This was an excellent that increases my confidence buying my first ebike. I'm so glad I found it this morning. Your presentation, style, editing, and organization are all top tier! I need an ebike that can ride uneven, hilly, cobblestone roads with some degree of grace. The information in this video has been very helpful. Thank you.
Thank you so much I’ve been riding a crappy cheap bike for a while I did have a cheap e-bike but it didn’t suite my needs. I’ve been wanting to get exercise but also go for a fun fast joyride, and you guys really helped with that thanks!
Hi, good video, I just bought my New Fox20 E Bike from a local E Bike shop in my city. It's all custom with a side mirror, Fedog™ horn/alarm, INWA™blue tooth speaker for music, bottle holder with a Thermal bottle, a flat key steel bike U-Lock, CarryBright™front and rear turn signals (it already came with front and rear lights with break lights), a HOMCOM™Moped Trunk, a personalized 'JOE' bicycle license plate and a suspension seat from my old scooter. I use a VCAN™Helmet with a Face Visor most of the time and VCAN™ Open Face Helmet for warm days.
Hello new friends. I recently decided to go car-free. So far it's been good - most of what I need is nearby and I can walk. But there are a few places that are up to five miles away and an eBike might help there. I found your video to be concise and very informative. I had no idea what factors to consider and your video laid it out succinctly and in detail. Thanks much!
Great, wish I had watched this before ordering my bike, pretty sure the one I have ordered to TOO tall in the stand over height. Will have to exchange if possible.
Great review, really enjoyed the information as I’m strongly considering one of your bikes. And it was great to see some of the locations my beautiful home town of Saskatoon again.
before NYCE went out of biz they sent me a Large . I didn't know until 2 weeks of riding and batt was loose. told them it was loose and i order Medium . they sent a 2nd Batt and an 800 usd refund . The size suddenly did not matter in this case . the advent and popularity of 1 size-fits-all E-scrambler says size ain't such a big deal too . as a avid acoustic biker its clear that a Lot of meaningful adjustment can be done with Stem , Bars ,Saddle and Post. Especially if the Price and Power is Right
I’ve been looking for a e-bike for several months, but It’s so confusing to find right bike and what size do I need with my hight 5”5’ and inseam 29.5cm is daunting experience . because this is my very first e-bike and I prefer lightweight, easy sliding in&out with folding bike for leisurely use. Thanks for useful info and will checkout your website for the prices.👍
Yes buying an ebike can be quite daunting. Feel free to book a no-obligation call with our ebike experts at www.biktrix.com/pages/virtual-showroom-video-call
It’s not that difficult but you better have the right wrenches with you. 45 minutes from start to finish and back riding. That’s removing the battery, taking the seat off and loosening the controls on the handlebar so you don’t bugger them up when you turn the bike upside down. It might be a little daunting for some people I guess. If you’re going to ride you better be prepared to repair.
Great video and nice produced, at the same time, even though it clearly wasn't supposed to be a scientific tests, and it's hard to spec all bikes similarly, but IMO it would be better to make a single biker test all motors and with a power measurement ideally in the pedals
My bike: A folding e-cargo mid motor (750+watt) bike with dual battery capability and a wheel size of 26"-700C all terrain riding; Purpose; Bike Touring/Travel combined with camping: Self Supported Bike Touring. I have not found this type of bike yet :(. (And I know your SIDE will steal this idea from me :(.
I wanted to know how long the batteries will last and will I be able to purchase more in the near future. without the ability to purchase batteries the investment will be worthless. manufactures are always coming out with new models. I want my bike to last 10 - 15 years, minimum!!! It is a big investment.
The only advice I can give don't buy any e-bike with a motor of 250W. No way! Don't believe ones who tell you it has 'enough power to assist riding uphill', cause it's a lie. Maybe, some bikes made of titanium alloy and having some hidden features in their motors can, but not ones with price around £1000. Never! For this money all you'll get is a heavy piece of metal as twice heavier as normal bike, or even more, which gives you absolutely no assistance as soon as you meet some steep hill. I hope the one who declared 250W e-bike the only legal in UK, he'll ride one heavy 250W bike in hell, forever, cause he really deserves it.
If you get a touring ebike with a rear rack you can get huge panniers to carry groceries. Up to 55 pounds weight easily. If that's not big enough a cargo bike best.
That was really well done. One of the best explanations I have seen. Congrats. I have 5 ebikes so I can confirm what you are saying.

Best ebike channel. Well edited and straight foward
A great video. I learnt a lot about choosing a right bicycle for me.

Welcome to the eBike life!
I am in the market for a new ebike.... This answers a lot of questions. Outstanding video.
Thanks so mucj. This is exactly the video I was searching for, especially the part about the size and frame. Well done.
Not much discussion about serviceability. Many bike shops can’t/won’t service e-bikes unless they have a Shimano or Bosch motor.
That sure helps making the decision! Tks
Great, wish I had watched this before ordering my bike, pretty sure the one I have ordered to TOO tall in the stand over height. Will have to exchange if possible.
Amazing video, helped me learn a lot.
great video! thank you for helping on sizing the bikes! that was super helpful

Do another video showing how easy it is to change a flat (rear on rear hub models) when out on the road. That will change a few people's minds.

Haha great point!
very good explanation. Thanks
Fantastic video, guys. Thanks for posting.

No mention of cost; seems odd.

Looking at buying a step thru. What are the prices?
Well done Bikrrix.

Great video
So for my hill that is more like going up the side of a mountain. I’d need A MORE POWA BABY
Everything equal, which is more expensive, hub drive or mid drive?
But the motors are not equal. The torque ratings are substantially different
Mid drive is more expensive

Can anybody recommend an e bike for groceries? I have a super market near me sou i just using it for that
From my research it sounds like a cargo style E bike would be what you want.

Awesome video with much to consider. I have had a telephone conversation with Biktrix and mulling over if I can afford one right now. Thanks!
Que buen video carajuu
Good info.😊
👍🏻
Why do people never raise the SEAT!!! On these bikes.. .....
Some people are more comfortable with seat lowered down.
