Bravo,@@MrCarrera28 - well argued! I stand corrected - that flare kit really DOES hark back to the golden years of Australian vehicle design, and the XE commercial range (wooooo - with Ghia light clusters jammed in) truly warmed the cockles of Australian car buyers' hearts. 😑
@@assininecomment1630 What argument my friend? I merely complimented you on the appropriateness of your name. Congratulations on further demonstrating the veracity of this comment.
Nice ute Mate. I always had a soft spot for XE's and had a good one back in the day. I always wanted to fit it with one of those group C body kits after being a fan of DJ,s green beast. But to see it all on a ute thats different. What a brute. 👍
So. You have kinda built an ESP Ute. Gave it a Huge dose of steroids. Then mated it with a Monster and this is its first born.?? She’s a piece of art there old mate. Thanks for sharing it with us all.
Bravo nice ute , well done looks and sounds great ive restored a ford rtv vixen red to as original condition as i can get , keep those old fords alive .
I absolutely love it... i owned an XD Fairmont ghia with a phase 5 body kit back in the early 2000s 383 stroker stage 3 clevo, 4spd top loader with square cut gears.. i miss that beast so much.. These days I'm in an AUII XR8 in immaculate condition full tickford body kit with pacemaker extractors etc. Can't beat the blue oval ute with an 8 in it
Carnuts I’m so sorry mate I accidentally removed the post instead of replying. Yes it is a Focus XR5 (ST) with a stage 3 tune, intercooler (Airtech), KMS exhaust with Dreamscience dump pipe and Venom cat, Elevate plenum, Simota CAI, 2xs RIP, WRC bonnet vents, Flowdesign splitter, Koni shocks all round, short shift with custom gear knob, 18x8 Avis 20’s. that’ll do
Do you have flared guards??!! I have a customized set for XD-Xe that I got made for my race car that I don’t use nothing wrong with them just didn’t suit theme of tha car??!!
That is a stunning ute, you have captured an iconic piece of Australian motoring history.
The XE commercial variants are definitely *not* iconic. Nor are ridiculous fibreglass flares. 🤦🏼♂️

@@MrCarrera28, Blind Freddie can see why the ute is a clumsily modified mutant, and why your plaudits are nonsense.
Fucking beUTEiful! Wish we would’ve had these in the USA

As a Holden man, I approve of your XE. That is the style I like, not the later with the back added on. Hope you still have it.
Really nice. It looks powerful but not over the top, just right to compliment the growl coming from the guts.
This isn't a ute, it's a work of art.
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
This was when I had literally no fuel in the tank haha...im surprised it made it that far!

If I was walking the street and that thing rolled by I'd collapse.

Great ute. Please remove the HO tag. It's not a HO.
It is dude. HO certified by HO themselves.
