Can't believe we are having such a heated debate about this in the UK in 2023. The Brits tip toeing around, terrified of being accused of being far right, while the argument is over something that has nothing to do with this country shows just how oppressed we have become ourselves.
The presenter seemed to be encouraging the stupidity for men of their religious culture to refer to western women as whores because women in the west don’t let a piece of cloth determine how virtuous they seen to be. Culture in all the countries where this religion is practice have a male privilege culture where women are suppressed and seen as a piece of meat 🥩 to bear children and to cook and keep them clean. How degrading the other women is correct in what she was saying. It’s a symbol of suppression and misogynistic. A disgrace and it’s not the scarf but what it represents. 🤮

And when the other lazily interrupted and said ..."you are not free just because you are exposing yourself" that shows her malice and the way they see it : if a woman is not wearing hijab, she is exposing herself! But Islam wants womento wear it as a reflection for their inner modesty and piousness. If internally you’re not modest or pious, wearing it would make it a hypocritical act. @@lerumovanzyl1953 the laws in this world were created according to religion. How do you know morality ? Where do you learn it from? The aztecs thought that burning their babies was moral for example. Some religions think some things are moral some other things not so much. Like Islam tells you to not drink alcohol as it is immoral and its benefits don’t outweigh the negatives. But this is all to say that our morality is governed by religion. No doubt about it my friend. In Islam humans choose to live life according to the world or live life according to God. Islam doesn’t impede the liberty of humans. Instead it liberates us. Did you know that in Islam women were allowed to divorce their husband long before the west allowed it? Women cover for themselves, and God. As a sign of humility, not disgrace. A woman who knows she’s beautiful doesn’t need to show it to the world to seek external validation. The world is temporary anyways. Once we understand the true meaning behind Islamic acts, people will stop judging based on what they hear or see. These honour killings happening around the world in the NAME of Islam… they are a disgrace to humanity and to the good name of Islam. We don’t condone honor killings. "Do not attempt to take another human being's life, which God made sacred."(Quran, 17:33). And again: "Whoever kills a human being not convicted of murder ( or in self defence) is considered the murderer of all mankind. Whoever saves the life of a single human being is considered to have saved the life of all mankind!" (Quran, 5:32).
The contrary thing is that the woman on the left has her hair uncovered, but wears virtually no makeup, and is probably considered 'unmodest' by Islamic standards, but the Muslim woman on the right, while she wears a head scarf, has a full face of glamorous makeup on and yet is considered 'modest'. I don't understand the double standards here. Is the woman on the right really considering her whole appearance just for herself and God, when she's wearing so much makeup? Furthermore, the man almost points this hypocrisy out by saying that she's very attractive. Is he not supposed to look upon her and find her beautiful, when she is using almost every 21st century trick in the book to appear more beautiful and glamorous in the eyes of all who see her?
The make up is to make us think they have freedom. Truth is they are controlled in every aspect of their lives and the hijab represents that truth. I remember the story of Benaz and my heart will always hurt over the awful way in which she was killed, by her uncle, cousins (all male family members). Woman are not respected in that culture at all. They are suppose to love and enjoy beatings they get for the least offense. I thank God I did not grow up in a religion that only respect the men. There is nothing attractive about the muslim faith that has little to no care or concern about the women. The women who go along with this are either brainwashed or fearful of their lives point blank period.
I suppose if you want to look attractive to men and you have horrible hair then they can excuse the hair being covered due to religion and then apply full face make-up

Full covering for Muslim women is mandated by Allah in the Quran. Chapter 33 verse 59. 'So that they may be recognised and not molested.' 😁 Other women are fair game of course. 😂
Women don't solely wear makeup to attract men, women like men like to express themselves as they have done for millenia! Personal adornment is a fundamental trait that differentiates us from all other species & is at the core of us being human.
..30. Tell the believing men; they should lower their gaze and protect their chastity; this will make their lives purer. Allah is fully aware of what they do. 31. And tell the believing women; they too should lower their gaze, protect their chastity, and not expose their beauty except what is visible, and their head covers should be stretched over their breasts. They should only display beauty to their husbands, fathers, father in law, their sons, husband’s sons, brothers, nephews, nieces, women, slave maids, elderly male servants free of sexual desires, and children who are naive of women’s nakedness. Neither should they stamp their feet to draw attention to their hidden beauty. Believers turn to Allah in repentance together, so you may be successful. Not in the Holy Quran I hear you say?? I just showed you one verse from the Quran and there's plenty more! Don't go around preaching what you don't know like this pathetic women who thinks she's a Muslim yet doesn't know the basics of Islam!

@Kleoptra😂 name one nun who has ever blown something up please! Lmfao "Everytime!"!?!? No! That's false! Stop lying all over the comment section! It's gross!
The female host's perspective is misguided. It's inherently misogynistic! Muslim men have the freedom to wear what they choose, while Muslim women face severe restrictions. Women who refuse to comply with these dress codes often risk their lives. In contrast, nuns won't face lethal consequences if they decide to remove their religious attire. It's crucial to recognize this stark difference!

no one tells anyone from the Quran to do anything. Truth stand out from lies and there is no compulsion in religion. Chapter 2/256 Quran. This is the religion. Men grow beards women wear scarves and cover their adornments. This is to protect women and men from immorality so that we can progress in innovative critical, logical, rational and reasonable solutions to advance. Alcohol gambling and nakedness is not progressive in society rather it’s a dangerous evil force of exploitation in men and women. Look at female pop stars what are they teaching girls that naked is ok. No it is immoral and indecent and it creates bad thoughts in men and seriously diverts progressive thinking.

I live in a large populated muslim area and i always have more respect for muslim women who dont wear it because its likely at some point they had to defy the opinion, threats or indoctrination from some fanatical loon
@jj-yi1ne British people aren’t forcing them to wear or refrain from wearing the hijab, so there isn’t any indoctrination on the part of the Brits. If a Muslim man tries to force a woman to wear it against her will that would be in line with indoctrination.
Why? Because they do as you want then to by disrespecting their own culture and faith and being forced and indoctrinated Into believing in your secular Liberal nonsense?!
Anyone pick up where she said "you're not free just because you want to expose yourself" basically saying the other woman should cover up, yet she has the cheek to say wearing the hijab is a choice
She is not saying to cover her up. It's a simple thing freedom is not being naked or wearing less clothes, freedom is a very big term. It includes freedom of education, economy, speech, expression, clothing, voting rights etc.
I have no problem with women wearing the Hijab IF that’s their choice what I do have a problem is seeing little girls wearing one. They obviously haven’t been given the choice have they? Why would a parent do this? It’s brainwashing
O.K, why do I see western women dress their 9/10 year old in transparent figure hugging leggings where you can see their butt cracks and boob tube or a bikini? Why do you make children wear your cultural attire like jeans a short tops? Are you not sexualising your children? Why would you do that?
Thing is most of the time little girls want to wear it cos they want to look like their mothers or older sisters. Children tend to copy their older family members and enjoy doing that. It’s not that controversial like cmon it’s ridiculous having this debate about hijab. 25% of the world population is Muslim that’s 1 in 4 people, it’s not controversial or abnormal, we as British people just need to move on from this pointless debates
The wearing of the hijab is actually an indication of how a woman submits to the authority placed by another person in the name of religion. Nothing to do with faith. Physical appearance is more important to show others how 'holy' you are, spiritual holiness is secondary. Just like people who pray in public to show off when actually they're just a nuisance.
islam does not teach us only how to pray in the mosque but also how to behave in our daily lives and wearing of hijab to both men and women is among the teachings of Quran
Why don’t they have the courage of your convictions and faith …..by leaving the west and living in a Muslim country Otherwise it’s just a token gesture…..go make your Muslim countries better

But when you rudely interrupted i realized how PUSHY AND RUDE you were. Khadisha has the right to speak too. But you don't think she has a right to voice her own feelings if they differ from you.
"Force to wear it" Just yesterday I went out to get groceries and over heard a lady saying she was called into a family meeting for not wearing hijab where all manner negative words was spoken to her.
They're going against the religion of Islam by forcing someone to wear hijab. In Islam is it not permissible to force anyone to wear hijab so they're sinning by placing that force. It's every women's choice if they wear it or not. Simple as that. That's what PRACTICING Muslims follow.
So, tomorrow we have Muslims from the mosque coming to my children's primary school to deliver a "mosque workshop." All to help us better understand the faith of Islam....apparently. I am a Christian woman who is very familiar with the Quran and Sharia law. They are trying to gain the trust of our children, and I will not fall for this great deception. Therefore, I have withdrawn her from this session at her primary school. Any majority Muslim country that is under this law suffers terribly. Especially the women! Where are we going as a country?? This is scary stuff!!
@Kleoptra I'm absolutely not spreading hate, just my opinion. We have suffered greatly here in this country at the hands of young Muslim men grooming young girls. This is a fact. Whilst I accept it isn't all Muslims that are doing this, there has been too much covering up on their behalf, so forgive me for not trusting the sincerity of the mosque. I believe the Muslim community has lost a lot of trust in this country. It is not hateful to feel this way. I accept that America aren't innocent in a lot of this, but they were NOT responsible for the killing of the beautiful young lady in Iran!!! Many are suffering terribly as we speak due to the Islamic regime. She was killed for not wearing a headscarf, so you can't blame everything on America.

How degrading the other women is correct in what she was saying. It’s a symbol of suppression and misogynistic. A disgrace and it’s not the scarf but what it represents. 🤮

@@nisaalam955Humans do not need religion to have constructive morality and ethics. We can respect differences until those differences impede the liberty and equality of any other peaceful, peace-seeking human.
@@lerumovanzyl1953 the laws in this world were created according to religion. How do you know morality ? Where do you learn it from?
I suppose if you want to look attractive to men and you have horrible hair then they can excuse the hair being covered due to religion and then apply full face make-up

Last year, on a searing hot July say, on a beach in Dorset that was holding an annual volleyball event with championships for professionals and lots of nets for holiday makers to play, there was a group of Muslim men playing, wearing shorts and vest tops. Their wives, covered from head to foot, some in a niqab, were huddled against the promenade wall or in the shelters for shade. I thought Muslim men were supposed to dress modestly too so yes, seeing the men dressed like westerners and the women muffled up I'd say it's misogynistic attire.
That is typical of how they behave in the Middle East in 45 degree weather.

It's getting intolerable. Women are being murdered for not wearing this garb. Support your sisters and don't wear this headdress.

She talks about choices. Let's see what happens if she one day chooses to not wear it in Iran, Saudi, etc.
Fact is in 98% of Muslim families if a woman stopped wearing it her own family would denounce or hurt her!
@@Jman-uz6gp I know, growing up one of the neighbors was a Muslim family. They were very progressive in that they retained parts of their faith. But in practice was very secular in the same vain of people who mainly go to church for funerals and weddings. Luckily social media was not a thing so they only had to pretend that they were "good Muslims" whenever family members would visit them. Our parents had to explain to us kids that during those visits we couldn't play or hangout like usual. And the women had to play dress up and do all the work that the family normally shared.
Even other Muslim families that didn't even live near us would call each other. Putting on an act just in case someone saw them around town, living integrated lives.
When I was in my teens we had moved. I became friends with a Muslim girl who started dating one of my best friends. When family members found out she had a white boyfriend. They sent her back "home" to a country she had never been in her entire life. Because she had committed a sin but it could be salvaged since she was still a virgin. So it was decided it was for the best that at 14 she would need to marry an adult man. She managed to get a hold of a phone, called my friend and told him what was happening, begging for help. Since she just vanished one day and the parents wouldn't tell us why she wasn't at school or at home. Him and his parents tried to get child services involved, and were ready to take custody of her if that is what it took. They were told there was nothing they could do because they were not her legal guardians. And were told it would be a political nightmare if they were to go after the parents for having abandoned their daughter. Because it could be viewed as not having religious tolerance.
Her final text to my friend she said she couldn't take it anymore. Her husband treated her as his personal servant. And he needed to teach her how to get rid of the western influence. So when she found out that she was pregnant she sent the text and then jumped.
So when I would debate people later in life and they accused me of being Islamophobic. I always ask them to be spesific and tell them those two stories. If it's phobic to be against people having to pretend they are religious enough in fear of reprisal. Or being against forcing girls to become child brides, then I'm guilty as charged.
But then you must also say that I'm Catholic-phobic since I'm not a fan of what priests has been doing either and all the other problems various religions has caused. So you can't really charge me with having a problem against people with different skin pigmentation. I have a problem with bad ideas getting spread.

Brits have history of taking over other people's countries, making laws for them to obey, pushed their religion on them, took the resources of the country and enforced it all with their army.
There are a lot of people who have lived in this country, for 50 or more years, and are unable to speak English. That is why a lot of money is spent on interpreters. No other country does this, you learn the language or you pay for your own interpreter.

When ever I’ve seen women out with their male partners whilst wearing full or partial face/head coverings it’s noticeable that the men wear western clothing which suggests it’s the women who adhere to the Muslim culture either voluntarily or forcibly .
As I've just commented, on a searing hot July day last year on a local beach, Muslim men were playing volleyball in shorts and vest tops while their wives, muffled up from head to foot, a couple with only their eyes showing, tried to find shade.
I’ve seen …even in Dubai..the men wear shorts flip flops T shirts ….the woman fully covered .in searing heat …walking behind their men ….so sad ..all in the name of religion..we don’t want it here ….
@@joancline4844while women in the western world are treated like second class citizens in the work place, raped while at work, the institution of marriage is not existent, partners cheating with other people, pornography is an epidemic in all age groups from kids to adults…. This is western society for you!!! Clean up your own houses first before commenting on others
@@joancline4844 ‘Don’t want it here’ such hypocrisy considering you went to a Muslim country Dubai and probably wore a bikini at the beach😂😂 I don’t think the people of Dubai wanted that there either
@@Prankcallish haha ..no way would I ever wear a bikini ..and when walking about I always am fully covered …respecting the laws of the land ……and Dubai is totally geared up for western visitors it’s their lively hood ….I was making an observation about the clothes .the local woman wear compared to the local men …I can have an opinion like you have …well at least in this country up to date You can !……and no I don’t like to see woman suffering in searing heat …all to please a man ..
So is she saying her creator is admitting that he has created something so ugly he wants it hidden. If he is the 'Creator', why would he do that?
Really dreadful facilitating allowing them to talk over each other over and over.
That's what Muslims do... Watch any debate with them involved. Usually fists start flying, all in the peaceful name of Islam 😂... at the end of the day, they oppress thier little girls by indoctrinating them into hilter youth style beliefs and mindsets!
Usual muslim exchange of just shout your dogma louder
The presenters were pathetic with this! The lady with the scarf on was by far the dominant speaker..
Because long hair is a temptation for the creepy men.
I live in a large populated muslim area and i always have more respect for muslim women who dont wear it because its likely at some point they had to defy the opinion, threats or indoctrination from some fanatical loon
Mind Begs the Question:
Wearing Mask - Prevention
Wearing Hijab - Oppression?
True
@jj-yi1ne British people aren’t forcing them to wear or refrain from wearing the hijab, so there isn’t any indoctrination on the part of the Brits. If a Muslim man tries to force a woman to wear it against her will that would be in line with indoctrination.
Why? Because they do as you want then to by disrespecting their own culture and faith and being forced and indoctrinated Into believing in your secular Liberal nonsense?!
Andrew Tate love people like that...
Excuses@@imranhasan4109
So why's she wearing makeup? 💄 😘
It’s a contradiction! Make up and jewellery are being modest but showing hair isn’t 🙄 crazy rules
Yes she's not supposed to be wearing makeup and jewellery. But she is not an Angel. No one is perfect!!!!
@@livinia296 why shouldn't she be wearing makeup and jewelry?!
@Kleoptraare you HALALA CHILD from BHIKARISTAN or PORKISTAN
@@livinia296but most religious people pretend to be perfect and try to force their religious nonsense on others.
Every child is condition from day one; and it's ( primarily ) the prerogative of the parents . ....
Why don’t they have the courage of your convictions and faith …..by leaving the west and living in a Muslim country
Otherwise it’s just a token gesture…..go make your Muslim countries better
This lady should go live in the Taliban run country of Afganistan, where even a wisp of hair being seen is improper and punishable.
Part of her faith LOL especially whith all the makeup she has, I thought it was about being modest , ahh what about nails, jeans etc , they wear the thing on their heads as a provocation
The muslim lady kept interrupting. Very rude. She also had enough make up on to kill a cat! 🐱
Fahima should let her talk without interrupting. Very rude and imposing. I was listening to you Fahima and liked what you said. I agreed. But when you rudely interrupted i realized how PUSHY AND RUDE you were. Khadisha has the right to speak too. But you don't think she has a right to voice her own feelings if they differ from you.
Well said, wearing the hijab probably makes her more grumpy 😂
@@barneyrubble8590 I don't agree with that but she needs to let another person, especially a Muslim as well, speak her mind
Ah you happened to over hear that. What else did you over hear. What she made for dinner last night? Her plans for the summer.
Love how the hijab rants away, talks over the other woman and is then given the last word😂
We still have blasphemy laws, riddle me that.
Khadija, what an incredible lady, speaking up the truth ! 👏 👏
Good for you.
