- Another outing in my Rollerteam 746 for the latest in my Seeing Scotland in a Motorhome series. This time I'm visiting Dollar Glen and Castle Campbell (formerly known as Castle Gloom), situated where the Burn of Care meets the Burn of Sorrow in Clackmannanshire.
Andy, you are really taking theses Scotland Motor Home travel vlogs to the next level. I think you should be nominated for an award from #VisitScotland for your professionally produced videos showcasing our #BeautifulScotland and the benefit of seeing it in a Motorhome. Well done. I like both styles of videos and now our van back on the road after my broken ankle, we are looking forward to visiting some of the suggested places, close to home, a day out or overnight stop.
Thank you so much for that nice comment. Glad to hear your ankle is getting better. Knowing that people enjoy watching is all the reward I need. :) maybe see you out and about!
@@CamperCameraGo Andy, can’t sleep as too hot, so check out any other Camera, camper, Go videos.
You do not seem to have been active in this channel.
How has lockdown and the whole COVID restrictions been for you, your work as a photographer and your family?
We have moved to Perthshire, have our M/H outside with easier access/exit than the last place, after a wee hate modification.
Hope to see/find you on the road …. With the 1,000’s on new MH Owners on the road and the influx of visitors from down south, that might be hard!
All your videos are great, fantastic work!
Just finished watching all you scotland videos, brilliant !!!!
Please continue with further adventures if you can, very informative & entertaining.
The parking spot highlights are great & you seem to show so much more than others.
Great drone work & photography, thank you :-)
Hi Andy - another great video living up to the standards you have previously set.
I like both styles of video, but if I have to make a choice then I'd go for the ones like this. Whilst your stayover points are very useful, I can always get this info from the Scottish Motorhome Wildcampers Facebook page (and their excellent database). That being said, of course, I don't get anywhere near the views of the sites that you are providing.
Excellent video and very well edited, glad I accidentally found your channel!
Thank you.
Steve
Hi Liked your video Especially the drone video very impressive looks really cool just going above the tree tops showing us and yourselfs what's ahead. You asked us to tell you what we prefer from your video's.I really like you taking us to places where I especially wouldn't have seen and most importantly places to stay overnight.I'm sorry if it means more travelling around. But without your videos of places to stay overnight most of us wouldn't have a clue where to wild camp.So thanks very much. And please keep taking us to places we wouldn't have known about.
Thanks.
Billy.
Thanks Billy. It's really good to get to know what people like to see. Thanks for your comments on the drone video. I love visiting new places myself too. :)
Hi Andy, another great video. You asked for preferences but to be honest I enjoy both styles. My knowledge of Scotland is not great only what I see on UA-cam and the Isle of Skye,Harris and the NC500 seem to dominate so I do appreciate other locations as well. Our plan is to start seeing Scotland in the very near future so we are taking notes of places you mention. Hope the reason for you cutting short your trip weren’t serious.
Thanks Dave. It's true that the same locations do seem to dominate the online content. I prefer to follow my own path :) I'm really lucky to have all of this almost on my doorstep. Don't worry - my minor crisis wasn't anything too serious, all will be revealed in the next video!
My wife and I enjoy your channel as you show other parts of beautiful Scotland and where they are on the map. This all helps to rekindle my interest in photography. Keep up the good work on the Channel and we do appreciate the hard work that goes into producing these videos.
Hi, really enjoy your videos with your fantastic photography. I'm picking up plenty of tips. I'm thinking of investing in a sat nav, yours sounds like a Tom Tom, would you recommend it?
Thanks for your comment. I think it is a Tom Tom - it’s what the van came with. I can’t think of anything much wrong with it specifically but I prefer to use google maps on an iPad
Just discovered your channel. As a keen Motorhomes and photographer I see a lot I like. We’re coming up to Scotland again this summer so I’m getting some good locations from your videos. I’m also thinking of getting a drone and wondered which one you have?
Hi Steve. Sorry for the slow reply. Thanks for your comment. I use a DJI Mavic 2 zoom drone. I'm very impressed with it.
Nice spot Andy. It is on our list of places to visit but not made it yet :-)
