Saving Alfira is like Deadpool saving Peter in Deadpool 2
I strongly recommend you do this, because it gives a Charisma robe in act 2
Of course ... there's always the Mod that the Goblin gives you the Cloak & the Potent Robes... Which I may consider using if I replay with Dark Urge doing a Murder Hobo playthrough ...
now I have to figure out how to do this honour mode...
You bastards! You killed the Lusty Argonian Maid !!!
not gonna lie its beautiful they considered that someone would figure out how to save her and made a backup choice thought of everything what a beautiful game
thanks mate concise clear info great video
Imagine if you could pick up unconscious people, I would fill my camp with vendors.
So just stepped into the play and I seen what I did...this makes me feel better for who died for her to live~ Thanks so much!
I lol'd so hard the first time i saw quill.
I was like.. "No! larian added in the lusty argonian from elder scrolls!" 😂
what's even worse? my friend was playinbg dark urge, i was a bard, when i saw her join the camp i got SO excited.... played a song with her and gale, was thinking of all the adventures we were gonna go on. then that scene happened, we had share private scenes on and i fucking screamed xD
meanwhile my crazy friend who loves killing shit was laughing the whole time.
but you know what?....that's fine......cause i know something. he saw the companions for this game and he says he likes karlach...that's all i need to know
its like dark urge truly comes out not being a minthara simp cause ive never seen any of this
And then, you go side with the goblins, and slay the whole grove, her with them. 2 bards with one savescum >:D
This sounds like standard cheese, but knowing Larian this was on purpose.
So does alfria continue on alive as normal or does she bug after this?
Man i think she left after i killed all the goblins, i didnt know abt this. My character would have rocked that cape
Only thing I know about durge is the squirrel and alfira so cheers for this, didn't wanna kill her since I found her in act 3 on my last playthrough and she was just chillin
Bro you look like Aragorn that so cool
thank, freaking, GOD! I was so sad when i started the playthrough, I met alphira and played with her on he lute, and then... my Durge unalived her((( i wwas destroyed... absolutely destroyed...((
You a real one for that
Damn they really did think of everything
EYYY this worked tysm alfira is so sweet + my fav npc
killing alfira made me so sad, bc i was playing the dark urge on honour mode, i thought ''hey, a bard companion ? thats neat'', imagine my shock when not only i killed her bc dark urge, but to discover she was never a possible companion anyway.
In my Durge play through I slaughtered the grove, so I got Quill anyway
I guess we all have more love for Alfira than an NPC literally made to die.
Apparently doesn't work anymore with latest Hotfixes! I did test it, unconscious Alfiras. Scene still played out as if it was supposed to be Alfiras; reported bugged scene.
Same here. Tried knocking her out many times, couldn't do a one-hit knockout either, and finally gave up. Shame she can't stay temporarily in camp as our friendly bard bc I really liked her songs, r.i.p. 🥲🩷
You 100% do not have to talk to withers.
Aw goddamnit, we get a dragon bard and her only reason for existence is DYING?!?
Noice, I'll be doing this for my good Durge run
There's a Fist(?) in Act 3 looking forward to the arrival of Quill 😢
How to save her from you killing her in your camp :
Kill her before she's in camp.
Now if only other women would believe me when I try to save them by knocking them unconscious.
lol thank you for this! I really didn't want to kill Alfira.
I couldn't land ~20 melee damage in one strike for the longest time, it helps if you enter turn based mode just to use other spells like Hold Person just to score a critical hit
Bro wants to attack everything XD
The first time I played this game, I killed the tieflings (including Alfira) and met Quill.
God was I confused how people kept mentioning Alfira. Alfira Alfira Alfira.
I came to this moment spoiler free...
I thought "huh, that's cool, this has never happened before. Sweet, I like this girl and she's just gonna be a camp follower now."
===2 minutes later===
Oh god...what have I _done?!_
need this. after finding out she and her gf make it to Baldur's Gate in my first playthrough, i cant bring my cold dead heart to kill her
What a glorious non-lethal kill lol
Probably the only time non-lethal actually works in this game.
Cool now I can get the Potent Robes as Dark Urge.
you broke the game.... 😂
Larian: NOPE he FIX it
You don't need to speak to Withers to get the cape; I hadn't met Withers yet when I got it.
How? Lol
It worked. Thank you!
You only delay the inevitable
Last time i did this i got Quill like in the video but Alfira never showed up to act 2. She was still alive in the grove.
Do you do this when you are done saving grove or what because i just fid that and it did not give me the cut scene so should i do it when its at the end of the save the grove or not
Omgg I did this because I liked Alfira so much in my non-durge run.... but the dialogue you get with Quil is worth it alone. She screams "death flags" but they had a ton of fun writing this little side character 🥲
big thanks for the tip!!!
With this can you still get the best armor for eldritch blasters even on dark urge? Or Alfira is still treated as dead by the game?
Which armor are you referring to? Is there an armor that you get by talking to Alfira?
@@Mikestation707 It's an act 2 quest if you side with tieflings on act 1
I must know if it's possible
My only question is this (as it wasn't _specified_ in the video) does saving Alfira this way makes you able to get the potent robe later? Or does this affect future interactions?
Astarion disapproves.
i knocked Alfira out, went to camp and took a long rest. but nothing happened. i had no event lined up and no one came. What is wrong there?
The same issue.
I found this out on accident, but you can attack the grove and get the substitute girl. No idea if the original survives though.
Nice looking Tiefling bard dies: Nooooo!
Some random lizard woman: Eh.
Its not about "good looking bard". It is harder choice because Alfira has an actual background and character well written that we as player are care about her. Which is why she is a good "sacrifice" For our dark urges character development. The dragon bard are someone with no background and no string attached to us, she's sweet tho.
If you do this, please, don't miss the opportunity to ask her to sing in dragonborn for you, it's the most beautiful thing ❤️
