 Highway @70ish (all cruise). However, as soon as a regen hits I can watch the mpg tick down for 30min. It takes a long time to recover from the loss (11mpg avg during regen). I towed my 9000lb TT 1800 miles round trip. I averaged about 12MPG @ 70mph. The TT is an older and has 0 aerodynamic qualities. I was in CO on the exact roads they were driving and it did not have a measurable impact on my MPG loaded or unloaded.
I own a Hilux. Where I live we have no speed limits over 50mph. Driving on those roads I usually get a fuel consumption of about 31 mph. But when I went on a trip to Sweden and Denmark where the speed limits were at 80 mph, the fuel consumption increased till 19 mpg. High speeds in an unaerodynamic pick up is no good.
So true. I had the 2.5l Ranger, the 2.5l L200 and the 2.0 Amarok. The magic mark in the 2.5 tdi is some where at 2000 rpm. As soon as you pass 2200 rpm the fuel consumption goes up. below that is where we get the really good fuel consumption.
I own a '17 Duramax Midnight Edition with the same stock Duratrac tires. The mileage I'm seeing is dramatically better. I mostly drive non-highway to work, approximately 70 miles round trip through the NY Finger Lakes region. This is stop and go through small towns and hills at about 60mph cruze. I averaging roughly 20mpg unless towing where I get around 12mpg with a fully loaded TH. New, the mileage was mediocre but has improved dramatically as the truck has broken-in.
I don't feel so bad now, I make that trip and don't do quite as well 2008 ram 3500 megacab lifted on 37x13.5's I'm sure they didn't push 80mph in the allowed zones. Would love to see a deleted vs non deleted version of this video. Obviously that can't happen. But would be interesting

@@alexanderforsgren1533 Then you will get crappy MPG in a full size truck like the guy in the video. Same truck going 70 mph with cruise control set will get 19 MPG very easily, so you're losing 4 MPG by going 80 MPH. Even going 75 MPH you will get 17-18 in this truck which is still 2-3 MPG better.
AleXander Forsgren the point is MPG. My Honda Accord can do 40mpg but I have to drive the right speeds. For this car is 55 on highways and 70 on interstates. If go 70+ I drop to 35 o 32. I’m sure this truck can do better if they did it at the best efficient speed. Oh well. Let’s just go 80 mph.
I get 18mpg with my 2017 F250 lifted 4" running 37" toyo M/T tires IF I drive 65 on the freeway. Just did a trip form California to Arizona to vegas back to arizona back to vegas and back to california, averaged 14.5mpg because we were going 80. The difference in fuel economy going 65-75 or 80mph is insane in trucks. Towing my bass boat 60-65mph I get 14mpg and towing my 5th wheel I only get 12.7 mpg. Still all of this is lifted on 37s so I am happy.
Thanks for the video. I would blame the tires and what looks like a level kit to fit the tires and the front valance has been removed.. I have a 2016 Denali HD 3500 duramax and my last trip doing 75-85 up to idaho from utah, I got 17.9 MPG almost 600 miles to the tank.
Not horrible at those speeds with headwinds, can't help but think the trip computer could be a bit closer. I have a Tundra with a contractors topper with ladder rack I'd be happy to get 14.5 at that speed, appears my cost per mile would be lower though.
Along I-24 in Tennessee, where we have a few small hills (except for Monteagle), the miles to empty in my Sierra has gotten as high as 720. And I've seen a high of 23.4 mpg.
15mpg? Makes me glad I bought an '05 instead of newer one. I've taken mine a few long trips and always get around 19-21 mpg. Though, it's not the trucks fault for the mileage. Thank the EPA. They want cleaner emissions and better fuel economy and you can't always have both. If you'd let the manufacturer build the engine without the emissions and allow those engines to breath proper, low to mid 20s is easily attainable.
Since the majority of speed limits are 70mph across the country this would have been a much better test at 70mph or even at 75mph since that's what most vehicles are designed to get best fuel economy at. Probably would have gained a mpg or two by reducing speed. Not to mention a set of all season or highway tires would have helped too, since a majority of truck owners aren't running all terrain or mud tires.
Alex Casey I've got no real hard facts from GM or any other companies stating that, but with a higher overall final drive gearing that newer trucks come with helps lower RPM and save fuel at highway speeds, and I've tested it on multiple newer vehicles and they all got better fuel mileage at 75 than the did at 70mph, which makes sense because a few states have raised speed limits, and even in states with 70mph speed limits many drivers run 75+ anyways and companies know that. Plus if they can make a vehicle get better fuel mileage with some gearing tweaks, why wouldn't they?
Drew w Well. . . Not arguing the accuracy of your experience, anecdotal evidence is not evidence. There is some very real physics at play, here. The CoD, is also a non-linear multiplier. There is merit to increased speeds SOMETIMES giving better real world MPG simply because they put the engine in the high powerband, the meaty area of the torque, and it requires less fuel to maintain said speed. Add in the MANY factors, and variables that every vehicle experiences, and you end up with real-world MPG all over the chart. Simply put, though, OEM's aim for the best MPG for the tests they are put through. This is why the extra gears, and lower torque peak output, benefits the rolling road (etc.) MPG test(s) that these vehicles are tested/rated with.
Okay, fair enough. I haven't done any hard research on this topic lately so I'm not saying it hasn't changed but typically vehicles are designed to get the best fuel efficiency somewhere around 55-60 MPH because that seems to be the sweet spot where the relationship between fuel economy and vehicle speed flatten out. Increases in vehicle speed causes an exponential (non-linear) increase in the amount of force needed to overcome drag. This increase is even more evident after 60 MPH. My proof for this is my 2015 Sierra gets about 19-20 MPG at an average speed of 65-70 MPH on a 100 mile trip. I can do the same trip and keep my speed at or below 60 MPH and my fuel economy increases to 23.5+ MPG. All vehicles will be different but in general most will achieve their peak fuel mileage somewhere between 50-60 MPH.
Alex Casey is correct. Most vehicles will get there best MPG somewhere around 50-60mph. My truck does its best at about 60mph. My Car was 55mph. My Jeep is about 55mph. My Yukon was 50mph. My last Jeep was 50mph. My motorcycle is 55mph. My other motorcycle is 50mph. Above 60 wind drag can get nuts. Look at hyper cars. They get to like 200mph and they they need another 100-150hp to get to 210mph.
Roman. When you get flat 12, thats regen mpg, you ran a regen in the beginning so then it was hard to climb out of that mpg. Also when you guys test, consider that on ur 100 loops.because 1 truck can run a regen at any of that time.
Do those lights on the bed bar do anything at all, besides light up the trees you're driving under? They appear to be too far back and too low to let the light clear the roof. (His lights were also tilted back a bit. Bat-Finders!) :)
Speaking of recalls did you know Ford just recently recalled 12,000 2017 F-150 model's due to transmission failure?. LMAO Now that's built Ford tough right there. 😂
northlander Those new truck's have a bad enough recall to put people's lives in jeopardy and Ford has only recalled 12,000 model's because it'll make them look bad if they recall any more. That's a pretty shitty thing to do to your customer's.
northlander Exactly for example the 3.5 duratec is one of the most reliable engines out there, but a handful of people have reported having engine issues with them, a extremely small group like 5 people in a chat online, virtually everyone else I've talked to has said their rock solid engines, glad because my explorer has one. Goes back to what you said. Not every single one can be perfect.
I owned a 2014 Ram Laramie Megacab 4x4 with stock everything. I drove 310miles to work from Louisiana to Houston twice a month doing the same thing u do to calculate my MPGs. I drove consistently at 64mph and my truck said I got 26.2mpg and calculations got 25.7mpg. Point is if want a 3/4 ton and still want the mileage or better mildage than the half tons take your time. As for the timing it added an additional 20mins to my commute compared to burning an extra 4-5gallons and spending around $13-$20 extra in fuel.
In that thumbnail, the back looks like a avalanche lol. Not a bad thing, and being a cousin to the silverado, which basically used to share a very similar design to the avalanche, it's not surprising at all. Looks good.
I get like 19-20 mpg here in Houston Tx with my deleted lml set on the 150hp tune from ppei. 373 gears. Sitting on 275/65/20. It was better with stock tires.
I had a 2014 Crew cab duramax and the best I ever got was 630 miles on a tank of fuel going from Georgia to Colorado. I just bought the 2018 and the MPG is not near as good right now. But man it has some power.
I have a 2017 Sierra Slt Duramax, its not an all terrain x, im running 34 inch bf goodrich all terrain k02’s (275/65R20) the truck is not leveled, (no rubbing by the way), and everything is stock, I have the air dam on, and I can get 18-20 mpg on the highway with the cruise set to 80, yesterday I had the cruise set to 78 and was getting 23. I think that not having the air dam really hurt the mileage of the truck in this video.
I have 2017 Chevy 3500 L5P and got almost 820 for the tank with roughly 15 miles left in the tank. With no tonneau cover. From Detroit to Salt Lake City 2 different fill ups showed that.
99 chevy s10 blazer fully loaded, stock, 179000 miles. Drove from Arizona to michigan doing 70-80 with it loaded to about its max, all my stuff and my Insta mpg said i got around 17-19 depending if I was climbing or not.
Hey guys the 15.8 mpg is for the last fifty miles not the whole trip I should know I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 4 x 4 crew cab with the 5.3, if you did a fifty mile test I bet the computer would be a lot closer. Awesome video and love the new HD all terrain x.
This is a real world test, who would drive 60, 65, or 70 in an 80MPH zone just because you are afraid of getting crappy fuel economy. So 15 at 80MPH is not too bad at all. Yes would it be better at 60, of course, but that is the speed Grandma would drive at going downhill with a tail wind. If you cannot afford the fuel, then you should not buy the truck.
Sure you will not give a crap the first weeks heck the first months but then you will start to care. Its a HD Truck not a Bugatti Veyron, they were never designed to travel at those speeds comfortably specially due to gearing.
skirmich thats exactly what happens. I too kept telling people when they would ask about my gas mileage “i didnt buy a truck to care about gas” for the first months. After half a year I started to care.... I wouldn’t even make small trips on the truck anymore. It would sit collecting dust. I finally made the best financial decicion and sold it back to the dealer and bought an accord hybrid. I spent more gas on that truck in a year than I will spend on the accord in 5 years.
I run my 2004 Duramax at 70 MPH max on the interstate. It's not just about fuel economy, it's about letting the engine stay where it likes to be in the power band. These trucks have such low gearing that it's terrible for them to run past roughly 75 MPH.
My concern is the tire size... It it the same as stock and if not has the ECU been calibrated for the new tire size? I remember when i first put 35s on my sierra at 70mph my speedo was over 5mph off
I have a 2017 silverado 2500 duramax in the midnight edition so basically the exact same as the Sierra all terrain X and I took it in a 698 mile road trip and I averaged 20.7 over the last 400 miles with the cruse set on 75. I also hit a new best of 26.8
Wind resistance increases exponentially with speed. And a big truck like that is about as aerodynamic as a brick to begin with. I actually think 15 is pretty impressive to push all that truck 80 mph up and over mountains. Most people don't need a truck with that much grunt, but if you do, the mpg penalty for all that extra capability actually isn't as horrible as I expected it to be.
Hopefully fm will work with Allison to get and 8 speed or a 10 speed in the trucks for the revamp in 19 20. They are aupposed to be moving the def tank to put it closer to the gas tank so you don't have to be Roman tall to fill the def tank. I just filled mine for the first time at 5k miles or so. Don't know if gm sent it out full or not. Anyway had to have a step ladder to get to it comfortably. I am only 5 9 though
I drove my 2008 corolla from Corpus Christi to kansas city and took highway 59 most of the way north. Average 43mpg, but however i mostly went 55mph. Going 70mph on the average highway and that mpg goes down to 35-37mpg.
At about 115 km/h (70 mph) in my 2017 Silverado 1500 High Country with the 6.2L gas I was getting 10 L/100km's (23.5 MPG) on my last trip from Edmonton, AB to Calgary, AB. I would have expected it to get better gas mileage than that being a diesel. On the way back with a 40km/h (25mph) head wind I was at 14 L/100kms (16.8mpg). Really surprising to me it was that low being a diesel.
need to put on a FASS lift pump and see what happens. my 01 duramax dually gained about 1 mpg or slightly more when not towing, SRW's always get better mpg's though.
2013 Toyota 4Runner, 5speed automatic 4.0 V6 and i drove it all the way to Northwestern Illinois from San Antonio. computer said about 19.4 mpg but every time i stopped for fuel (even after driving on SH-130) after doug around 90-100 mph i got around 20-22 mpg. matter of fact, through the Flint hills in Kansas on I-35 i got around 23 mpg doing 90 mph. i was really surprised. and same thing around 80 mph.
First thing I noticed...going 80+ in a truck is going to yield HORRIBLE gas mileage. So there's your problem. Drop it down to 65-70 mph and you would have gotten your 18mpg. The difference between 70 and 80 is huge in any vehicle.
Arecthe duratrac d or e rated ? I could only find d rated in 35in. Omg That was a mistake on 3/4 ton! Wondered all over the road with the weak side walls. Had them for 6 months and went back to e rated toyos!
Fyi: the 6.6 liter Duramax will start getting better fuel efficiency once the engine breaks in. It took my engine about 25,000 miles before I felt it was finally loosening up a little. These guys are completely full of poop on every video I've watched.
Then he states the truck only pulls 13,000 pounds. Another false statement. With 5th wheel or goose neck towing, the truck is rated at 17,900 pounds. 13,000 is for bumper towing on this model, which nobody in their right mind is going to tow 13K with the bumper when they can go 5th wheel and be much easier on the truck. These guys simply aren't very bright.
If its brand new and the engine and driveline are still breaking in that will cost some MPG as well. Still 15MPG at 80 with a stiff head wind is respectable.
Simple solution: Lose the def tank and those stupid diesel injectors in the exhaust. After having trouble with the def tank twice on my 2012 Silverado dually, A dealer in SC told me it would be 4000 to fix it, or I could run to a mechanic down the street and remove the offending def tank and exhaust injectors and then I would have a great diesel. He was right. Now if I keep the speed under 70mph, I get 19 mpg. When I had the def tank attached, I could barely get 13mpg. So much for technology
I wonder what would happen if you would drop it 5 mph. Maybe the magical 18 mpg? In Cali 75 is about as fast as you can go unless you're in the desert with fast traffic flow.
Toyota has officialy stated that for 2018 they'll be offering diesel on their entire pickup lineup and larger fuel tanks. Which means that Trd Pro with the off road will also have it.
Both of our 2015 duramaxs get 22 mpg with the cruise set at 75. They have gotten better mpgs at times. So I don’t see why that one is getting so much less than ours. Fuel differences? No way tires kill it that bad.
Nice truck can’t wait for the diesel f150 videos. Not for nothing but the HD trucks are good for out of the city driving and when you put as many miles as I do they feel stiff and sluggish (steering). Whilst I have two 16’ F250 platinum a 15’ F150 Lariat and 17’ 2500 gmc Denali I seem to always choose the 150 or the companies chevy 1500 for In city driving and in city towing. Just my honest opinion.
My 08 non deleted ram drove from moab to my house pulling a travel trailer on one tank of gas I think it averaged about 12 mpg and this gmc truck is only getting 12 by itself? Weird. I thought newer trucks would get better mileage.
you can fill the tank up all the way to the top. there is no charcoal canister like a gas motor. and you have a better chance of making it. rev 1: do more of these long range test with other trucks.
I love trucks but they kill on gas I used have a Nissan Titan and that was thirsty 11 to 12 mpg I never use to carry loads just going back and f , so I decide to get me a lil Toyota so I can keep my truck and now I really want a new model but I'm looking for the best mpg
My 2017 ram 2500 4x4 with a 6.4 hemi gets 17.3 on average highway and have gotten up to 21.2 mpg with a good tail wind, and that's using regular gas, not high test as recommended by dodge. Plus I don't need Def or diesel which is 20 cents more on average.
Most people don't realize that the speed limit on I-70 in Utah is 80mph..... then in Colorado it's mostly 75mph untill you hit the mountains. So 80mph isn't so ridiculous.
Delete the roll bar and you've got a beautiful truck.

I would rather have a reliable truck that has bad mpg's than a truck that has great Mpg's and is always in the shop getting fixed. Good video 🤘
Troy Hatfield sounds like you described the Tundra's engine. Reliable as hell, but horrible fuel efficiency.
@Graham AMEN TO THAT!!!!!!, my 05 is a thrusty bitch lol
Graham Clarence I can agree with that 🤘🤘
Diesel get the worse gas mileage when they are newif it had more than 34,000 miles it would be better

Not horrible at those speeds with headwinds, can't help but think the trip computer could be a bit closer. I have a Tundra with a contractors topper with ladder rack I'd be happy to get 14.5 at that speed, appears my cost per mile would be lower though.
Please continue to do the mpg run in 80mph limits because that’s how everyone drives and it keeps you guys legal and ad friendly.
Always a good job, nice videos guys
+ben ten thanks!
Just curious, but where did you get your information from about most vehicles are designed to be most fuel efficient at 75 MPH?
Damn that Sierra is one sick looking truck!. I wish Ford would follow GM's steps. 👍
Do those lights on the bed bar do anything at all, besides light up the trees you're driving under? They appear to be too far back and too low to let the light clear the roof. (His lights were also tilted back a bit. Bat-Finders!) :)
You must be Smoking Something Really Good
Speaking of recalls did you know Ford just recently recalled 12,000 2017 F-150 model's due to transmission failure?. LMAO
Now that's built Ford tough right there. 😂
northlander Those new truck's have a bad enough recall to put people's lives in jeopardy and Ford has only recalled 12,000 model's because it'll make them look bad if they recall any more.
Thanks to all u guys and gals for doing these truck reviews its good information we viewers other wise may not find out
In that thumbnail, the back looks like a avalanche lol. Not a bad thing, and being a cousin to the silverado, which basically used to share a very similar design to the avalanche, it's not surprising at all. Looks good.
This is a beautifully shot video. Great video!
What is that noise at 4:27, is that a air compressor? Tires low on air were they?
I enjoyed that you did it at the speed limit for location, its all 70-85 in my area too an its nice to see what other vehicles can get !
4 door
Hey guys the 15.8 mpg is for the last fifty miles not the whole trip I should know I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 4 x 4 crew cab with the 5.3, if you did a fifty mile test I bet the computer would be a lot closer. Awesome video and love the new HD all terrain x.
What size tires come on that? I like the aggressive look. Wonder what their load rating it
This is a real world test, who would drive 60, 65, or 70 in an 80MPH zone just because you are afraid of getting crappy fuel economy.
I'd be most interested in 75mph. That's as fast as I ever drive a big truck, and past 70, even 5mph can make a huge difference.
skirmich thats exactly what happens. I spent more gas on that truck in a year than I will spend on the accord in 5 years.
then obviously you dont need a truck very bad do you?
I run my 2004 Duramax at 70 MPH max on the interstate. It's not just about fuel economy, it's about letting the engine stay where it likes to be in the power band. These trucks have such low gearing that it's terrible for them to run past roughly 75 MPH.
My concern is the tire size... It it the same as stock and if not has the ECU been calibrated for the new tire size? I remember when i first put 35s on my sierra at 70mph my speedo was over 5mph off
I5ZQ8 those are stock tires...
Most fuel economy ratings are 55 so I think doing 80 and 85 is gona be tough to beat with anything similar
I think that I would be more concerning with the elevation climb affecting the mpgs than the speed.
Anyone noticed the Loved gas station changed their green lighted diesel price from $3.13 to $3.08 right at sunset? At 3:01 in the video.
Your @ the Gypsum, CO shell station. Not in Eagle, which is another 11.5 east
The did a test on the Ram 2500 Cummins. He did 65mph and got 24.7mpg.
I drove my 2008 corolla from Corpus Christi to kansas city and took highway 59 most of the way north. Average 43mpg, but however i mostly went 55mph. Going 70mph on the average highway and that mpg goes down to 35-37mpg.
Do more videos like this! I love road trips!!
12.5 mog did you have a 10k trailer on the back?
L5P already has a lift pump.
Who makes the Sierra stamped bed pieces
You have to also remember they were going uphill most of the time
Love it when you guys do videos like this keep it up!!!
I have a 2018 2500 high country. I get 22.5 mpg on the highway and about 15 around town. Tires maybe?
When I go to a "ROADTRIP" I never drive at 80mph..... The idea of a "roadtrip" is to enjoy the ROAD in the trip, Not blasting through it.
+skirmich In the West we have to cover big distances, so 75 - 80 mph speed limit is just about right.
That thing would look great in my garage!
I am not sure about the new duramxs but the older ones once they get broke in got better milage.
First thing I noticed...going 80+ in a truck is going to yield HORRIBLE gas mileage. So there's your problem. Drop it down to 65-70 mph and you would have gotten your 18mpg. The difference between 70 and 80 is huge in any vehicle.
Good Vid!!! I really would have loved to see more of that I70 scenery. I hear it is a very beautiful stretch of interstate.
Arecthe duratrac d or e rated ? I could only find d rated in 35in. Omg That was a mistake on 3/4 ton! Wondered all over the road with the weak side walls. Had them for 6 months and went back to e rated toyos!
Andy Hass Duratec? Yes those are reliable engines what else are you saying?
Puff the Magic Dragon duratrac r the tires he was talking about. Gzz didn't think I had to day Goodyear duratrac so people would understand.
Dang, you guys went right thru my home town of salina, crazy! PS im from eagle county and miss it a lot
My best tank so far on my Duramax Denali HD is 802 miles. I filled up tank with 35 gallons for 22.9 mpg avg.
These guys simply aren't very bright.
how did you see the def fluid range
how much was it to fill up?
Running the tank very low on fuel will not be a good thing for the fuel pump, injectors etc.
Mpg is determined by also how fast you’re going, on my 2017 dosage Cummins I’ve gotten it up to 20 mph going at a rate of 65-70 mph
This would be a great test to watch for the power wagon and new raptor.
Did you use cruise control at all?
Yes, the entire way.
Fantastic, thank you for the super fast response!
can you get this package with the 6.0 gas?
If its brand new and the engine and driveline are still breaking in that will cost some MPG as well. Still 15MPG at 80 with a stiff head wind is respectable.
My sierra 5.3 liter was getting 28 mpg at about 115 to 120 kph it's an 06 the key is do not let the rpms come even close to 3 grand
The mpg dosent go up on the dic as soon as you start driving on the highway. It takes quite a few miles
You guys have an awesome job!!
News that matter wow!!! Prepare to see a diesel v8 in a tundra!!!1VD-FTV
News that matter Just what the world needs, more TuRD’s with frames rusted through!
You guys drive 600 miles for these mpg runs?
Don't get me wrong, Utah and Colorado are beautiful, but seeing them at night is like going through the Louvre blindfolded.
Great job Roman
Don’t care about mpgs when you got a badass off-road vehicle😉
This is an awesome looking truck
15 mpg in that truck @ 80mph is honestly pretty darn good
Good review, 80 mph is about average hwy speed in the state I live in.
I think MPG is figured at 55 MPH and possibly even after the engine is broken in.
you can fill the tank up all the way to the top. there is no charcoal canister like a gas motor. and you have a better chance of making it.
rev 1: do more of these long range test with other trucks.
I love trucks but they kill on gas I used have a Nissan Titan and that was thirsty 11 to 12 mpg I never use to carry loads just going back and f , so I decide to get me a lil Toyota so I can keep my truck and now I really want a new model but I'm looking for the best mpg
Interesting test. Seems like quite a bit factored into that trip.
So 80mph isn't so ridiculous.
nice truck super good test
