I do in fact think that this is the best episode by far in the show, not only was it funny and heartwarming, but I like the fact that it was about two powerful beings that lived for 1000 years and how they deal with every day tasks. My thoughts exactly. I had similar questions in "All Bottled Up" when Spike said that he's going to find the Cutie Map and Starlight has never mentioned to him up to that point that the map is even missing :q
The moment we see Daybreaker is definitely going to go down as one of the greatest moments of the season, if not the series. It's the equivalent of the 'Luna's Future' song from last season.
This was a really good episode, definitely one of my favorites of any season. Season 7 so far has really been very good in picking about the perfect ponies to tell a story that they'd be the best at. Like with Starlight and Trixie being great for an episode on anger and letting it be released on others, or Applejack and Rarity with regard to honesty sometimes being cruel, Celestia and Luna are definitely the perfect literal night/day difference in two people who might be close not realizing what the other is going through. I also like how in these later seasons they've become more able to layer in subtleties and references in addition to the main plot, and all the little easter eggs people can find. My favorite in this on was baby Applejack, not so much because she was a baby, but because she was being held by two other ponies we couldn't see, but were around. Like, maybe two ponies that were close to her when she was a baby, but not around anymore, like, oh, I don't know, maybe her parents in their first cameo in the show?
I've said "This is the best episode of the season" with many episodes this season, but this one is possibly the best since Season 1, possibly my favorite of the series. Makes me wonder what the hell was up with that Fluttershy episode. It was so much lamer than the rest.
I can confidently say that the entire fandom had just gone nuts when they watched this episode. I'll be watching everyone's reaction. Can't wait for the other big reactors!
That's why I like to watch hyper-excited reactors ;) They make me enjoy the episodes much more than when I watch reactors who constantly complain about everything and don't enjoy the episodes. Because this is contagious too.

IN case you didn't know, a unicorn's magic is the same color as their cutie mark (or eyes in Flim and Flam's case) So Luna has Celestia's yellow cutie mark, yellow magic Celestia has Luna's blue-ish cutie mark, she has blue magic. Simple.
I saw a mistake on the animation, when their cutie marks were going back to each other, they lift up their wings, then they are closed, then open. Like, what? XD

[Ok I watched to much Fantasy and Scie-Fi but you know what i mean] p.s I LOVE the way Nicole Oliver voiced Daybreaker, you can clearly hear she had Fun speaking in a evil Voice " I never should've banished you to the Moon! I should've DESTROYED YOU!" so much anger in so less Words. It sounds so much evil, anger and sadist with a breeze of sassy "Ugh. So much Black. We get it. You're sad. You could really use some... SUN!". Tabitha does a really good Job as Nightmare Moon, but Nicole just NAILED Daybreaker. Well Daybreaker is actually darker than Nightmare moon. She actually shot fire- closest thing that could be DEADLY to others in this show holy shit, trying to KILL your own sister and everyone that get in her way, I think that's darker than Sombra's death. Only closest thing is the MLP Reflections Series is a alter version of her- She is the main antagonist of the Reflections saga or an 'canon' story look at the MLP Comic issue 20 Absorption of evil. She turns into a form that looks close to Daybreaker but it's called 'Solar Flare'. But I don't know if the comics are canon or not but that's the closest thing that happen close to this. Daybreaker (Probably my new favorite villain/ego) is.. just mind blowing- I was like "The fuck? What? What... what?!?- What the.. fuuuuuck???!!!" like my favorite princess turned into a piece of art!
