I think my elite battery strap is adequate and haven't felt much of a reason to upgrade. The hot swapping batteries has intrigued me for a while. I can't decide if I want to try the halo style strap or not. I have a pretty big head. So with the elite and thick active facial interface from kiwi I have to open the elite fully to put it on. So I worry a halo strap would fit funny.
I just switched to the bobovr m2 strap with the battery and I really like it much better then the vive strap. The kiwi face padding is great to. Before I could only wear the headset for a hour max and my nose would be hurting. Now after 3 hours it still feels good.
I just bought the M1 Plus and it is a massive improvement over the strap! The strap put so much pressure on my face and cheek bones that I felt like I was in some medieval torture instrument!
@@ethanlee1137 The arms that attach to the sides of the headset will pop off when you apply pressure. All the installation directions are included in the upgrade kit.

because the m1 plus lets you lower the hinges it will feel more comfortable than the kiwi because you can lower the back of the head to a low position which actualy feels more natural than having a locked back to front path which isnt natural for the head, also that top padded strap is really not needed, you can use the normal thin one from elite strap and it will be perfectly fine

I’m sending the Kiwi back…Question is, does the battery models of the M1 and M2 plus counter balance worth it on its own for someone that doesn’t need an extra battery? I don’t play for longer than 30min at a time. I use more for watching videos and maybe a couple of games for cardio. Money is no issue. Just want to know if it’s worth it just as con yet balance and easier on neck. Thank you.

The kiwi is still a very nice strap. You might consider cancelling the order though also because a kiwi battery edition is coming soon if that interests you

Yes!!! There's many straps that are all better than the stock one but the M1 Plus is ONE OF THE BEST imo!! Glad you got a good one!

I tried the m1 plus with the battery and to be honest the kiwi strap with the b2 dock is better because you can place the battery wherever you want.
the fact that the m1 plus (with no battery pack) is 2x cheaper than the Kiwi Elite (also no battery pack) in my area is amazing.

It should have come with the bovovr strap to put on if you want. Mine did, and I got it several months ago.
