- In this video, i electrochemically convert copper sulfate to sulphuric acid using a Graphite Substrate Lead Dioxide anode (GSLD). We can conclude that lead dioxide electrodes are excellent for this process.

thanks man, my other doubts that is out of context is that need some pdf or video on the synthesis of ethyl chloride in the case would be a right gas? It would have to be step by step manufacturing know of any? I am struggling to find the net.
you rock, !!
pls show us how to make 1 phenyl 2 prpanone
god sent thank you, knowledge is king I miss lukhart method, nitropropeen ???
IKR! Gotta stay informed. Life is ever-changing and to create through synthesis is power. Science > all
Do you think the black precipitate could be lead sulfate? Or do you think it is copper sulfate from the remaining copper that didn't plate?
The black ppt would be mainly Cu metal particles and PbO2 particles that broke off from the graphite electrode.
brother help me if I do not get the PbO2 which can use another element to my reaction to it?
+Ms3th4n you can use carbon, gold or platinum

I'm wondering if palladium would suffice? It has the lowest melting point of all the 'platinum metals' and can absorb up to 900x it's own volume of hydrogen. Now I'm thinking it could be used for other things. When plated on conductive materials, it's an excellent electrocatalyst for oxidation of primary alcohols in alkaline media. Palladium is also a versatile metal for homogeneous catalysis. When applied to carbon, palladium forms a versatile catalyst; it speeds heterogeneous catalytic processes like hydrogenation and dehydrogenation. And can be found in catalytic converters ready and some spark plugs and some dental work
Please note that LDPE may react with the sulfuric acid.
+WeekendScience The reaction isn't that significant.
I’ve had h2s04 that came in a black hdpe bottle that discoloured it to brown not happy. So it would defs not be great with ldpe.
I did this for a year at 16yrs old and assumed i couldn't buy lab grade acid. Fuck was i wrong
Are you trying to be Nurdrage? This really could have been done without the voice mod...
Nurdrage is inspiration for me
I made this comment three years ago and since then I’ve watched all your vids. I would like you to know my past comment was foolish and you do good work mate.
Ha Got a feeling your an aussie. Kinda nice not hearing an American voice.
