Forgot to add a teflon weed guard to my casting jig mold once. When I pulled out the poured mold. That’s when i realized I could also make swimbait jig heads. 😮 you let the cat out of the bag Matt. Love the content.

is there a mold that only have one size hook
like all the cavity are 3/8 only
Depends on the specific mold, but not this one. This mold is all multiple sizes. Typically you can use one size up or down from what size hook the mold calls for
Can you use different sized hooks for the weights ? i often use 3/0 hooks but all my weights vary for the 3/0 hooks depending on what the current is doing..
To a point yes. You’ll just have to see what works for the specific weights you want to make
How did you cut down the base hole pin? Im having this problem right now in one of my molds the pin doesn’t fit for the size hook I want to use
I just used a pair of diagonal pliers

No. That hook works just fine!

The molds generally accept a handful of hook styles. They may be made specifically for 1 style hook, but generally other brands will work.
What hook did you use for the 3/8 ?
I think i used a 3/0
Have you ever poured the 1/8 oz?? If so what hook and base hole pin did you use?
I'm pretty sure I have, but I don't recall having issues with the basehole pin. I imagine I would have used the regular ones.

Anyone else have a fitment issue. The 32886NP-BN doesn’t fit the poison, tail jig, mold PTJ-3-AFS. There in 4/0. Is it just me?
If i remember correctly the poison tail calls for a 28 degree hook. Some 30 degree will work but some won’t. I don’t remember the hook i used in this video
Wich hook you use for 1/8-1/4-3/8 ??
Depends on what I’m going g to rig on the head. I pair the hook to the intended soft plastic. The mold also gives you a hook size for the specific cavity. Usually you can up or down one size.
