@@Jimmyxsx and the bad thing about the Raptor R is that it will be limited in production and hard to even have the opportunity to buy. Much less, the $150K price tag it is going to have. At least with Mopar, you can go into a dealership, order a Ram TRX, and can have it in 6 months or less at MSRP. Ford doesn’t know how to take care of their customers.
The amount of control on that jump was really impressive. wasnt even phased by it, just kept going.

The Original Bronco was already beating the Rubicon in most things if you watch the TFL test so the raptor will basically just finish the job.

I was excited for the Bronco. I was something else entirely for the Bronco Raptor.

Same here!! I'm tired of this $10-$20K markups!! Ford has to realize how many potential customers their losing by allowing this. I'm not paying $100K for an $80K vehicle.

I built an 87 Bronco and am stoked with it The Raptor Trick had 13"front &13.9"rear wheel travel suspention on good FOX shocks. My build has 18"front and 19" rear on King Shocks I ordered and bought from Brett King. I Gusseted and plated and biult the radius arm to beam connwctions stronger. Lots more of ccourse gears lockers axles trans and I rebuilt my transfer case. drive shfts etc.... I changed the front end to the 96 lights grill core support snd spindles. Brakes and power heads exaust stereo. Glass fenders bedsides hood hi amp alt lights winch etc,,,

Entirely different engine, the 3.0 has been used in the explorer for quite some time now, with lots of people tuning them to 500hp, hopefully these are a little stronger than even those

These new Broncos are about as capable as a Rubicon for crawling technical terrain. They will simply outrun a Rubicon on high-speed terrain. I like their aesthetics too.
I'll probably still buy a Wrangler Unlimited though. The Wrangler coilspring suspension can accept airbags for towing a 3000lb boat without sagging.
The bronco is coilovers in the rear as well, with a 4500lb towing capacity
@@kalebkukawski2820 Coilovers won't accept airbags. Broncos only tow 3500lb, like the Wrangler Unlimited, except for the Raptor edition, which tows considerably more.

@@SandBar1998 The Wrangler front solid axle and trackbar-dependent suspension isn't ideal for high speeds, regardless of how much power the engine makes.
The 392 is just macho BS on Stellantis' part. It didn't even increase the towing capacity of the Unlimited. A 5.7L and Gladiator Max Tow underpinnings would have made more sense, if they were actually going for improved functionality/utility, rather than just showboating.
Some people care more about image than actual substance.

The 392 has a limited travel doesn't compare to the 14 inch travel , 37 inch tyres and wide track of the raptor

392 has a solid front axle, superior in rough rock sections, atrticulates! It won’t be a jumper or as good as high speed stuff as Raptor but will be much stronger. They are built for different things. If Ford really wanted to go after Jeep the Bronco would have a solid front axle like the original did. Rock crawlers and people who really wheel know this. Would probably be better off with a high performance side by side than a Raptor, and WAY cheaper too for high speed stuff.
@@thomassanio8745 man 392 articulates no where compared to raptor doesn't matter even if it has solid axle , plus everything is stronger in raptor , the bigger tyres , wider track , articulation makes raptor better than any jeep , sorry there is no jeep that can compete with raptor be it in high speed baja ,jumping dunes and rock crawl .

Not the raptor. But the 2.7l. Mines fine. Over 11k miles with quite a few off road trips

Why take all the youtubers out for a ride when you could take the guys out there thinking about one but then spending their money on something they know like an AT4 because they just don't trust a Ford. Put some of these people behind the wheel and you might sell more

Some of the vehicles are great and some of them are junk. The Bronco so far from launch to reliability has been an absolute failure. Plus, that vacuum cleaner exhaust is hideous
Stop. The bronco is one of the coolest new vehicles in a longggg time. And a few issues out of the gate doesn’t make it a failure. Nice try tho. Jeeps are just too played out now. Like for real, they are just boring at this point.
