Something common where I am is Ovamancy, Egg Divination. Basically you do an egg cleansing on yourself or someone else then crack the egg in water and read the images in the water to see what energies you pulled out of them and if more needs to be done from there

Love the podcast ladies, but the first tarot cards were made in Italy as play cards 😊 as form of rebellion against the church at that time ❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you!! ❤❤ so in a book I have about divination it says ‘the first recognisable cards appeared in the French courts around 1390’ xxx

But it does also say that the ancient Babylonians and Egyptian priests practiced tarot and no one really knows when the use of tarot cards first began…

when you mentioned aura reading I perked up, because before I realized I had connection to the divine I had a sense for auras and could read them since I was a very young child. it's piece of magic I love to dive more into cause I think it such a wonderful tool connect deeper with the people around me.

This reminds me of an elective in the History of Science and Technology I took during my undergrad, which did examine some older traditions and practices (spiritually and medicinally) through different cultures and time periods from a sociological angle. It's interesting that there is a heavy basis for guidance in the unknown through divination when part of the reason I started to research witchcraft was to embrace ambiguity in a whimsical way without needing certainty to fill the "gaps". 🌟

I'm going to try and find a new way to cleanse because recently I have been getting mucus flair ups when I use candles and incense. Hopefully, this issue goes away soon because I love my scented candles 😭 But I do use the Apana Vayu mudra to help cleanse/purify. For protection, I mostly call on Poseidon or Apollo to please protect me but I do visualize a protective sphere around me.
"I got to put my face on" 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 My Mom used to say that ALL the time😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I have used tarot with Yes/No questions. There are many sites that include the Yes/No meanings. I actually prefer oracle more than tarot but don't tell my mostly tarot collection 😂🤣
I feel like I'm one of the only witches that don't find their dreams to be all that magickal. I've only had a few magickal and psychic dreams. Numerology has been around for thousands of years. I actually find the term "angel numbers" kind of offencive. It's only in recent times that we call them angel numbers and that's do to Doreen Virtue. Which many of us do not like anymore. Each Ogham letter is prescribed a specific tree and usually the casting lot of that specific letter is made from that corresponding tree. Mudfish are an eel-shaped fish, Google helped 😆 Icthyomancy is a divination form where you watch the swim patterns of fish, I have not tried this but I want to! The Ancient Greeks used there alphabet as runes too. I haven't done it yet but it's interesting. Die readings were linked to Hermes in Ancient Greece.
