thanks for doing this case! i actually analyzed this case in one of my forensic psychology courses when i got my masters. such a sad case indeed.
If you analyzed this case you know it was all circumstantial evidence. Even the militaries evidence wasn’t solid. One microscopic piece of glass that “could Match” the crime scene. No dna, no, weapon, no reliable witness since his children changed their stories along the way, and someone else admitted to the crime! I was in prison with this man and he is doing life and still claims his innocence. That doesn’t happen often where people claim their innocence 20 years later in prison. They usually come to terms with it.
I'd like to read that Masters. Maybe you will publish it?
Breaks my heart the children were separated. They lost mom and all stability and each other.
911 operators must go through something emotionally after these types of calls. That young boy was such a brave soul.
Wow. Why was this guy allowed to be around guns, EVER?
Kevin!! I love your channel so much!! Thank you for all of your hard work 💜 I cannot wait for your next jaunt 💜
Thank goodness justice finally prevailed !!!
Thanks for letting us know. What happened to the kids who were involved in this traumatic situation.
Dude really tried to pull off the OJ' defense 😂😂
Can someone fire this dispatcher
That dispatcher? Needs to learn to LISTEN!!
No kidding. How could she not understand that the cops never came and that the kids are in the house with their dead mother and grandmother?! SMDH
@@kenkaniff8428 and, no less, that the cops were never called until now!!
@@natford8271 totally agree!! How does she even have that job?? Complete lack of attention to details which is probably the MOST important thing in that line of work. I'm literally SMDH right now. Wrong line of work for her!!
Brave kid. I don't think I could talk that calmly if I found my mom like that and I'm an adult.
Aaahh man that poor little voice. 😭❤️😭❤️😭
He was military and knew how to cover his tracks. It’s so obvious the kid who confessed was just fronting.
Good gawd that dispatcher was horrible!!
Listen to him at the beginning, with the nerve to call himself a father while sitting in prison for murdering the child's mother
this poor boy, so brave, I can't even imagine how scared he must have been :(
That poor, brave little boy. God Bless him.
I am at the beginning of the story and poor Mathew just broke my heart!!
911 operators are absolutely ridiculous. Fire that lady immediately. Wtf 🤮🤮
Matthew is a very smart kid...I hope all 3 kids are doing well
He thought he was doing something when he said “If the time doesn’t fit, you must acquit.” 😂😂😂 that was ridiculous
The emergency handler was a bit dumb. She kept asking if the police came. He told her again and again that he didn't call the police. The little boy, on the other hand, was very bright, being able to give address and zip code.
The 911 call made me literally cry! That poor, sweet, brave boy! His Mama would have been so very proud!
He absolutely did it. He said he was going to killer and he did…period.
I’m curious do you find the timeline at all convincing that he just couldn’t have been there physically?
I may have missed something but that’s a pretty big deal I think. Granted he was not a great person and had issues and the fact the kids were not harmed does, seem like it would be him as who else would just kill the adults that he despised?
I just can’t wrap my head around that particular point.

He used the old "If the glove don't fit, you must aquitt"....lol
Nicely done. Hadn’t heard of this story before. Which is pretty rare these days 🙃
This 911 lady should be dismissed as she's as much use as a chocolate fireguard. The child was very clear explaining what had happened.
Even children get frustrated with dispatches asking the same questions over and over again
