  • In today's video, I work on a Brute branded mower with a Briggs and Stratton Classic engine. It was in rough shape and we transformed it into a working, cutting mower again for someone. Once I finally got it running, it ran rough. It surged badly which is usually an indication of a clogged carburetor. Not this time though. Watch how I diagnose and fix this problem.

Great approach. Make something out of nothing and move to the next fixer. Excellent work.

At the cost of push mowers today, I would have cleaned it up and changed oil, sharpen blade and got probably $80 for it. Might not have been more profit but would have been a better mower for customer and better PR for you.
