Thank you for all your teaching ! ❤all the recepì ‘ that you made are banging good !!! Thank you , to both of you !
❤️❤️
Msg is amazing. Used it for the 1st time last week. My days. It turns home cooked food into take away food. Just like that. 👍🏼
❤️❤️❤️
One of my late Mum's absolute favourite takeaway dishes. I will make them in her memory. Thx Chin and Choo. X
Sorry for your loss but glad we could help :)
Have just discovered after 45 years of eating Chinese ribs that they actually supposed to have meat on them, I've never seen this before. Thanks for educating me. Now subbed.
Brilliant and I'm glad we could show you somthing new :)
The ones that I get from Chinese Takeaways never have any meat on them. Usually just those long curved bones with a thin layer of over fryed skin, gristle and cartilage on them.
Thankyou both I've really enjoyed your videos and finally learned how to cook proper takeaway food...😊
Awesome! glad we could help
Make sure to hit the like button :)
I’m soooo grateful that this channels exists and that you guys make this video! I’ve struggled for ages to find genuine videos that show you how to make Chinese takeaway. Thank you so much!
No worries, glad we can help :)
I feel the same..they are very good and show u every understanding..great 👍
I love your mum, she's brilliant. I'm a new subscriber and already a fan. keep doing what you do.
Thank you :) and mum is awesome:)
I love you guys. Dont let the ignorant minority of people bring you down. The majority love you. Keep up the great work
The tallking at the beginning is all part of the entertainment. Great recipes, and thanks to you and your mum for sharing.. subscribed and thumbs up from me.
Thank you :) means alot to hear :)
Been cooking Chinese food at least twice a week since I subbed ,it's not easy but I'm getting there with the basics ,if it wasn't for you I'd never had given it a go so well done big ups ect ect🤗
This is awesome to hear, thank you so much for trying it all!
Same here, with the money I saved not having to go the Chinese Shops, I became a Patreon. Well worth it.
@@dbanksey216 :) thanks again, means the world and it really does :)
I love everything about this. You are so natural and yourselves, and incredibly endearing. You make it all make sense, I really appreciate the time and effort you've put into this. You are my new favourite channel. Thank you very much. What is the best way to support you? What makes the most difference to you?
Thank you so much for the kind words and the best way to support is to just watch and tell your friends and family about us :)
Another excellent recipe. So far I’ve done the duck and pancakes, ribs, Thai red curry, chow main and satay skewers and dipping sauce. Fan bloody tastic. Whole family very impressed and say better than any takeaway they have had. I have to agree. Thanks guys. Keep up the good work!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I used to work in a Chinese takeaway, Mrs Lee the owner had a big deep fryer just for cooking ribs and aromatic duck. The old oil would be used for making her curry paste as it had lots of flavour in it. Her curry sauce was legendary, I’ve never seen a pan as big as the one she made her curry paste in.
👍🙂
Great vid, definitely doing this one, cheers, the banter between you and your mum is what makes your videos so special!
Thank you :) means a lot to hear :)
Been waiting for this one thank you.
Please bring out a cookbook.
we will when we can afford to print one :)
Ziang's Oriental Food Workshop I’ll be happy to pay into a kick starter or go fund me page.
Go print on demand (POD) through somewhere like Lulu.com it won't cost you a penny. All you need to do is upload a Word document or PDF and they'll convert it into a book. When someone orders a book (from a link on your website or UA-cam page) it'll be printed and posted out to them. If you set the price at £15 you'll get around £9 per sale paid monthly via PayPal.@@ZiangsFoodWorkshop
That's an awesome tip!
I need a book yous are doin a great job on here well done
I love cooking but cooking stuff like that, by the time you buy all the ingredients to make the ribs that’s about £20 then you got to clean all the pans you may aswell order a take away and have the works!!
Being a chef, we always order in pork belly with the ribs on and use the ribs for staff tea. Thanks for that method of cooking.
thats what mum does when she makes them for home :)
What do you mean by staff tea ?
@@cheesybellend6842 Evening meal for the staff. Tea is a term used in the U.K Tea/Supper
Ellen Collins I must have been pissed when I asked this how did I not understand what you meant im English and use the term tea😂😂😂

Glad you like them!
Just found your channel, and have read some of the comments on the vids I've watched. The conclusion I've come to, is that some folk must lead a very sad existence , however anyone can have anything negative to say about anything in these vids is beyond me. The banter between you and ya mum is what makes them so entertaining to watch. Keep up ya good work and long live the banter 👍👍👍
Hahha i know right! I do enjoy the arguments though 😂😂😂😂😂 and massive thank you for the king words 😊😊😊
I think you and your mum are hilarious. HIYA! 😂 Ignore hataz!

I love the chatting , don’t change for idiots . 👍
We won't :)
Too bad... it would be more interesting if you put more focus on the cooking... too bad for you, if you wont take good advice...
@@Lorelaipeace omg I love the cooking and the chat, why not go and look at another video rather than making these comments.... I making these ribs again now love em
You guys are brilliant 👏 we love your mum. Please keep doing what your doing.
Thanks 😊
Sprinkle MSG on trolls, they melt like salt on slugs
Hahhaha brilliant
@@ashlyr4385 idiot
Dont add it then, like me say... but also you cant use soy as its naturally occuring in that, also aged cheese, tomatoes, veg and mushrooms, oh and human breast milk but id suggest not drinking that as that would just we werid. And while were at it ban salt as thats a flavour enhancer too!! Yeah!! NO SALT!
@@ashlyr4385 have you actually tried it, the reason they use it is because it works and it tastes good, end of, do you ever use bullion or stock cubes? Guess what gives it the flavour. If you don't like it don't use it. Are you going to scream because they use sugar ?
@@ZiangsFoodWorkshop there is nothing wrong with msg. it makes everything nice
Amazing video, so much effort goes into making those ribs. They usually taste brilliant. Barbecue rib sauce is incredible.
Yes they do and thank you!
you know you've had spare ribs when you're brushing your teeth the following morning and still finding pieces of pork in your mouth 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂 so true
That's called not brushing your teeth at night

Sweet
2:40 for anyone who wants to skip all the mindless waffle and banter and see the recipe.
when open the tins of sauce how long do they save for
I'm not saying anything, because my enjoyment of these videos, er, goes without saying!
Hahah brilliant 😊😊
The wine you were referring to is called “Mei Kuei Lu Chiew” (玫瑰露酒), it’s also known as “Rose Wine.” It is a type of Chinese spirit thats infused with rose petals, which gives it a floral aroma and flavor. Mei Kuei Lu Chiew is often used in Chinese cooking for its unique taste and fragrance, especially in dishes that benefit from a more pronounced flavor. I’ve never tried it but will try to get a bottle and see how it compares to shaoxing.
Could you please do Singapore vermicilli noodles
yeah sure i'll add them to the request list
I made these yesterday. Absolutely delicious. I think next time I'd use less sugar cos they came out slightly too sweet for me, but that's a minor quibble.
Thanks, Chin and Choo!
Brilliant and we do warn that’s it’s a sweet variation :)
Salt and Pepper Chicken (Crispy) recipe needed!
It's on the request list already:)
@Gareth Johnstone thanks gareth bit always feel free to share, its what makes this little community great :)
@Gareth Johnstone mum says yes 😂😂😂😂😂 so I guess she says its all good
I kept the sauce when i made them and froze it for future use, it is totally yummy😋😋😋🥰, evrybody else thought so to, I always make sure i source the ingredients you mention so to make it like you do. Ok off to do another batch (so i can freeze them)as its been a few weeks since i done them and they are all gone. lol. Keep on doing this channel, Hi to your mum.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
We've made this today and going to fry them tomorrow, hoping we get the frying right, thankfully there's a few supermarkets we can the ingredients from in Birmingham, definitely going to have to get the recipe book soon! Also going to try the chow mein and the prawn toast too 😁

Im making these in my instant pot this morning and have ordered your cookbook as well as becoming a patreon, fab channel and totally deserves more subscribers 💕💕💕
they sound like there going to amazing :)
Ziang's Food Workshop they were! Absolutely gorgeous! Next time i will be buying a bigger batch of ribs to make these ❤️
How did those ribs come out in the instant pot did you finish them on the grill do you use every ingredient or did you streamline
Use all the ingredients and finish on the grill. Its the only way i do them 😊@@Iambriangregory
I loved this thanks! It might be helpful to mention if there are any substitutes for some of the more difficult to find ingredients. I don't mind buying them from you guys but sometimes if you only need a table spoon and the jar is opened it can go to waste. Anyway loving the channel thanks guys xx
I guess ordering ribs and getting them the same day they are made other than defrosted frozen is the difference between soft fall off the bone and dry choking ribs
No, the freezing is more likely to make them more tender, especially if the ice crystals form slowly as they puncture the cell structure. No one makes them daily, there isn’t enough time, to do that one small takeaway would need a brigade of 10, clunky afford that when people won’t pay more than £6 for a chow Mein 😂 also there would be no room
@@ZiangsFoodWorkshop sometimes they are fall off the bone and other times so dry you think it's because of the frying time
Some1 really needs to invent scratch and sniff video's 😂😂 love the work 👌👍thank you
I know right!
YOU ARE THE RED CARPET GUYS OF UA-cam!!!! Yeeeeeeeeha Rrrrrriiiiiiiibs!!!! Nnnumnumnumnumnum!! 🤗🤗🤗😍

Just wanted to say thankyou for all the tips/recipies. Been cooking lots of these over the last month. Even tried the chinese roast pork recipie with chicken as a substitute, supprisingly it works.
Yes it's what they use instead of pork in many Malaysian restaurants in Borneo and thank you :)
Big fan. You’ve inspired me to get a food truck and stop working on shitty building sites and start doing something I love for a living🤞🏻
Wow thats incredible!
I love you guys. So informative and fun. Regards from Canada!!!

Thanks for sharing!! and huge thank you for watching :)
Your ace, love your book I’m obsessed, from a Yorkshire lass that’s a good compliment 🙌 never change for the trolls 👏👏
Thank you 😊
Mei Kuei Lu is very different it has a rose flavour, also a much cleaner taste, because one of the main constituents is rose water..There is a Persian wine you used to get that was similar and much much cheaper but I'm not sure if you can get it..Anyway Mei Kuei Lu is around £23 a bottle which isn't that bad when you think of French cooking and you can end up using a bottle of wine cost x3 as much
I'm sure mum said the name of the wine lol will look out for the Persian wine though
@@ZiangsFoodWorkshop I have a request and it is one of my fav dishes Ziang Mapo Tofu..I have the unadulterated full version and have cooked it many times and the recipe is long but how do the restaurants do it I'd be keen to find out also I know there is a vegetarian version called Mala Tofu, I think, I'm a Indian cook although do some Chinese cooking but mostly authentic Chinese as well as stuff from everywhere else..So I'd love to see you and your mum do this..Ps mums are precious I'm 500 miles from mine and miss her loads :-(
