I bought the Sony platinum headset years ago and still use it today. Debated on getting these but after reviews, I decided to stick with the platinums until they break
I had that kind of mindset with my Gold 2.0 PS4 headset but it has started to flake on the ear cuffs.

Yo i need help so i got ps5 for Christmas and im looking into streaming/content creation so obviously i need a mic and maybe headphones or some shit but i dont wanna take away from the dualsense experience since the games I've bought have been open world and or story games and this is where the dualsense shines in my eyes so i was just wondering what you woudk recommend so fsr i think the way to go is a mic only but i want advise from someone smart

I tried using turtle beach for COD and it doesn’t let me control game and chat audio individually - I had to get these headsets and it works pretty good. The turtle beach work better in my opinion tho
The pulse are the only ps5 headset that does that yeah. I have stealth 600 turtle beaches they kinda wack im thinking about getting the pulse but for COD you said the TBs are working better for footsteps eh?
@@LordeSwaggy it’s a PS5 problem - I have Xbox and the steps th 600 work great but on PS5 I had to get the Pulse and I’m not playing COD on PS5 because of it

They are awful if you want to try and speak with people in chat… you can’t hear yourself talk. They are average for playing games.

These headsets are absolutely trash!! 1st of the sound is horrible and if your getting them specifically for footsteps it’s an absolute joke, get the maxwells if you have the money or the artic. 100 dollars just doesn’t give you an edge in gaming especially these trash headsets. Speaking with with over 6 months experience

I'm confused why do you need a dongle for a headset?
PS5 does not support BT headsets. Long story short, wireless audio devices are better using 2.4ghz wireless dongle for gaming. So thats why they are actually called wireless headsets, not really cause they do not use a wire. Correct me if i’m wrong, anyone 🫣

I'm the same. I've been trying to get through Alan wake 1 before I start 2 and I play the game like 10 minutes at a time whenever I attempt to and when the kids are down I'm pretty much ready to pass out myself so I knock out too lol
My brother has had a pair for 2 years now and we can safely safe we wish we never brought them. There are constant connection issues and mic not working which we dont have on other headsets. Dont get it.
Simply just a defective pair had mine since launch and mine works perfectly fine, and (Granted don't know how your brother's pair is but eh) Bluetooth issue could be partially got other things in house hold or near by that can interfere with it and just recommend getting a dedicated mic nothing too fancy but like Razer Seiren Minii mic goes for about 50 dollars probably can find something cheaper then that and can't beat a dedicated mic in sound quality vs headset mic.
The sound sucks. Their fake 3D audio makes it hard to tell directional sound. Also uncomfortable after 2 hours. MS's headset is excellent and costs the same price! With Dolby and DTS for headphones. None of that made up artificial 3D sound.

I think these are good for casual players.If you spend more than average time playing and into first person shooters/competitive I’d HIGHLY recommend SteelSeries Arctis 7p.

They sound excellent, but the battery life is short. With the Arctis, I could use them for a long time before having to recharge.

@@reckless_iguana6143the battery lasts 12 hours still you just gotta charge em once a day unless you’re playing for more than 12 hours but that take like 20 minutes to charge but it definitely an be an issue if you forget to charge it like me lol

Don't buy. Battery life is bad. Also charging is slow af. I have an old and very cheap Sony BT on-ear headset that has much better battery life, but has of course no 3d audio and isn't suitable for gaming due to latency. Also: the receiver sucks. Sometimes the audio is cutting out for a millisecond. It seems to have problems with wifi interference, which is...well, I'm not giving up my wifi router for this headset :). It's just not a good product to be honest :/. On the other hand it's very comfy, and sound is "ok" / good enough. I bought it, because Sony never failed me. Sadly I didn't watch a review before.
Rules me out. If Sony don't bring out a headset that does everything it should for their new console then I'm out.. shame on Sony

When it comes to talking on the mic turtlebeach is the best but the thing about ps5 controllers the mic part to put in the controller mess up EASILY

There's the pulse elite that's coming out in 2 months, it has Planar magnetic driver which is really immersive

Thats a no. Cuz the ps5 only has theb2 usb ports for the dongle
However if you get a usb extender which has like 3+3+1=7 usb ports plug it in your ps5 and you got 10usb ports now , your welcome 😊

the one thing on this video that is not true is the material on the headphones, they are very good and have had them since they came out and nothing has cracked at all and I use them everyday for at least 2 hours, apart from that great video bro
I test pulse 3d 100% volume in wired sound normal but in wireless with dongle sound like only 40%. This headset make me disappointed.

Actually if you lose the dongle you just plug the cable into ur headset then your controller so your not completely screwed youll just have a wired instead of wireless headset

No, the PS5 does not have Bluetooth
Funny thing had Astro A50 Headsets and they just make it so complicated to change Sound settings etc. Or to even connect it to the Playstation. I sold them got these ones and Im not regretting a single minute.
The worst thing about it is probably the mic. But honestly every Wireless Headset has a sh*tty mic.

For warzone does the voice chat and game chat volume really work seperate? Because I’m trying to find a headset because my voice chat volume is at 2 in game warzone settings and it’s just extremely loud….my headphones only have voice and game volume as one so can’t put it up as it’s too loud…. I have the razer kaira for ps5

Man I don't know. I was loving them for awhile then I tried this cheaper Turtle Beach Recon headset that came with the Recon controller in a pack. Even on the PS5 they just sounds better and are more comfortable to wear. But with no 3D spatial audio of course My 3D headset never came with the dongle , but I can't imagine it would sound any worse via the 3.5 jack. Maybe I'll buy them new one day with the dongle to see if there's a difference.
plugged into controller and wireless are completely different. Wireless is much better than using the aux cable. It sucks that Sony does not sell dongles individually. They only come with new headsets.
