Hello Steve; The store looked clean & well stocked, prices always matter. Nice Tony The Tiger T-shirt. The Stories LP was released twice, first without Brother Louie included & released again with Brother Louie. The first one is rarer. Take care, Tina & Pat!~
Tony Tiger never looked so cool! With the Stories I needed the second version since I was giving a speech that used Louie Louie. That song was a big part of my middle years
Steve, I saw some really interesting used records with several in the $60 range, but some were ONLY $30. Nice selection. Good Stories album. Thanks, Chris
Chris, this store has the most reasonable prices I have found in Colorado so far and the manger is all about giving you a better deal. There were a lot of things that caught my eye
Hi there and wow what a coooool :) store!!!!! I sure do wish I was closer to it but so far away :). But I do enjoy your video on this and you did get some great Vinyl your self!!!!!! I was sure you would find something lol. In a sore like that Y not :)!!!! Take care and Have a great rest of your week!!!!!!
Beatle Brad, wow, very cool to hear from you! This store was good. I moved to CO in May and have been struggling to find a place that I feel has decent prices. Mile High City has Mile High prices for the most part. This has been my favorite store and I have been to a ton of stores in CO. Lot more to go. It is awesome to hear from you!
Hi there great that I mad your day :)!!!!! You know I thought you have moved but I was not sure!!!! Good to see you and glad that you are doing well and starting of a now world too!!! Thanks for all of the info on all you are doing and see you soon take care and see you later on the UA-cam :)!!!!
Love the Tiger 🐅 record store & the shirt 👕. Glad they ship used as many stores won't. Really good selection. Remember buying The Stories Brother Louie 45 as a kid !
Yeah I bought the Brother Louie 45 also David. That was such an amazing song. I have struggled to find a store that has decent pricing and this place delivered Refreshing. It’s an hour south of me
looks like a cool shop. ive spent bit of time in co springs but never popped in there. there’s a tiger records in jax fla too. weird to thing two people would think to use that name. his pricing isnt stupid. hahaha. great line.
Very nice selection there at Tiger Records! But if I was there, I would have snatched up that Bob Dylan’s Greatest Hits album with the shrink wrap and RARE shrink sticker hyping the enclosed poster!! Unfortunately, you never made it to the Elvis section. I can only imagine what rarities lurked in there!
No, my apologies I did not make it to Elvis. I would bet you would have most of his music already but you never know. That Dylan was a miss, I will grant you that one. That’s the fun of these videos, I find out all the great stuff I missed lol
@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 Elvis is the Number ONE most fun to collect artist because of all of the numerous label varieties, several of which are extremely rare and valuable!
Looks like a cool if a bit small place. Glad to hear they have good prices, you needed to find one with that in your new area. Love the "Stories" - and yes, "Brother Louie" is an all time favorite of mine too...I also like their cover of "Mammy Blue", which is why I asked you about it the other day. Have a great weekend, sir, see you on Sunday morning!
TC once in awhile I can buy a record we both agree upon. I use to have a lot of one hit wonder albums from the 70s. I just adored that song that had been on AM radio. Now I don’t have room for all of those album and I just downloaded that single song onto my phone. I grew up in a AM world
Right on Steve, how I miss Independent Records. The old record stores always have something that you can't find anywhere else for cheap. That Willie Nelson picture disc was fire. How are you gonna have a piece of vinyl marked $120 and not have it sleeved, jeez. Great shirt, and way better than the Arvada shop you featured. Overall it seems like it was worth going.
I just moved to Aurora in May from MI. I have been doing weekly tours of record stores. We were visiting 7 Falls so I decided to check out a record store, wow was I impressed. So many places charge too much money but Tiger was priced fairly on most of the albums. It’s an hour away but I will be back There is another record store in Colorado Springs I still have to check out
cool store..surprised you didnt even blink at richard hell and the voidoids 'blank generation'...but alot of good rack stuff.. hope you're well..had back surgery a few days ago..we'll see how it goes..peace always my friend.. happy thanksgiving.. rocky
Ok I really love their [prices here, they really make a lot more sense than that last antique mall. Very fair and a lot of great stock from the looks of it. Those Daevid Allen albums would have been ones that I would have considered, but I didn't get a good look at their prices. Also, that Eddie Jobson solo album is one I've been looking for, but that is actually the first time I've seen someone find it. The Paw album would be cool to get too, but I don't think I would have paid that much for it. It might be going at that price, but it's beyond my paying price lol. Yes that is a cool logo and t-shirt. Yes I could easily spend hours and money in there if only I could get down there lol.
Mike, those bands you mentioned I have no idea about. I guess I could shop with you as we wouldn’t be fighting for the same album haha. They had a great used selection at very reasonable prices. It was also nice to have a store willing to give you a deal.
Ooo you passed on Barbarella! Hubba Hubba! Ha ha! I’m not a fan of Jane, but as Barbarella she was damned sexy. This place was a cool little nugget of a place! So much variety! I have that same Stories LP! Louie Louie was on the soundtrack of my middle school years! Cheers 🎶🎼🎵🦃🦌🐿️🍻
lol, yes I was mulling that Barbarella over due to the artistic cover art haha. Louie Louie was also the same for me, my middle school years. I grew up on AM radio Matt and this song was huge.
Hi Steve while you were digging you played a song by Kevin MacLeod Acid trumpet from the album groovy (thank you Shazam) but I cannot find it anywhere in Australia is it still available on Vinyl?
Brian, I was thinking the same thing, my god the sticker shock not like Green Light. This store is an hour south of me so not too bad. Lot of cool stuff in there
Mike, was that accordion? The quality soundtracks keep on coming!! Wearing that shirt in Melbourne people would think you are a fan of the Richmond Football Club who are called the Tigers! Actually my Japanese baseball side I follow are called the Honshin Tigers too. Love an expensive blind buy Mike. It's what makes life exciting & it's better than going to the casino. Patient wives are the best. Cheers...Mike
lol on the quality soundtrack. This is what YT gives me to play, haha. They seem to feel it is pretty cool and this week I chose jazz! Mike, my wife is patient to a point then her Irish blood kicks in! She doesn’t like to drive and never knows where she is at I at least I don’t have to worry about getting left behind haha.
Nice store. If I was there, I would have picked that August Burns Red. If it wasn't too expensive. OH and that Hendrix BBC Recodinings vinyl. And maybe CCR. Too much to choose. Do you know that feeling? ;) There was also good Uriah Heep albums. Oh and how cool looking t-shirt! How much record store t-shirts are usually? mr. Finglish (Bäd English Recs)
Mr Finglish, most T Shirts cost between $20 to $25, I do love buying them. August Burns Red, I have no idea about that band my friend. Is it hard rock? They had so many records I wanted but my wife gets impatient lol.
Brandon, I have no idea on that album. The manger did say to call him if something grabbed your fancy as he does ship. Sadly I have no idea about that album. This store had some very interesting albums
So cool you found a honey hole. Love that Logo, T-shirt and swag. I'm busy cullng my collection. Pulling out the stuff I have that I put on to romanticize the ladies 😊. Time for someone else to use 😊. Like your better half, Brenda has no interest....in the music 🎶 😂
lol, the romance is gone, purge those albums haha. Yeah, any album I had to woo Patty is just taking up space also Greg ! The store was pretty nice, an hour South of me. I’ll be back
Wow! That looks like such a cool store. I love that t-shirt. Thanks for featuring them. Take care.🤗♥️
I would love that store.
I thought you were going to squeeze the trigger on that Polvo record! Louie Louie Louie Lou-eye! ha ha...what a great song! Thanks for the tour Steve!

Tony, it was a surprise to find this store. Wonderful selection not over priced
Nice store! Definitely a lot of fine selections!
Michael, it has been hard to find a store that is not over priced. This is an hour away so not too bad of a drive Lot of very cool stuff

Hey Steve. Great store video and flip through! I wish I lived closer to his store. Great T-shirt! Brother Louie! Cheers
Bobby, I have struggled to find a store that is not over priced , this one checked off those boxes
@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 It looked that way.
Did I just see SNOW in that parking lot? It's too damn early for me to be seeing snow Steve. Have a heart buddy.... LOL .... I liked the Poker Chip.
Bobby I got 2 feet of snow last week but it is almost all gone now. All the ski slopes are open!

Glad to hear there’s hope for CO record hunters 😂 I was beginning to think every store was insanely expensive
Take care Brian ☮️

We have a Tiger records in Jacksonville too. I'm sure not related but now I'll ask.
I saw so many things I would be interested in as you flipped.
Sherry I hope your Tiger Records have a cool T Shirt like this one did!
Man I want that “ I Should Coco”. Any idea what it was going for? I’ve also never seen that Lola Kinks album in the wild.

2:27 A Ass Pocket Of Whiskey is a good one.
Richie, if I didn’t have that I would have grabbed it. I do like RL Burnside
