Autism, at least on the high functioning end, actually is an improvement to the base model of humanity. It trades substantial amounts of empathy for improved cognition.

Autism reduces the capacity of the empathetic system in the more primitive part of the brain. Which controls things like being able to understand non-verbal communication. I know quite well what I am talking about.

Of the two only the latter would display an actual inborn cognitive advantage, since one of the differences is that Sociopaths and created by enviroment and Psychopath are the result of predetermined genetic factors. It is also worth noting that Sociopaths are more likely to commit crimes than Psycopaths. The two are often considered interchamgable by those who don't understand.
