This song really takes me back to 30 some years. A bus load of us went from Boston to Virginia to see him. While we were riding I made it clear to everyone on the bus, that Al Green is my favorite singer "on and on and on" I made them promise me; that when it was his turn to come on stage, to hold me back. One lady across the isle told me that she would hold me back.. Well when he came on stage, I jumped up from my seat and started running down the isle. Guess who was behind me? I turned to her and said, (while we were still running,) "I thought you were going to hold me back?" She said, as we were still running. " I lied". He ended up giving all of us that got to stage first, a rose. I kept that rose in my bible for many years. LOL

We talked a lot all the time in my dreams. The last dream he told me to let him let basically stop hurting emotionally when I did. When I find myself any struggling situation or thinking about myself I can't help but to think about him and start crying. I think that's what he was talkin about. Every since then I don't know who I am anymore I would like to but it's a lot more easier now. I can think and talk about him without crying. Are you later after his passing I started working outside the home and I'm not going to lie I really hate it LOL

I have been through so many different stages of mourning , sadness , loneliness , anger , guilt and I always somehow come back to Love ❤️ & Happiness because we had a beautiful union that was blessed by God and so did you . I believe the lead guitarist is the musical director, Mr. Green cues when he wants the band to "break it down," come down/up, from the top etc,. even then the musical director has to read his body language, watch/listen for the cues and so on. I believe the lead guitarist is the musical director, Mr. Green cues when he wants the band to "break it down," come down/up, from the top etc,. even then the musical director has to read his body language, watch/listen for the cues and so on. The band also has to be on cue, as things can change in a heartbeat. They all work hard, this makes them the musicians they are. Nuff respect to them.
