2023 comment: Love this idea! 2024 Edit: I am so happy I found your channel today. I made this card a year ago but didn’t send it out. I came across it yesterday and loved it so much that I’m sending it to my sister for her birthday. I just couldn’t remember how I did the color or where I got the idea. It was you!! Thanks so much for showing this fabulous technique.
Hi Ellen - These cards really did turn out lovely. I was looking at one yesterday, thinking I needed to so some more of them. Do you want to see another video perhaps?
Hi Nonie - Don't you love this technique?! It never fails to amaze me with the results you get. Thanks for the autumn card suggestion! I can just envision it in my mind - how Beautiful!!
You are so welcome Becky! Those cards were lovely and very well received! It's really amazing what you can do with a little white scrap, some foam tape and a little spacing...
I have enjoyed this series of using up your scraps so much! I use some scraps from time to time, but never thought to use scraps only to make a card. Thanks for opening up a new technique for me/us.❤
I decided about a year and a half ago to make a concerted effort to use up my scraps. It amazes me that I still find scraps when I reach for paper that I haven't used in a while. It never ends!
I agree Dawn - that set will never leave my studio for sure! I think the thing that really makes these cards stand out from the crowd is the foam lift under the strips and just that little bit of spacing. They certainly a great way to use white scrap!!!
You are so welcome - That technique never disappoints!! And it always gives different results. And it's a great way to use up some white scraps!!! YAY!!
I am so glad I found your video. The card you made is beautiful. I have lots of whie paper scraps to make my cards. Thank you for sharing the technique you showed us. Can't wait to get started.🤗👍
Oh those cards are absolutely a favorite of mine. There are some other white scrap videos on the channel if you want to do some backwatching. Here is a recent one - ua-cam.com/video/PmnDcG_4JCk/v-deo.html
Hi Julia.... I have only just learned of you, and I quickly subscribed to your channel. I have never done inking with baby wipes, but I sure will now! I have learned new things from you (ex. using napkins, scraps, embellishments and now baby wipes) and I am looking forward to learning some more. Thanks, and keep the door open.
Hi Valda and Welcome to my channel! There is a lot of great content on the channel if you feel like backwatching. I am currently in the middle of a major move, so won't be posting until Spring 2024. Be sure and check out our corresponding facebook page if you like! And have a very Merry Christmas!!
I just found your channel a few weeks ago and am soaking it up! You do such amazing techniques, tips and tricks and I’m enthralled!! I’m not finding any new videos done in the last year and I’m praying you are ok and still crafting. I told my sister about you and she’s avidly trying a lot of your techniques also.
Hi Rita - Welcome to My Channel I'm glad you're here. I try to put out a new video Sunday afternoon (USA Time). There is plenty of content on the channel to back watch if you're interested - So, Come Back Soon!!
All 5 scrap videos have been extremely inspirational. I have so many scraps to use and now I know I can make some lovely cards. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hi Rosemary and Welcome to My Channel. I am so glad you are inspired to use some of your scraps! Honestly I think scrap cards are very rewarding and some of the prettiest cards. Happy Crafting and Come Back Soon!! Julia
All your tutorials are do fun to watch. I havent done the baby wipe splatter technique yet, so thank you for that😁 BTW your intermittent giggle is so darling!! 😂
Hi Betty - Thank you! I hope you will try this technique - it works equally well with small drops of ink refill. I love making these videos to share my craft and it is a bit self entertaining I guess because I find myself having this conversation with all of you like you are there. But acutally it's just me and myself - and of course Cordellia!
Hi Dawn - This is a very satisfying technique. It never disappoints and always is a bit unique in the out come. Those cards were so well received! I hope you try it soon. BTW - Did you see the Card Challenge results using this video from the facebook group? Here is a link if you missed it. ua-cam.com/video/Gc5eP-Bv1X4/v-deo.html
The baby wipe technique is new to me and I want to give it a try. I saw paper crimpers on Amazon, not Fiskars but other brands, if anyone wants to look for one. The cards are stunning. I especially like the one on the blue cardstock.
You can use ink refills just as well you don't need the colorburst. But if you happen to have them, then go for it! This technique has never failed to give amazing results!
LOL - Nope! But I was introduced to stamping through a friend that was a REALLY good SU customer. Most of my collection has been bought used through ebay. I have a lot of other company stamps as well. Way too many stamps!!!!!
really enjoyed this series even though I have not gotten into card making yet but lots of ideas you have shared thank u so much for all the great cards
I will have to try this with the baby wipes. Looks like fun. I have just cut up all my white scraps into more usable sizes of paper, but the bin is pretty big and so I must do something.
I keep mine cut down too. And whenever my little tray starts to get full, I work them out. It's too overwhelming if I let them go...I think white scraps must be related to rabbits LOL!!!
You are so welcome Mariette! These cards really were a lovely way to use up white paper scraps. And just that little foam behind each strip really added so much!
Hi Helen - Oh those were some that I just hate to see go in the mail! But I can always make some more!! Welcome to My Channel - There is a lot of content here if you want to back watch. Also, I try to put out a new video Sunday afternoon (USA time) - So Come Back Soon!
Hi Elva - I am so glad you like these. It is one of my favorite techniques and you can use your fluid ink refills just as well. The concept is the same. Baby wipe technique has been around for years and I'm sure there are some other great videos for inspiration. But never fear - you will see it again on this channel. I've never had it fail - unless you mix too much ink and it goes to brown. Then just toss it and start again!
I have never seen this technique before and let me tell you I love it! I can't believe what beautiful paper you created just from scraps! I don't have any flower punches but I'm going to start looking for some now as well as some flower dies! I can't wait to try this technique! Thank you again for sharing this with us! I am also super excited to have found your channel!!!
Thanks Val - I love these punches and they've been around quite a while. Baby wipe technique was popular 6 - 10 years ago, and you know how trends come and go. It's just good to have in your toolbox to use for scrap white papers. Take care and come back soon!
Thank you for more ways of using our scraps. I have seen the baby wipe technique before but never used it. I love the way you used it and am going to give it a try. 🇦🇺🐞
You are so welcome! I absolutely love this technique. You can use ink refills as well, just put little dots of different colors on the babywipe. It uses up white paper scraps wonderfully!!
Hi Linda - I'm glad you found this one for sure - these cards were just lovely and so much fun to make! Welcome to the channel - There is lots of content on the channel to back watch if you like. And I try to put out a new video every Sunday afternoon (USA time) - so come back soon!

@SeniorSusieStamps yes they do I tried it today but I don't have a baby wipes so tried it with paper towel but I don't like the result I'll tried it again..
Great ideas Julia!! I’m sorry to say I have a huge box of white scraps, but yayyyy, I can use them to stamp sentiments on!Sounds like a good rainy day project in front of the tv!!! Hugs! Tina 🥰❤️
I have very little white scraps - perhaps because of the way I cut my card blanks. And they stay on my desk in a very handy spot to pull out of...Have a great week - talk soon!
Oh Sylvia Thank You and Welcome to my Channel! I posted a follow up video to this one yesterday which used up the rest of the baby wipe tray. It is a great way to use up white scraps for sure! Happy Crafting and Come Back Soon!! ua-cam.com/video/jYqVKDXSCKE/v-deo.html

Hi Julia, I love these cards! And I have this set with the punch. I hate to admit that I have not used it more than once but this is a great way to make the flowers. I have seen this technique but never used the wipes with the colour bursts which I also have. Unfortunately, I have been very sick so will try this at some point. I would also like to see how you use your washi tape as you mentioned at the end. Thanks a bunch for all your great ideas! I think my fav was the card with the white flowers and I even have the little flower punch you use in the centre of some. Take care, be well. 😘 ❤️🇨🇦
Oh Mary Lynn - I am so very sorry to hear you are ill. It saps your energy and creativity doesn't it? Isn't it wonderful that we have UA-cam and can still enjoy our craft passively? I will try to add some of the washi idea in a future video, but basically you make 6 inch strips out of it and can pull and use just like banners. Get better soon so you can get back in your Happy Place!
Love this!! Such cheerful cards! I have color bursts I don't use nearly often enough. I like the idea of using baby wipes in here, too. I'm also thinking of paper towels that have an embossed design, also, and spritzing with water really well before adding the color bursts.
Hi Cindy - Glad you liked it - I just thought it would be fun to try and it worked out. I am still using up those last few sheets of ink I pulled off. Happy Crafting and Come Back Soon!
Beautiful, love your videos, such beautiful cards you make :) I'm wondering if drops of watercolor paints would have the same effect ..... might try that tomorrow :)
Hi there Julia. 😀 This was such an interesting tutorial on how to use up white cardstock scraps. I noticed that you threw away the lighter weight cardstock, but I can make use of them. You can stamp a sentiment on that cardstock, and if isn't thick enough punch out several more (3 to 5) of the same shape, and glue the layers together to make a thicker chipboard style sentiment. It is easy and fun to do, and using up more of your scraps! Julia, your cards were absolutely beautiful in fact quite stunning. 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼 I am intrigued by the baby wipe technique to make your own customised ink pad, and each time it would be different. How long does it take before the baby wipe, and ink dries, and were your inks water based? Have a blessed day, and happy crafting... love and hugs. Gloria 🥰💕🌸🌺🌼🌺🌸💕
Hello Gloria - Hope your day is going well! I do use some of my lighter weight white. Just not the 1/4 inch pieces and especially not for picking up ink. It just doesn't hold up. The baby wipe technique works well with any water based ink. Today I was using Ken Oliver Colour Burst, but have used liquid ink refills in the past. I will finish the mix for today's video on Butterfly cards (hopefully I have enough time to get it filmed and edited). I have not found drying out to be a problem because I use it for several days and the colors blend too much. There is a point of no return...and having said that I always try to start out with the theory that less is best, you can always add a bit more to satisfy. But once you get to much mix the party is over! Have a great week and we'll talk soon! Julia
I have found several on line since making this. The old Fiskars that I have has aluminum crimping rollers and is quite substantial. Not sure about the newer ones...
Hi Paula - I purchase a box at a time from Tape Depot -Sometimes you have to fiddle with it on the feed spool, but generally I find it works great! Be sure you order the correct spool - (Look for "Pink Glider") Here is the link... www.tapedepot.com/product/standard-atg-tape-56720/

Hi there Julia. 😀
This was such an interesting tutorial on how to use up white cardstock scraps.
I am intrigued by the baby wipe technique to make your own customised ink pad, and each time it would be different. How long does it take before the baby wipe, and ink dries, and were your inks water based?

But once you get to much mix the party is over! Have a great week and we'll talk soon! Julia
That’s beautiful, but if I don’t have the stamp, I can just cut the images an after that put them on the ink right?
I think that would work just fine Elizabeth! And it might give another dimension too!!
You can buy the corigater on line. It has changed its name to a crimper🐞🇦🇺
I have found several on line since making this. The old Fiskars that I have has aluminum crimping rollers and is quite substantial. Not sure about the newer ones...
I can use my tube paint crimper to crimp my heavy paper. Perhaps crafters can get a crimper at an art supply store.
Great idea Ruth! Thank you!
Fun card! Where do you find refills for your atg adhesive? I am having problems finding it.
