These Westinghouse generators are really good generators I had last year the I gen 2200 c and really liked it it was super quiet and also very fuel efficient I wish I hadn't sold it but I plan on getting one to replace it ASAP I'm thinking about going with the 2500 this time there is another model that has the 30 amp RV plug which would come in handy play otherwise it would be identical to this one but I'm definitely sold on the brand and good review 🙂
I have two Westinghouse generators. WPro 8500 and the iGen 2500. Very pleased with both. I log monthly exercises and use premium non ethanol gas in all small engines around here. Nice video brother.
@@renaissancemarinetv3536 Power lines all around are above ground with old mature trees throughout most of our city. We lose power several times a year. I have five portable generators, rotate usage at the cabin with the three smaller models. The other two are for home backup.
During Hurricane Rita in Sept 2005 when I lived at my brothers house in Sugar Land we lost power for 5 days. A few of the neighbors had generators and the neighboring women who did not could be seen in the mornings making their way to a neighbor's generator with hair dryers in their hands.
Have you done the parallel yet? I’m wondering how the data display works when it’s paralleled. Do they both show individual info for each or does one display a combined wattage output, fuel, etc?
sams club has this right now for 319 with free shipping if you are a sams club plus member. My friend and I just ordered one each. I have the 2200/2500 one already.
With mine yes. Seems worse in the heat. I plan on drilling a small hole in the top of the cap for venting as it runs perfectly with the cap off. I have two and they both do surge after running for awhile if the cap is on. It's not a carb issue as they are both new, I took both apart cleaned and they still do it. I even ordered a new carb for one and it still does it. Seems to be a really common issue.
While parked at a truck stop, someone stole my spark plug cover blue cover and I called Westinghouse. They don’t make the part. Total fail imo. Debris and water can get in there. A major flaw! I Why wouldn’t they great a locking mechanism or better yet offer a replacement so people won’t steal it!!? I’m gonna return it since Westinghouse never got back to me.
That really makes no since that they don't make parts for them how the hell do they assemble them I know you probably already returned it but to answer a question for you in the future they have a thing called 3d printing which I'm sure a 3 d printing place could print out a cover for it or whatever else you can't get I'm sure 3d printing can make all those things shoot their making guns with 3d printing so I'm sure it's all possible

I've been looking to get a WH generator after watching your other videos, and other channel's videos of them. They seem pretty solid for the price.

Just got mine and the back cover two bottom secure points are broken. Other thank that, it’s running nicely

it would take a bigger generator than this. and it is incredibly dangerous. you have to have a electrician do it.
