Great video. Very helpful. A red laser highlighter would be very helpful in helping us newbies to understand and identify the structure you are referring to. Thx for sharing!
Definitely going to come in handy as I start breaking down Kentucky and Barkley for the first time in the morning! I’m decent at SI, but stuff like this is always money to go over again and again for those of us that get on the water maybe a couple of times a month!
Great video, would be even greater to see more examples of what the fish look like on side imaging. I know I'm not the only one that struggles with spotting the actual fish on side imaging. On another note, picked up my LX20 last week. Amazing doesn't begin to explain how good the boat truly is. Everything I imagined and more.
Well done, Jacob! More great teaching! I really enjoy finding structure and finding fish on my electronics. The truth be known, I would rather find fish than catch fish.
Come to falls lake nc if u like fishing better than catching,75% of my time fishing not catching anything, been fish offshore struture since 1988 deep cranking Carolina rig, been fishing falls lake nc since it started to flood from river to a lake, the fishing is 10% catching 90% looking, used to be oppsite,if u no u no ifu don't u dont,no mangement,bs slot limit, idiot controlling water level these days,Noone cares, they think lake full of bass because they want here in 1980-2011,gone to shit since then compared to wat it was,I love falls lake I'm retired fish alot, just wish more guys would speak up to wildlife about stocking,I tried they laugh at me,strippers are gone since 1994 after Fran they disapered ,people have kept so many white bass they running that to,if u no u no if u don't u dont no a dam thing to start with,to many fishe eaters
What I wanna see more of is not the cover I feel that's easier but bass on si..I've seen some pics of has shown of bass on si an I would've never known or seen them because not all of them have shadows so maybe take lil more time an show bass on si not just one view but several scenarios I feel that's what we look over or miss
How can you tell the difference between bass and say walleye or drum fish and how they relate to the water coulmn? Another video like this to explain it would be much appreciated thanks.
Now I need to know how to spot fish on side scan. It's so tiny I'm always squinting trying to spot them and I just can't tell. I also use a Lowrance Hook 7". I don't have a big screen.
You mean except for this one... LOL what a loooooser. I didn't like the vid either. He assumes you can keep up with the cursor which. Most can't. Most done even know the dark center also shows depth contour like the downscan. Jacob is too much of a 'fast-talker' for us southern hicks.h
I love this type of teaching videos. Thanks Jacob. Maybe next time we could see what bass looks like. Thanks again
Extremely helpful, especially the small brushpile.

Really good one ! Thanks for sharing!
Jacob, this video definitely helped me to understand the side imaging. Thanks.
I'd like to see more of these on the water instruction videos.

Going to take a while to break down that much water lol I live down here
@ Haha yessir I’m going to just focus on some areas and see what happens!
You'll see plenty of carp, it's still really tough to catch a bass, I hear every year it's getting better, but I wouldn't say that.
Thanks Jacob. Very helpful for someone new to this.
Love sonar videos. Thanks Jacob 👍

Great video, talk about how fish use creek channels/contours to travel and there migration throughout the year. Thanks

Love the video super helpful
Is a ditch and a drain the same thing? If not, what is a drain? Thanks for the video it was helpful.
Excellent - would love more in depth on specially bass on side scan.
Do you recommend running downscan next to sidescan to help understand the picture better?

Road beds get me lol
I didn’t think you used side imaging since you have sonar
Boat anchor!!!!
The Duckett/Wheeler fishing rod stopped me from watching anymore of your videos.
