Listening with headphones and going on a nature walk after my coffee and pipe tobacco!!! Blessed be brothers and sisters
🙌🏼
Yay! My three favourite witches are back with another episode.
I think witches feel particularly drawn to nature because there is so much magick in it-from thunderstorms to the unfurling of a Silver fern's frond, taking the time to connect to, appreciate and learn from nature is not only rewarding and beneficial, but hugely inspirational to our craft too.
Awwww thank you 🫶🏼✨ yes, absolutely!!! Xx
Growing up I was always barefoot unless it was mandatory to wear shoes like school or stores. I still at 58 years go barefoot except when shoes are required. The first part of my day I’m walking in the grass and grounding with the earth and it is the last thing I do at night before bed and I have foraged herbs from the age of 13 for medicinal use. I have always just loved the feeling I get from connecting with nature ❤
Awww amazing, I must say I do often walk barefoot when going out into the garden ♥️ Yes, us too, it’s such a special feeling 🙌🏼
Same here, I'm always bare foot as much as I can, there is something special about feeling the earth under your feet. I'm normally in my garden at God knows what o'clock before I go to bed walking around in my garden or out in the meadow out front of my little bungalow, it feels like your releasing all the stress of the day and letting the earth take care of it all. God knows what the neighbours must think of me seeing me flouncing around my nighty 😂
100% Nature was my gateway into witchcraft. I spent countless hours among the trees and creeks growing up, and find myself still feeling most at home in the woodlands or on a quiet beach.
Ahhh same! They are such special places ♥️
Yall dont know it (well now ya do lol) but you are my only friends. Thank you
Awww Teena 🥰🫶🏼♥️ Sending you big cuddles! Xxx
@@EmbracingMagick grateful:)
Kiwi Witch here! (Your pronunciations are correct btw!)
I myself am an introvert but growing up all I wanted to do was go outside and go on wild adventures and even going back home for awhile, you cannot deny the pull of the land. There's something about it that calls to people eventually.
Currently in Australia and know I have found a family of Witches here at last ^_^
Keep doing what you do!
OH KIWI WITCH I EMBRACE YOU SISTER. Aww thank you regards pronunciation. ❤ So sweet! ❤ I totally hear your sentiments. So wonderful! XXX
Awwww I adored Australia when I lived there, I definitely didn’t want to come back to the UK at the time but if I hadn’t, I would never of started this podcast! 🤣
Yessss, love that, the call of the land! 😍
There is no such thing as weeds, these are just plants who have found a home in a different place , i always think .... another great episode - love it.
Love this!!
Loved this episode, I've just clicked to restart it so I can thoroughly take it in :)
My altar space has been packed up since February as my house has been getting rewired, I've been struggling to connect to my practice through this time, and this episode has made me remember that even though I'm a hearth witch, there's plenty of nature outside that I can go and connect to in the mean time :) I'm also inspired to go back to my plans for my garden, and add some more species to the list for purposes other than eating fruit and veg :) will do my best to use native plants :)
So glad you loved this episode and it resonated with you! Yesssss, ooooh your garden plans sound so exciting! Nature is truly wonderful!! ♥️🌿
Listened to this episode with my mum .. and we were both like so connecting with every point .. going “ o ! We do this ! “ . All the points and ways I was raised with .. brilliant episode . ( I’m HemlockTea) 😂
Awww that’s so lovely Nikkie!! Thank you for tuning in and hello to your mum ♥️♥️
There was a great program on BBC I-player a while ago (2018 i think) with Judi Dench around communing trees called "my passion for trees" , as she has a passion for them and has many in her garden as memorials to lost friends and family. And they set up with a tree expert - and listened to the trunks of the tree' s through special headphones and almost like a stethascope instrument it was amazing the sounds and also the connections between them - including how they help to heal each other.
Ahhh amazing!! Thanks for sharing, we will be sure to check it out!
Love love love this episode. I am a true green witch and love anything nature based, foraging, making my own tinctures etc. It truly is the basis for my practice. Life is so busy and we can miss so much that is happening right under our noses in nature. Being mindful and following the seasons really helps to ground me and reassure me x
Awwww love this Kate! You are a true green witch!! ♥️🫶🏼🌿🥰
This podcast episode just reminded me how much I want to learn how to contribute to community/native gardens and foraging! 💚In hindsight, it really makes sense that I would be drawn to hedge/green witchery... especially with how often I would collect leaves, acorns, seeds, shells, and more well into adulthood. 😁
Aww that’s so lovely Ruby ❤️
New witch from New Zealand here ❤ your guys podcast has been amazing and helped so much with my practice. Your wisdom is greatly appreciated 🥰 I love the respect and knowledge you all have it’s super inspiring xx
Awwww hello!! Lovely to see you over here ♥️🙌🏼 thank you so much, so glad you’re enjoying it! Xx
I actually looked at y'all account this morning for a new episode ❤
♥️♥️♥️♥️
When the pandemic started and I was locked at home I started crocheting and walking in my local woods and parks collecting twigs, leafs, flowers and other gifts of nature. I started making decorations from them and I think that is when I understood something that I probably knew all the time - I'm a witch.
Awwwww love this 😍🫶🏼✨
@@EmbracingMagick Thank you. Unfortunately I don't have anyone that share my interest in magic, so Im happy I found you girls.
@@BastetTheCat0 Aww we are happy to connect with you 🖤
hello! i just found your podcast recently and wanted to say that it's been so good for me. i had your "introduction to witchcraft: our stories" episode playing in my ear to help me through a nerve-wracking dental procedure. since then, i've gotten into the routine of listening on my way to and from work, and not only am i learning a lot from the three of you (and getting some good laughs at the humor), but i'm getting more in tune with my craft and spirituality. thank you so much for sharing your insights and making it accessible to us on UA-cam. ❤
Awww thank you so much for your lovely comment, it means a lot to us! ❤️
@@EmbracingMagick my pleasure! :)
Forgot to mention the bit about the elder trees being cut down . It made me and my mum wince , we both looked at each other and said “ o no ! The workmen ! “ .. we make from the elder every year and always ask the elder hag first before taking .
I knowwww, I gasped when he told me!!! I adore Elder, so sacred xxx
@@EmbracingMagick made me think of the place in Ireland where the workmen refused to cut down the rowen trees for the motorway and in the end they had to build it round them … the Irish know 😌x
@@boobookfnikkie they know!!!!
@@EmbracingMagick yuuup ! They knooow 😊
Ah, pesto. I like marjoram and pine nuts mashed with olive oil and Parmesan. I add a little heavy cream to make a sauce and serve it with a flat pasta😋
Oooooohh yummmm!! Yes please!
As to the final topic, when I moved from the NE of the US, to the south, it took me years to adjust. I have always relished the winter downtime. Reflect, recharge and planning time. I am an avid gardener. In the south, you barely get a good nap in before you are back in the busy time.
Awww yes winter downtime is wonderful! 😍♥️
You have captured my essence you gorgeous divine ladies. I am blessed to live next to the ocean on one side and the country/woodlands + mountains on the other on the South Coast of NSW in Australia. I loved this episode as you have inspired me with some ideas for a nature creative workshop I am creating for late October this year. Love your work and appreciate that you share your knowledge 💚🏵💚 Blessings, Sandi (The Creative Wild Child 🌸
Awww wow, sounds absolutely divine where you live 😍 your workshop sounds wonderful, you’re welcome!! Thank you so much, lovely to meet you ♥️♥️🌿
Lovely! 🌳🌲🍄🌿

It’s Felix from Malta. The under ground temple is the Hal Saflieni Hypogium. The under ground one in Gozo is the Brogdorf circle.
Yes, that’s right! I didn’t know there was an underground temple in Gozo though, I’ve only been to the Ggantija temples.
Was wondering if this episode was going to be uploaded to Spotify as well? Love falling asleep to these and Spotify has the sleep timer option :)
It definitely will Abbey! Just waiting for the audio! :) xxxx
How could anyone say “ugh” to nettle?? It’s one of the best anti-inflammatory plants there are in Europe. My polish roots are screaming 😂
✨️✨️✨️
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! That's so much true, that nature is crucial for our body, mind and soul health. And for our awakening as wild women and witches.
It would be interesting to listen to your views on ecological approach and lifestyle in whichcraft, sustainability, zero waste and so on.
💞
I think we mention sustainability quite a bit in our tools episode, it’s something that’s quite important to all of us… but will definitely think about how we could maybe do a whole episode on it! ❤️❤️
Do u recommend a particular brand of mushrooms?
This Toni from the podcast. Yes, Bristol Fungarium are excellent and I use Lions Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps, Chaga and Turkey Tail. But if I was to pick one, I'd say Lions Mane.
