It's obvious Sarah is not only your partner and love of your life but your absolute luckiest charm too. You both are very blessed to have each other ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎
Hi Willie and Sarah, nice wee collection again, loved Sarah’s wee food cup and lid, think that lid could be cut down too fit a crock you got a while back, good too see you both digging together, what I do when i do a repair is try and get the colour as near as possible, then mix it through the milliput, again what works for one, might not work for another, still you got it filled and painted ok.Well done you both.👍
Hi Robert - that's a really great suggestion - thanks. I've since learned a new trick, through trial and error. It'll feature in a new video, probably in around 2 weeks or so. Definite game changer for me! Willie :)
I think that is an old nest egg. My Grandfather put glass nest eggs in his hen's nest boxes. Some hens will not lay their eggs in a nest box, if an egg is not already on the nest. This was to keep all the hens laying in the same nest boxes that he provided. One afternoon, when he went into the barn to check his nest boxes, he found one of the boxes empty (no glass nest egg). Not far from the nest box he found a snake who had gone through a knot hole to crush the eggs he had swallowed. The glass egg was solid glass; and, the snake could not crush it (he was stuck). Grandfather killed the snake and got his glass nest egg back.
Willie, you're not tired from digging, you're tired from dancing. What a belter of a day for you and Sarah. Sarah I think you metal piece is a jacket hanger and the white porcelain ball goes on one of the ends. Take care you two and be safe.✌
Oh Willie......it just wouldn't be one of your videos without you delightful smile as you dance you better dance. Your dance brightens my day and I just love to see the total happiness in your heart. ❤️🐕🇺🇸
That very large lid you found is a crock lid. You are very lucky to find that, as .any times the crocks survives and and the lid is broken. I remember my mother using crocks in the cellar to store fruitcakes in to let them age so they would be ready for the holidays. Wonderful find. Now you have to keep your eye out for a crock that needs a cover. I have several crocks, but bought it made wooden covers as the covers broke years ago
My mom would store my grandma's big crocks (original lids too!), full of cucumbers becoming pickles, in our basement during the summer when I was growing up in Wisconsin. I loved her homemade dill pickles from baby cucumbers grown in our garden.
So many belters! The food warmer is fantastic great history of how the term fairy lights came to be. Terrific bottles, great fun. Great job Sarah 👏❤️🐕🇺🇸
Awesome production! Very much enjoy your work Willie. Way cool to find Sarah digging too. My favorites are the antique artifacts that turn up, so interesting to learn how the items were a part of life back in their day. Celebrate and dance Willie, pulling those fantastic bottles, stoneware, pots, etc… in such good condition is definitely exciting and gives a rush of joy at the point of discovery. See ya next dig✌️
Thank you for another totally absorbing video. You find them, you film them, you research them, you clean them, AND you restore them. That’s a lot of work and especially this weekend, a welcome reprieve from the so-called real world. It’s nice to escape into yours sometimes.
May I say how very much I enjoyed watching Willie do the Absolute Belter dance!! As a Scotch Irish American you've single handedly restored my faith in my heritage. I thank you Sir👌🥳
I found an egg in the barn when we moved in here in the 60s in the chicken nests. They were long gone but the houses were left. They put them in the nest to encourage the chickens. I love you guys. You be good to her Willie, she is a cool keeper!
Nice v❤lentine's diggin duo! Luv the repair Willie ..Sara I think your pot lid would make a nice bird feeder or plant drain plate in macrame plant hanger. Happy hunting
Sarah, I love the hair color! And how romantic to dig in the dirt with your husband. I love the food warmer. It did look like a flower pot. The thistle bottle is an absolute belter!
What a belter/stotter of a day…first belter, I bet, was having Sarah with you! So many cheeky little dances for all those great finds! Your rainy-day fix-up was well-done, Willie.
What amazing memories and finds you two made today. Thank you for bringing us along. Love the repair of the cream pot. Take care and see you next weekend 👍👍👏👏💖💖
A great video you both had some sweet finds. how did the trees get on in storm Eunice at the bottle dump . i lost a lot of lovely trees sadly..stay safe..VIC...
Wow wow wow mind blowing finds! So many picking is hard off the top of my head egg, tiny pitcher, thistle bottle, blue poison, ginger jar, and you finally found a fairy in the Magic Treasure Tip lol! Good to see you Sarah! Off to watch Sarah’s video next! Thank guys! 💕💕WV🇺🇸
Love watching you dig for treasures. Others just walk around looking at what other diggers left or scrape a little dirt. Please keep digging down for all those dirty secrets. Pam from Texas
Your ‘steath dance’ for the blue poison just cracked me up. Tell Sarah the curly thing she found is a hat/coat hook. Probably some small decorative knobs screwed into the ends.
Well that had to have set a record for Absolute Belters! It's a good thing you decided to shorten the dances or you would have been exhausted. Congrats! It was nice seeing Sarah along with you. I'm certainly glad you gave her a chance in the bit you were digging in, all that work for nothing has to get discouraging. All in all you both had some wonderful finds. Thanks again for including us in the fun. The repair came out great. Well done! :-D
What a haul of belters from both of you, almost need to pool them all together and do one mega belter dance 🕺💃 beautiful repair job on the cream pot too Willie!
Great finds! Sarah’s large lid looks like the lid of a bread crock. The uranium glass lid Willie found looks like part of a dressing table set. I love the Swedish medicine bottle!
ABSOLUTE BELTERS! You can hardly dig for dancing! Please don’t stop dancing! I smile every time! Congrats on all the great finds! Love your channels, your attitudes, your video offerings! Thank you.
Thanks! It was a fairly quick repair, this one. I recently did a full porter bottle repair - that took AGES!! Lots of trial and error. It'll feature in about 2 weeks. Willie :)
Way to go Sarah, I love when you two dig together. I like to see diggers react to their finds with another live soul at the time of the find....now I will stop writing and give my full attention to the video. Happy digging, I'm hoping for some belters from both of you.
I also Love when Sarah comes and digs. She was doing her first dig near my first video of DSoS. Great finds, Willie you should share the Belters LOL Awesome repair. I have not been getting my notifications, so I clicked off and back on hopefully that will work. Off to walk with Sarah....
It's the best! But, alas, she's a busy lass! She will join me from time to time though. And thanks - getting more confident with the repairs. Hope you enjoyed your walk with Sarah! Willie :)
What a dig you two had! It's very interesting the different items you two brought out this time. I have to admit, the thistle bottle was my favorite. Such a cool find for you two! Danced along with you of course and laughed out loud at the part with the poison bottle. You two (three) always bring a smile to this old heart. Have a beautiful week Willie, Sarah and Sir Jack of Spaniels.
Very fun finds! I saw that exact same uranium glass lid and a fragment from that fairy light rhyme in other people's videos this week. I've been thinking I would love to make a pork pie ink and one of the larger inks into oil lamps with a clay bead to hold the wicks-those curtain draw things Sarah found would be perfect for that. Hope you did something romantic after you got cleaned up from your dig 😉.
Awww. Loved this episode with both of you in it. Brilliant finds as always. I'm so jealous of the blue poison. I'd have been salty too if Dave found that before me. 😂👍
I’m so glad I found this channel. I learn new things, see the beautiful Scottish outdoors, and have a laugh at Willie’s antics. Definitely one of the favorite parts of my week is watching these videos!
Ooh. Willie you have to have Sarah paint the thissel bottle. She could bring out all of the embossing with the way she shades things. What a team you are. I may have a few comments today. Sorry to be a pest.
Thanks Mare. Maybe she will one day! If so, you can take credit for the idea! And don't be silly - not being a pest at all! We love your comments! Willie :)
Love the ariel belter dance, lol. You guys are so funny. Way to go, be happy. Just an idea for the broken bottles might be to cut off the panels of the bottles with writing on them, that aren't broken, put them in a shadow box or frame. Of course smooth the edges and make a pice of art. A great way to save heart-breakers. Do like it when Sarah joins you and her finds are just as great, but where is our favorite pup? I know he must be around.
I am so glad to come across your video's I can not believe the amount of wonderful things you get out, intact. I fell in love with the trinket box with figurine on, then coming across the top some way across where you found the bottom ! I love the perfume bottles too. I love the singing and dancing you both do, lots of fun. That you both xxx
Great to see Sarah! Actually I’d rather be digging in a tip on Valentines, you’re a lucky girl! I’m sure there was a nice dinner too! So many great finds!
This was a stoater of a video! Its always nice to see Sarah with you, and the drone shots are always amazing. I *love* the thistle bottle, and the ginger jar, and Sarah's teal coloured bottle was gorgeous. Uranium glass always fascinates me, I'm happy that lid was whole. And so many varieties of belter dances lol, we got an aerial one, a sit down one, a sneaky one, and loads of just 'happy dances' 😃 And Sarah finding a wee leg, they always make me think of the Northern Mudlarks too - I always hear Alex's excited voice in my head - 'it's a *leeeeeg* '😂 I'm off to see where Sarah is walking and what she is painting now 😁
i've heard of the fairy lights. some people use the broken egg cups as seats in doll houses. It was good to see Sarah with you I wish she could dig with you more maybe she will in the summertime
I love that Skittle bottle and those mini straight sided plant pots are fab! I'd use that food warmer as a house plant pot probably 😂 Lots of other gems too! A trick I found with milliput is to get the terracotta colour stuff and the white and black variants and mix both parts of each, then combine them. Make a good terracotta colour if mixed in a good ratio!
Thanks Richard! The skittle is a belter! In pride of place on my minerals shelf! Plant pot is a grand suggestion - and it might be exactly its destiny! Willie :)
Willie you are a funny guy and sweet with it , Sarah is lucky to have you & you to have a lovely lady who loves to share the same interests with you. It’s looks interesting to see how you fine those nice things some new & old . I like getting small bottles of whiskey with the different labels of places, glans & history from different cultures . Happy ❤ day I love your found so far I hope the hearts will shine down on both ahappy day. This is shirley from new Bern . North Carolina u.s.a. keep finding more pretty things ❤😂🎉🎉🎉😅
Great dig! I love all the bottles you found. The big yellow pot lid looks like something I have seen in a picture of an old general store. It had big Red Wing jars of pickles, crackers and stuff like that. They lids like the one you found. Please stay safe and be careful! ❤❤

Sarah's metal thingy may be a coat hook?
Edit from the full time roundup! I think your two porcelain balls screw on to both of the ends!
It's obvious Sarah is not only your partner and love of your life but your absolute luckiest charm too. You both are very blessed to have each other ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎
I love when Sarah comes with you, I wish she would dig all the time w you. I love the finds. Great.
Thanks Pam - and me too! Sarah's kept busy with her own channel too, otherwise she's come digging more often. Willie :)
My thoughts exactly
The thistle bottle is a stunner
Completely agree! Willie :)
Loving the belters! Love your mini happy dancing! I sure hope you take Sarah out for a Valentine dinner! She’s a belter!💕
That lid you found looks more like a top for a cookie jar then for a cooking pot.

So many treasures on this dig. I love the bottle with the thistles on it best.
Thanks Penny - we love that one too! Don't think I'd ever let that one go! Willie :)
Your getting good with that drone mate
You know Sarah's a keeper when she's happy about being taken to a literal dump for Valentine's Day.
i LOVE that overhead tree bit at the beginning of the dig
Thanks - we're putting a few drone shots in these videos now. Glad you appreciate them! Willie :)
A few belters there Willie 👍👍
THAT THISTLE BOTTLE!!! 🤩 🥳
I know! Crazy cool! Willie :)
I think that is an old nest egg.

so many treasures had, but one is always with you is the love of your life Sarah, God Bless you both 🥰
Oh Willie......it just wouldn't be one of your videos without you delightful smile as you dance you better dance. Your dance brightens my day and I just love to see the total happiness in your heart. ❤️🐕🇺🇸
Excellent but I've heard of The Chicken Dance but not The Egg Dance, cracking stuff! Oh I didn't mean that pun.All the best.
Fantastic! Thanks Richard.
What came first, the chicken or the egg...? Clearly the egg... Dinosaurs hatched from em! Ha! Willie :)
Thanks!

The curved thing with missing ends at around 5:00 is a hat and coat hook. It had china knobs.
I think she found the knobs, too. Around 10:48 on the ground.
Thank you for another totally absorbing video. You find them, you film them, you research them, you clean them, AND you restore them. That’s a lot of work and especially this weekend, a welcome reprieve from the so-called real world. It’s nice to escape into yours sometimes.

The shape of the skittle (?) bottle is so charming--the one with all the thistles is a real beauty.

Great dig!!! Love your new sit down dance.
Thanks Sadie! Saves some energy for all that digging! Willie :)
Super dooper finds. Love your new renditions of the Belter music. Especially like the porcelain egg Belter music.
Your ‘steath dance’ for the blue poison just cracked me up. Tell Sarah the curly thing she found is a hat/coat hook. Probably some small decorative knobs screwed into the ends.

That big lid is perfect to turn over Spanish potato tortillas in the frying pan. 😀
Sarah - your gloves are humongous! You need a wee pair! I love how both of you are so curious, creative, and crazy 😍
You do a great job restoring. I enjoy your whole show. And also when Sarah and the Northern Mudlarks visit
Great finds. I can’t wait to try milliput . I saw that on Northern Mudlarks I think.
I couldn’t find anything on the thistle bottle so it is probably rare, what an absolute belter!!!
Very fun finds! I saw that exact same uranium glass lid and a fragment from that fairy light rhyme in other people's videos this week. A great day for belters and team work. You make such a wonderful pair! Cheers and keep up the good work.
Both of you did very well! I love the thistle bottle. You were meant to find that one for your collection.
Please share how using the rods helps you determine where to dig. Thanks!
Loved doing this as a kid. Good memories
I’m so glad I found this channel. I learn new things, see the beautiful Scottish outdoors, and have a laugh at Willie’s antics. Definitely one of the favorite parts of my week is watching these videos!
Great finds! Sarah should come digging more often.
I agree Dorothy. Sadly Sarah doesn’t always have the time to join me though. When she can, she enjoys a dig. Willie 😊
Willie :)

brilliant restoration on the jar.
Very nice 💕👵
I love that Skittle bottle and those mini straight sided plant pots are fab! I'd use that food warmer as a house plant pot probably 😂 Lots of other gems too! A trick I found with milliput is to get the terracotta colour stuff and the white and black variants and mix both parts of each, then combine them. Make a good terracotta colour if mixed in a good ratio!
