I love the fact that Luna fucked up with the field trip, and she CAN'T just go back and fix it because there's more pressing stuff that she needs to attend to.
It's good to show that sometimes, you make mistakes, and there is no making it right.
It also gives Diamond Tiara a chance to use her talent for good again! Getting her father to pay for the class' field trip.

Can I just point out that Luna had it harder than Celestia just because she essentially stayed awake for 24 hours? She was already half asleep when Starlight switched their marks. Considering that, I think she did pretty well.
Yeah, and she almost did all of Celestia’s duties fine. Meanwhile, Celestia couldn’t handle one nightmare. Yes, Luna did say she hasn’t seen anything like it before, but I think she meant what the dream itself was about. I’m sure she has to fight other dream things all the time

It definitely fleshes out clelestia and Luna those are my favorite parts of the show where we see the princesses are just like every pony else
This episode is no longer my favorite episode of season 7, but it is still up there for this season at least. Get more in depth with Luna and Celestia (Especially Celestia; since we have gotten more in depth with Luna). Also it makes sense as to why Starlight would be the one to be called; because as she said she's not bias like Twilight is when it comes to the princesses, plus other then Twilight she's the only one that would be powerful enough to switch the princesses Cutie Marks, since she's done that kind of thing in the past. Also I love Princess Celestia, I love Luna so much but this episode combined with Celestial Advice has just made Celestia my favorite princess of the series. Great reaction and can't wait for more! XD.
Actually.. I've been thinking a bit about Starlight and the princesses cutie marks.... The 24 hour limit wasn't done yet... and Starlight even remarks on how she's NOT the one changing their marks back.... Not to mention that for all of Starlight's magical strength we're still talking about messing around with the TWO most important cutie marks in Equestria....
I honestly think that the Tree of Harmony might've been putting it's weight behind starlight's magic to allow her the extra power needed to switch their marks ''just like that''... otherwise I think it would've been a lot harder for her to pull it off...

I loved this episode, i also have a theory about Daybreaker: We know Celestia IS the most powerful beeing in this universe, my theory is that she just cant use all the power or she will be consumed by the magic, turning evil and becoming Daybreaker...

It wasn't until now that I realized that Celestia picks up Starlight and places her in her own bed. I wonder what it's like to sleep in a Princesses bed? Since she was having a nightmare I guess it wasn't as nice as I would think.

This is my favorite episode as well, I am a pegasister and Luna just so happens to be my favorite Princess. I love how they chose starlight glimmer to be the best fit for the mission. It made things very interesting and a bit worrisome at the same time 😂

So had to watch this again. The look & actions when ya'll seen DayBreaker. Priceless. Heh heh. Dare I say DayBreaker is most likely a part of Princess Celestia. I am like ya'll I'd love to see DayBreaker return. I don't think any of the mane 7 or mane 8 could defeat DayBreaker. Not even StarLight as powerful as she is. I think the only way they would win was if they talked her down like Twili had to do with StarLight. What's everyone else thoughts? Just curious.
I absolutely love this episode, it's currently my second favorite of S7. This season has been a blast so far and with the second half airing in AU right now, I'm excited to see what other awesome stories are in for us(other than episode 13, which I've just seen and couldn't avoid due to running into spoiler images).
P.S: Daybreaker is freaking awesome!!

Definitely one of my favorite episodes. It's up there with the season premiers and finales, which is saying something.
Just love the idea behind that funny episode, to show both of the royal princesses what their sister id supposed to afford every night/day. Really smart way to open up their eyes and to make them respecting each other again.
In my opinion it additional shows how powerfull Starlights magic actually is, as she is able to exchange the cm's of the two mightiest ponies of the whole kingdom that easily.
At least I think there would have been other options for daybreakers name (maybe Skyfire or Solarburst) just because I don't believe, that it's the very top of satisfaction to her, to just don't let the sun never set again, instead of using her fire blasting and heat controlling powers.

Hello, Armored Brony, and I am Carsen, the kid who told you about those cool MLP Comics and I think it would interest you to know that in the comics there are more appearances of Nightmare Moon and some good prequel stories, if you go to Legends of Magic Annual comic you can see Celestia and Luna when they were younger and being taught by Starswirl and Nightmare Knights is a comic series where Luna is the main character and this has to do with another dimension and she reclaims her title "Nightmare Moon" with 4 others serving as her Knights, I think you will like those and I enjoy your reactions
Please tell me what you thought about those comics if you did see them because I knew you liked Sombra so I thought you would enjoy the comics because they have Sombra and so much other awesome stuff which you would know if you saw it and I promise they are awesome

I was looking forward to yalls reaction to this one. I knew yall would be blown away heh heh. I have a theory that since Starlight is so powerful that even though all this with nightmare moon & day breaker happened in a dream. I'm thinking Starlight may have possibly forshadowed or predicted a possible happening with Celestia. Its so well detail that even though its a dream i keep wonder is this an unintention accidental prediction a great battle maybe? Its an interesting thought. And that sisterly moment at the end with Luna & Celestia. The Feelz Waz Realz.

Hello, Armored Brony, I was watching this and listening to your afterthoughts and one of your friends mentioned an Evil Celestia in the comics, and the comics are cool and i hope you see the ones I told you about and issues 17-20 show an alternate reality where Celestia was evil, Discord is more good than usual, Chrysalis is good, and the King of Equestria is I bet you could guess who, and those comics are awesome, all of them are like the show: Funny,cute,full of morals, and have very awesome stuff because the comics have great ideas that would just about never be in the show for example the comics I told you about apply to that #17-20,34-37,Fiendship is Magic, and a number of other comics that I won't list for spoiler reasons
