I had the same problem with that generator. Fuel goes bad within 6 months even with stabilizer and gums up the carb. Once i got some carb cleaner in there and flushed it out it started again. Now i run it for 15 minutes with load every 2 months and i always make sure to drain the carb after every use and i have never had an issue since. Just used it for 8 hrs earlier this week for a power outage and it worked great.

Thanks for watching! If you remove the jet on the side be careful it's small. If you have wielding tip cleaners those will work,if not a bread twist tie works well also.these will work so that you don't have to remove it if you don't have to. Thanks again for watching and stay safe!

Those generators always gum up from stale gas. I have a Honda with same issues. They require constant start-ups to avoid that problem. 😃👍

Gas is cut off by not having choke set on.
