I know these are shorter content videos but it would be cool to see you fish all these baits/tips like actually go to the different areas you pick on a map and then apply the baits you’re suggesting. I’m sure that would be pretty time consuming. Would be cool to see though.
Haha... I wouldn't hold your breath getting that content from him. You would have better luck getting the recipe for coke cola than fine details of his set ups and how it works it.
Good tip on covering water in fall transition ..finding em is key..a lot days I get stuck with a jig in my hand till later evening or morning early and mix em both maybe to much with the jig ..might be best to cover water first more and find em then slow down with the jig or creature bait ..like a square bill shallow too
Hey J Dub! Another great video. You never showed us up close on what you were bending on the buzzbait with your needle nose pliers. Was it the flat part of the rivet? Did you bend it toward the blade?
What was the action on your first 7ft MH rod with the buzz bait? It looked really soft with an extremely parabolic load up. Was it a moderate? Moderate fast? And on your buzz bait, did it have a clacker or do you like buzz with a clacker?
Solid video Jacob! Just got back from a trip to the river systems of Apalachicola Florida where we smashed 'em on a War Eagle Spot Remover Spinnerbait. Looking forward to some Master Class content for sure (still waiting on an in-depth frog series after that Froggin' 101 video you dropped).
Bro, pro tip 😂 try a blue bellows gill as a trailer. Last two weeks it’s been magic. Don’t think many people are throwing them and they have a real solid profile to see from below and to inhale on the hit.
The spinner bait feels like my ATV bait, throw it anywhere any water type any time of year. Might have to change your blades or size but spinner bait rocks
What about a chatterbait in the month of September? Do you find they work well? I have some buzz baits. I'm going to try them as well for the trailer on them
@@hawkeyefishguy I have both. One is a small finesse swimbait on a jighead and the other is a glide bait. Both are very different and good options this time a year
So you don’t ever use a trailer hook on spinnerbaits or buzzbaits? I’ve gone to them 100 percent of the time, catch several only on the trailer hook. Preciate the info my man.more bassin n less deer huntin this fall for me!!

Great advice even tho I'm in BLS this helped me a lot, do you have any advice for clear water sandy bottom with grass?
I love the content and appreciate all the tips. I’d like to see you do some more bank fishing competition with the DING boys. Always fun to watch
You can cast all you want J Dub thank you for the baits and the places to try them. Here for all of it. Congratulations on another AOY.
Dude………… your video’s are Awesome! You are a GREAT young man! ( I can tell) Thank you JW! I am following you now 👍
Buzzbait season, lets go!👍
One bait I like this time of the year is a DT6 in the back half of the creeks awesome!
Don’t give up the juice
@@steveahle9921 that’s a great way to catch them. I really like doing this in October
Great tips. Thanks!
I take all my buzz baits and remove the aluminum rivet off and replace it with a steel then rust it with vinegar and water and the chirp is insane
@@Glock-1 that’s a good idea!
@@WheelerFishingare you going to give it a shot?
I do agree with Jacob though.
Thanks for these tips Jake will give those baits a shot on the pond or lake hoping for some tight lines 👍🏻🎣
@@garyplowman5838 my pleasure! Good luck out there.

what would you throw upper mississippi near lacrosse, wisconsin? also what areas should i be looking to target? thanks
Another question I got for you Jake about chatterbaits do you have any favorite colors that you like to use or do you use any color?
@@JoshuaDriver-c9m I typically stay to a translucent shad color this time of year or green pumpkin because most places I fish are cleaner.
@@WheelerFishing thank you
I think you forgot 1 go-to Indiana bass fishing bait. The hollow tube on a jig head type hook
Hey JW when ya coming back to MN for the private Hammer Hole derby!! Scott needs a partner buddy 😁
What jig head are you using on the swimbaits?
