- Gabriela is a TV reporter from Rio de Janeiro. Due to her facial palsy in 2013, for three years she could not do what she loves most - to present live daily news on TV Globo - one of the most popular Brazilian channels.
During 7 months, Gabriela travelled 5 times for her rehabilitation program to Crystal Touch clinic in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. We have worked on her synkinesis, contractures, facial asymmetry and facial pains in the clinic, and she continued her work at home every day, never stopping and never giving up.
Finally, she appeared again in front of the camera with her new report - this time about herself. This video is about Gabriela's long journey - back to her Smile.

Gabriela:
"I had Ramsay Hunt Syndrome in 2013. My left side of the face remained paralyzed and I had no movements for 6 months. Later I developed involuntary movements in my face, synkinesis. Like for example, when I wanted to smile, my mouth corner would go down instead of up, and my eye would close. When I tried to speak, my eye was closing all the time and when I was eating, the food and drink would escape from my mouth. I came to Crystal Touch clinic for the first time in April 2016 and till now I did five sessions. Now I am back to my work, I am back to do my job in front of the camera. My profession is a TV reporter, and because of facial paralysis I had to stay for three years behind the cameras. Now I came to Rotterdam to make a report about these treatments. Because these treatments gave me back my smile, my life, my confidence, my work. I know that I can do everything I want now, because I have full control of myself, I have my self-esteem back, and I am very happy!"

Any update?
I had and still have Bells with all the residuals. Been three years and I am left with tinnitus, synkinesis, lazy eye, and hearing problems. I did get early treatment but did not do any good. I do not believe that the herpes virus is the cause< doctors are just grasping at straws. I'm glad that you were able to recover.
Did you take steroids on the early stage of bells palsy?
oh i totally get this i had a the main nerve in my face cut during a procedure to replace my bottom jaw i just dont know were to go i want my smile bk more than anything in this world x

I really want to go to this clinic. However, I am from the US. There isn't enough resources here, and I have to find a way to cope myself. Please, how can I get there? Any doctors in the US?

По-моему, показали мельком врача из россии Алексея Пашова. Он работает в клинике кристалл тач. Сначала я обрадовалась, увидев его, а поискав инфо, поняла, что мне не светит его консультация. Клиника в Роттердаме. Эххх! Жалко
