The man spent way too much of his free time learning a variety of blade based combat in his free time. His throwing knife and combat sequence at the end proves he just finds all sorts of ways to kill.
When Peacemaker was in prison, Vigilante studied the blade
My fav kill is after he’s shot he just tosses a blade behind himself and manages to hit the guy while not looking . 👏👏

Yeah, there were SO MANY times the group only survived because Vigilante bought them just enough time to get their s**t together. He's their Charlie Kelly. Every group needs a wild card

He’s definitely a sociopath not psychopath, he has clear empathy and isn’t manipulative whatsoever
Also, psychopaths number one trait is to use people for their own gain, while maintaining control. He clearly is earnest AND reckless beyond measure, like a sociopath.
Id say he is a psychopath and peacemaker is a sociopath, psychopaths are just like that early on while sociopaths are kind of made and vigilante does lack normal empathy, whatever else he has or shows is learned, he isn't shown to be manipulative because he is a moron but he has some manipulative traits like with the prisoner fight. You can be a psychopath and be stupid. Peacemaker is more of a sociopath, he was taught/forced to become like that and he has struggles and is more volatile.
Well, I mean the ratio of socio to psycho isn't exactly black and white, it's more of a spectrum or like a really fucked up social skill tree.
@@streetvybzswag1.067 That's not how it works. Sociopathy and psychopathy are two very different things, not a spectrum. A psychopath is clinically unable to experience empathy or remorse. They can fake it, to adhere to social norms, but they don't feel it. A sociopath has sufficient empathy or remorse to lash out aggressively when confronted. Vigilante is clearly a sociopath, because he does empathize and react to the needs of the team, but he'll also apparently murder graffiti artists without remorse.

i usually don't like edits but this really captured how terrifying vigilante is when you're not on his side. like he's really endearing when you feel like ur part of the team but imagine being some rando he kills with no remorse. nightmare fuel.

He is not psychopath, he is a sociopath. Main difference is, that psychopath kills because he does not feel emotions. Sociopath kill because he does not care about his emotions. Vigilante is clearly emotional, care about people he like, but does not care about rest of people. Also sociopathy can be "learned" psychopathy is congenital. Sometimes sociopathy comes hand to hand with psychopathy and thus is hard for regular people to distinguish.

How is he Deadpool like though? The man doesn't crack jokes, he's earnest in everything in he says, no powers, barely sarcastic, doesn't break the 4th wall...really failing what you see here besides a mask that covers his whole face and a muffled voice.

What a fucking legend! Vigilante is my favorite character in the piecemaker
For those who do not read comics, the Adrian Chase version of Vigilante in the comics is a District Attorney whose family is killed by the mafia. He then becomes Vigilante to take out criminals but slowly goes insane doing so while inspiring others to use the identity to kill people (even the innocent). He's basically a knockoff of the Punisher, but unlike the Punisher, he eventually experiences enough guilt to lead him to commit suicide. The character is nothing like the one portrayed in the show. They are both crazy, but the comic book version is serious and not played for laughs.

What's crazy is that the original Vigilante actor (Chris Conrad) was fired after a majority of the episodes had already been filmed. They had to go back and refilm all of his scenes with Freddie Stroma. Seems like a smart decision. Chris Conrad is 50 years old and does not look like a fit for the character at all.

Look up the Vaas Montenegro Experience on youtube. They literally had a web series of live-action Vaas(played by his voice actor) as a promotional thing when Far Cry 3 was coming out.

In the comics he's a lawyer who's family is killed by mobsters so he gets revenge by dressing like that and brutally punishing mobsters.

In the comics he's actually very intelligent and educated lawyer who's family are killed by mobsters and so he goes out dressed as Vigilante and brutally kills them.
You can see where marvel got the idea for Frank castle.

I finally watched the show and it was so good. I‘m sure you could point out a million things wrong with it but I had so much fun that the only thing that bothered me was a bug on Amazon that made me think it had twice as many episodes and then it ended way too soon.
