      I wonder if you will see this, but, my question is, can you use and leave flaxseed gel in your hair every day or do you have to wash it out daily?

    Made some Monday. Made it thinner to avoid flakes and it worked. I’ve never used this gel without flaking. Infused it while boiling with Amla and Hibiscus. Added Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Lavender and Rosemary EO’s to it once it cooled. It’s perfect!

    What about applying it to dry hair if you make it very thin and liquidy, like a slightly slimy liquid, rather than an actual gel?

    • @LotusFlowerLife
      @LotusFlowerLife  2 роки тому +5

      That's never worked out for me, it leaves flakes that way but you can test it out to see if that works for you

    • @angelkaterose

      @@LotusFlowerLife Thanks. Maybe I'll try it out of curiosity. The liquidy version worked great on wet-washed hair so far.

      @@kwilliams5728 I don't remember if I tried applying it more liquidy to dry hair, but I do remember that my hair didn't seem to like it to begin with. However, I know that some people love it, so I think it just depends on hair type, condition, current hair needs, and technique.

      3. Flaxseed Gel
      4. Air dry or diffuse (whichever method you prefer)

    In 5:15 , you said that you use an oil to get rid of the gel. Which oil do you use. And can we use coconut oil to remove the gel? And if we're removing the gel then why we apply at the first place??

    • @ciannacoleman5125
      @ciannacoleman5125 4 місяці тому

      Coconut oil is a VERY heavy oil, I have used it for a mask/treatment but unless you have super course hair please don’t use it as a general hair oil. Personally I really love using jojoba oil with some rosehip oil as a general purpose hair oil as it is light and close to skin oils

      Hi love, there are two ways I dry my curls when air drying isn't an option:
      1. Diffuse using the hovering method ➡️ bit.ly/3zy3Uqo
      2. Dry using my hooded dryer ➡️ amzn.to/3ENTcwQ
      the second option will cause zero frizz without much effort while the first option requires using a certain technique to get the results you want. Hope this helps! 💜

    White cast on hair after drying what to do after that

    • @LotusFlowerLife
      @LotusFlowerLife  2 роки тому +9

      Just use a hair oil to scrunch out the gel cast and apply it directly to the white areas. Having a white cast also means you didn't apply enough leave in conditioner before using the gel, next time use more leave in.
