FUN-J all the way! The fact that thing is just a little above stock and is representing for the rest of us nickel and dime doers, the XJ just proved even a modest build with skill and guts can get it done.
I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 WJ. I really enjoy this car! I don't use it for crawling... LOL. I am amazed on how capable these WJs are. Great Job with the video.
Hey Bleepys, This video is hilarious. I love all the “trash talk” Alpha male spotters for the win. Also favorite part “Hand built myself in my garage, Crate Axles & bolts on parts” 🤣 Unibody’s for the win!🎉
The XJ's performance was no surprise to me. My white AMC '87 XJ 5sp with factory Dana 44 was stolen off my driveway in 2019 by means of a silent flat bed hired by druggies. I only had 31s on mine and wheeled everything except Pritchett and Rusty Nail. The untouched 4L had 285,000 miles on it. Stellantis keeps trying to re-invent the wheel selling $70,000 Mall crawlers. I'm not holding my breath for anything as useful, capable, endurable, economical, comfortable and easy to work on as an XJ. There's simply no profit in continuing to build such a vehicle. Six months after it was stolen my XJ ended its life in a gang war all shot up. It was insured, but not replaceable.
The XJ ALL DAY LONG 🤠👍 I had the same setup on my 2000 XJ and there's nothing quite like seeing the looks on people's faces who are on 37" or bigger getting outdone by a cheap box on 33"s with the 30-35 setup still... great driving and the kiddo impressed me as well, reminds me of my daughter driving mine 🤠👍
With the Bronco struggles, I think half of it was driver error. But happy the Bronco buster parts are helping it become more capable (less broken parts)
I think the xj was amazing. And I love how the bronco kept beeping at him after the roll over. Kinda like a woman telling you. I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THAT. LOL. I think you guys did a great job on the wj build. And Josh rocket the trail. Love the channel thanks.
That’s great. I did a late 1980’s Arkansas Jeep Jamboree in a stock 1984 Cherokee Chief. I sent it up every obstacle the lifted tricked out jeeps went. I had to replace the motor (pitiful 2.8 GM) after but it was worth it.
That XJ blowed my mind, just imagine if it had the same setup as the ZJ. I’d say the XJ won just smoother and more one hit wonders and with a D35 W🤯W…🤙
For all those Bronco bashers out there.....just know that Tyler the guy driving Bronc Buster is one heck of a good guy. I met the man and his wife at Bronco Super Celebration in April and we spoke about his rollover. He had nothing but great things to say about Matt and Josh. He is doing the best he can with what Ford gave us Bronco folks. Having fun with Bronco/Jeep bashing is part of the fun, but there is no need for some of the hateful comments I read. Matt, I love what you guys do at Bleepin Jeep. I hope you realize what a really good guy Tyler is.
Ohh ya, he was great! It's all in good fun and we had a great time. You just have to let the commentors be commentors. Bashing on Broncos is just a jeep thing 😁
What does his personality, driving skills or his wife have to do with the fact that the Ford Bronco is an overpriced (even $ more than Jeep is) joke waiting to happen? The real joke is... Only Lightning McQueen can do better KA-Chow tire spits than the Ford Bronco. Tie rods, kinda important. I know things break on everything, but that is a dangerous trend through the brand.
"A DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN XJ HISTORY" UNFUCKINBELIEVABLE ! The unstoppable Unibody, Dana 35, 600$ lift kit w/optional Allen Wrench 🔧 Making me want to go backwards, I'm not buying XJ number 7 😂 but G.D. that sucker was unstoppable on 33s, Excellent Video 👍
Great vid, one of the most challenging trails. Have to give it to the XJ on stock diff’s, lunchbox lockers and 33”s!! I never would of believed it 😂, honestly blown away.
I’m sorry Josh, but it’s XJ all the way. The owner of that XJ is the true representative of blue dollar wheeling. Minimal spend, build itvwith what you have (his full hydro from a tractor ram - niiiiiice!). Josh’s built is great and capable, but I’d like to see the $ tally on it, and the XJ did almost everything on 33’, Dana 35s, OX lockers and a reasonable lift. I’m « new » in this Jeep thing (leased a 2019 Sahara Altitude that I just bought off at the end fo the lease, with stock axles and open diffs) and it gives me hope that I could improve on my Jeep to be able to have moderate fun at a budget prices. I’m starting to think that I might get away with keeping the small axles as long as I’m not acting stupid on the trail and taking more that the Jeep (and driver!) canchew.
I think Josh did the best in his amazing WJ, followed by "the little energizer XJ that could kept going & going & going", then the JK that should've done a lot better & the expensive underperforming (IMO) Bronco bringing up the rear. Thanks for the amazing video & the always funny & entertaining commentary!!1
I really like the pin lock feature. And all the other options. But I think the pin lock and turn assist are my favorites! Thanks for making a great video!
Great video ... watched the entire thing - I've got a new Bronco, so I was obviously rooting for Tyler and the BroncBuster - it hurt my soul a bit when he ended up on his roof, and then the tie rod at the end was just insult to injury ... but I gotta give it up to the WJ - that thing is a BEAST... but for absolute style and points to the underdog - the XJ wins, no doubt. That was impressive as hell. Great job everyone.
Also a new Bronco owner here. Shout out to Tyler for putting his Bronco through its paces. I’m totally new to off-roading and a good while off from putting mine through such extreme courses. For me, I thought a bit more patience in “rearing” the Bronco would have gone a long way to preventing a rollover, but nevertheless I benefited from watching this video!! I think overall the XJ took the day! Great driving and what a beast! I’m very proud of my Bronco but won’t be putting a “Jeep Eater” graphic on it anytime soon. Great video!!!
Considering the difficulty of the trail, the XJ wins, but the WJ is a beast. I was impressed by the Bronco, but, Jeep eater seems a stretch. Good job on all of them.
That was the most XJ thing I've ever heard: only needed the winch to fix the steering.. XJ & WJ dominated. Their wheelbase and driver skill made the difference.
I could never spend big coin on a off road rig knowing I could roll it. This is why I picked up a 1980 FJ for 3k for bashing. Great video and Poor Bronco!
I build Explorers and early Broncos. I have a friend I wheel with that has an XJ all cut to pieces, welded diffs and stock axles on 31s and he makes a lot of JK and buggy drivers very angry. I would do the same back when I wheeled my Explorer the same way on IFS, welded diffs, 33's, and lots of weight reduction. Brings me back to my roots to wheel cheap rigs like that. @@1one3_Racing ’m not into off-roading but I like these videos. Serious question here. Rock crawling puts a lot of wear and tear car not to mention damage. Why would you buy a new car to do this instead of modifying an older one. Where damaging it, isn’t such a big deal?
@javiersilva1577 because he makes parts for it and it's advertising.
Because people have too much money.
Because people don't care about how their vehicle looks.
Lots of reasons.

I am always amazed at what those old XJs can do. That driver was excellent too. Very impressive.
Too many egos lol. I love your sarcastic commentary. Cherokees for the WIN! Love the WJ and always partial to an XJ.
The upside down Bronco on the back of the jeep on the “bronco rescue” sticker is irony at its pinnacle 😂
I'll vote XJ for being the Least Built, WJ for making things look easy, JK for well being a wrangler 😉, and finally the Busted Bronco for completing the trail with jeep assistance 😎!!!
Overall great Video as usual bleeping Jeep!
The couple that used ducktape to continue, were the giant killers. They win. I also think they had more fun. Good luck award goes to the Bronco, he did well facing up to those Jeeps on that track!
Must be pretty embarrassing for that Bronco owner when a 20 year old, $2000 XJ can pretty much drive around you 😂 Better remove the “jeep eater” sticker 😂
And he fully rolled it down a hill recently haha
I love showing up in my beater XJ and surprising everyone. Simple mods, long arms, lockers and 35s on the stock axles. 😂
Or put more sticker says “got eaten instead” 😂
I'm on a D44 swap (no one looks) and my XJ brings the heat every time, no questions asked. I recently moved into a gladiator for the family and don't want to sell it, but the market is prime for well built XJs.

XJ for the win hands down! Dana 35 and 33’s, on a trail rated for 37’s minimum, only winching once, and completed the trail! That’s awesome! WJ for a close second. Third I’d have to say the Bronco in all fairness still completed the trail after playing dead like my dog does! The JK did awesome as well! But a wrangler should do well in comparison to the WJ and XJ. Just my 2 cents…
It was a great time running the trail out there with Matt & Josh, Tyler, and Richard. We all had a lot of fun both driving the trail and ribbing one another along the way. Y'all are a great group of people. Grace & I had a blast!!!
Thanks again Matt & Josh for running the trail with us (I think you're one of the few who would go to Pritchett with a jeep on 33's) LOL
PS...Tyler just happens to be running Pritchett again today as part of bronco safari this week!
Lol, really?? I hope he does better this time around. It was a blast! Until next time! 🥳
You all won. Period.
Thanks for giving Oregon XJ's great representation!
Yeah you guys did amazing! On 33s! Definitely the winners in this challenge.
Levi I really enjoyed your part in this Adventure. I sure hope that you keep rolling that vehicle up over things that far "superior" machines can't. Well Good Sir. Cheers - \m/,
After seeing that XJ, I feel like selling my JK and look for an ol' XJ.......NOT :) Bro and his GF were amazing. Truly inspiring, for a near stock rig.
Also favorite part “Hand built myself in my garage, Crate Axles & bolts on parts” 🤣
Unibody’s for the win!🎉
That guy was a tool😂
This JK guy is such a dork
That XJ on 33's did amazing! The Bronco did as I expected.
Broncos suck 👎
The XJ ALL DAY LONG 🤠👍
I had the same setup on my 2000 XJ and there's nothing quite like seeing the looks on people's faces who are on 37" or bigger getting outdone by a cheap box on 33"s with the 30-35 setup still... great driving and the kiddo impressed me as well, reminds me of my daughter driving mine 🤠👍
The WJ did fantastic, but that damn little XJ was amazing!!
Member of the Offical Bronco Recovery Team! Jeep for the win!
With the Bronco struggles, I think half of it was driver error. But happy the Bronco buster parts are helping it become more capable (less broken parts)
You 4x4 guys are nuts. I had my first taste of climbing a hill. This is insane.
My favorite video from Moab so far this year
Yeah the XJ rocked the group. Crazy no doubt.
I’m Glad That Bronco Rescue Vehicle was there we needed a Real 4x4 on that Trail.
The XJ has my vote it preformed great 👍👍👍
XJ for thr win! It may also be that he seemed to be the only driver who watched what hindered those in front of him. Great video.
XJ for the win!!! I miss my 2001 so bad! I was only on 32’s, with the 4.5” rubicon express…. But that little Jeep went everywhere!!
THIS IS AWESOME Matt !!!!.. XJ for the Win !!!!! I LOVE my TACO, BUT.....Jeeps just RULE.
That XJ blowed my mind, just imagine if it had the same setup as the ZJ.
I’d say the XJ won just smoother and more one hit wonders and with a D35 W🤯W…🤙
Dang……That was one narly trail! Yet, epic scenery and epic jeeping! Glad you all made it out safely and almost in one piece. Impressed with the XJ!!
It’s crazy to me that this is fun for people. My anxiety is a 9/10 watching this 😂😂😂
For all those Bronco bashers out there.....just know that Tyler the guy driving Bronc Buster is one heck of a good guy.
@@johnkaz858 ::yawn:: more tired drivel
Yep
This video solidified my reasons for not wanting the new Bronco
That XJ tore it up. I can't wait to get my 96 on the trail. CHOKECHERRY CANYON here I come.
Really, really NICE video - nice story, nice cameras, nice editing, and very nice drone shots... NICE...!
Thank you.
I’ve loved my 2000 xj from day one but this video blew my mind. And you guys did an amazing job with that wj. What a beast!!!
That Bronco is definitely NOT a Jeep eater! lol
Ford bronco so bad on 40s a xj on 33s wooped it's ass. All that for $100,000 what's not to like about the new ford flex.
That dude in the WJ knows exactly when to get on and get off of the gas. Good driving
Considering the difficulty of the trail, the XJ wins, but the WJ is a beast. I was impressed by the Bronco, but, Jeep eater seems a stretch. Good job on all of them.
Is that bronco using a GOAT system? The way he kept bumping those rock like a goat made sense.. 😅
That was the most XJ thing I've ever heard: only needed the winch to fix the steering.. XJ & WJ dominated. Their wheelbase and driver skill made the difference.
XJ with an Allen wrench and duct tape has my vote.. Lots of fun on not such a big budget build!
The guy in the bronco needs to learn to keep his arms in the vehicle at all times.
I loved to see the brand new Bronco running against older models. XJ was the winner for me.
I could never spend big coin on a off road rig knowing I could roll it. This is why I picked up a 1980 FJ for 3k for bashing. Great video and Poor Bronco!
I couldn't bash a classic.... Unless it was already pretty thrashed. Fj's are my first love.
XJ was a legend! And the driver was just so happy and fun! Hands down winner 🏆
The WJ took the day for sure but that XJ… took the WIN 100% that beautiful XJ is why their the greatest off-road rig of all time.
The Bronco sticker on the Cherokee was so on point for this video.
WoW, such friendship among these guy's is awesome. Go Josh! 🇺🇸
Any video showing a brand new car rolling over is worth 5 stars ⭐️ 🌟 ✨
I build Explorers and early Broncos. I have a friend I wheel with that has an XJ all cut to pieces, welded diffs and stock axles on 31s and he makes a lot of JK and buggy drivers very angry. I would do the same back when I wheeled my Explorer the same way on IFS, welded diffs, 33's, and lots of weight reduction. Brings me back to my roots to wheel cheap rigs like that. That's one of the reason's I'm voting yall in for UA. I love that you're building an underrated, uncommon rig.
Thanks Bubba, we need the daily votes!
@@bleepinjeep PS I'm only like 6 hours away from yall. You should come wheel at SMORR in Seymour MO next time you're passing through from TN to UT or CO!!
Xj was killing it 😮
Wicket trail and and great wheeling! But indeed, the XJ was the most impressive getting the most out of the least. However, this was really the solid axles against the independent A arms and FLEX matters - A lot 🥵
CONGRATS TO THE BRONCO ON COMPLETING THE CHALLENGE WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM HIS FRIENDS.
I love that quick little high-speed drone shot. You should do more of them but make them a lot longer do that up the trails you’re going to run before you go so we can see what you’re in for
The Jeep with the teenager rocked the event..
That little XJ was impressive. Peck Brothers drove Prichett in a nearly bone stock TJ without breaking anything too. Maybe Dana 35s aren't as weak as some believe?
It's all about the driver
Impressive, but I wouldn't want to give the credit to the D35... they still suck :D
They got a bad rep in the 90"s when Dana had some bad axle hardening on the first C clips .
That was actually a chrysler 8.25, not a dana 35.
@@rodgood I just finished swapping a D35 with a bad pinion bearing for a Chrysler 8.25. Admittedly it was probably from a poor setup by the PO, and not the inadequacy of the axle itself.
I like the emphasis on full hydro in the front. Where else would you have full hydro? Also that guy needs to learn to keep his arm in the door
I'm really not surprise that it rolled over. He needs more seat time. I've seen him in other videos and cringe each time
