I've never tested the Iracing but compared to others I feel the car in my hands and a sensation and adrenaline when driving that I've never seen before. The game just keeps getting better and better. Hugs from Roberto Brazil!
my comment has only one difference compared to yours: (everything before this is THE SAME) hahah:
@….. Mr. Honzik from Rookie, Switzerland! Thanks for showing ppl the positive amazing side of that sim after ppl tried to make it bad :) ❤
How many players are there? Is it easy to find full grid races?
In EU timezone i always found good online racing. And yeah LMU driving feeling, ambiant atmosphère are incredible
The driving feeling is much better than the LMDH in iRacing IMO. And the iRacing version is not implented with the proper hybrid system.
I've always had this feel that lmu is the corect way and everything else is too smooth. I mean just watch onboards that show the wheel. How many of yhem are on rails? The driver is always micro corecting and smoetimes sliding.
LMU feels like you're actually on rubber, rather than floating. Once the tires get to temp it's like you can feel them peeling away from the asphalt instead of skating around. The sound (!!!) and the feel combined is incredible. I decided to try it again after a few months for fun last Friday and it is so good compared to launch.
So glad to hear, will be trying it out this weekend. I play ACC and F1 24
There's not just A 24 Hour race at Le Mans, it's THE 24 Hour of Le Mans happening!
I think this game has massive potential. By far the most fun i've had on a sim. Most immersive for me too!
"ACC but for WEC" certainly has my interest. I want to wait until it's out of early-access to try but definitely keeping an eye out.
It's very solid right now. Rough around the edges but it's still very good for early access. Imagine what you could get for $30 in another sim, like 2 tracks and a car for example. Or like 20 cars and 8 great tracks. It seemed worth it to me, but it's up to you.
Wait another 6 months and then try someone else's before you spend a dime on this. The base program is arguably worse now than it was 3 months ago. My PC benchmarks in the top 6% yet LMU crashes at least once every 20-25 minutes. On top of that, their online racing is a joke. Starting out you get one, maybe 2 choices that repeat every hour. They offer two single class races ...this week it's GTE cars at Bahrain or LMP2 at LeMans. The only way to unlock more opportunities is to compete online....it's virtually unplayable
Oh yeah, their online racing infrastructure is so fragile that about 1/3 of the cars on track are generic 911 looking machines. It took me about 3 weeks to figure out why when I was racing in LMP2 I was getting passed by a GT3 car
@@juanesteban8827 it’s too keep people like you who can’t safely race out of the better way online classes, just like Iracing rookies, get better and you’ll have more online options. I run a ryzen 1500x and a gtx1080 and haven’t had a single crash since the update. Odds you have 100 bloatware apps on your pc and it’s already running like shit
@@juanesteban8827 its just people joining after you and you have to bind a button to reload the car its not fragile
Until nvidia or AMD don't have drivers for LMUs, performance will remain somewhat low for low PCs
@alkallata80 i7 10700K 4.8
gHz, RTX 2070 Super 8GB, 32 GB RAM 2933 MHz. 5120x1440 240Hz Samsung 57” ultrawide monitor. Is my PC considered low to run LMU ? Because I don’t wanna spent money for a sim I can’t run obviously. I’m on iRacing and with some low/mid/high settings I can run fairly well with good high FPS, only some tracks performs worse FPS wise but that’s an iRacing thing cause everybody has it
@@bmwM3M5M6you're fine im running it on lowest on a 1650 super with an i5-11400 and 24gb ram and a dell motherboard without xmp. your setup blows mine outta the water and i run over 60fps stable
@@ryanmazumder4535 Yes but what resolution are you running ?
@@ryanmazumder4535i had a i7 14700 f and rtx 4060 ti. My image have aliasing
@@bmwM3M5M6 1080
It’s becoming my go to, mostly because I love the WEC and IMSA races, there’s definitely lots of room for improvement such as hot keys to help out with pit stops so you don’t need to go through menus for everything, they also need to add the gaps to classes. And AI seems like they are fighting you as they get hit with blue flags with aggression turned up. I’m really looking forward to the GT3 cars though.
Jardier v Kevin Estre, the battle we all need to see.
Everybody is racing about this sim right now.
OFC, the new toy, will last 2 or 3 days like every other patch on other sims.
@@kurok1tenshiMost iRacers stayed
I'm a big fan of RSS/VRC mods but after trying Hypercars in LMU I cant go back to AC,they feel so robotic and easy to drive. In LMU you have to master every corner with those beasts
I feel the same, I still love AC, ACC. I still male skins for my cars for my virtual garage, but LMU is the rFactor 2 I always wanted to have ! I can't go back ! I still play AMS2 because the solo content and being able to play online with friends only is what I want for LMU too.
@SnaxDesAvions I don't take ams2 as a hardcore sim but yes it's a enjoyable sim to drive! The only thing I don't like in LMU is the GTE class, I enjoy them more in AC/ACC (i mean gt3 class)
I love this sim so much
The brakes are so sensitive. If you exceed the threshold just a tiny bit, you either lock up or snap spin.
That’s how it is
@@EliasWEC Testament to the sim's realism 😁
Load cell pedals and a lot of practice - You wont make a single lock up during race ;)
@cal50x Not necessarily. You can still lock up easily if your brake pedal isn't dialled in correctly or brake force is set too low. Practice is key.
so true, and since the last update i have a feeling it's more difficult to sort out the locking. Release the brake a tiny bit could suffice before to stop the locking
I'd like to enjoy it as well, but I need to wait till they introduce vr support... I hope they get it sorted soon! The game right now seems really good, and I need to drive something different from GT3!
The feel is very convincing,
the input compared to onboards is incredibly similar...
I emptied a full tank at night in the rain without the HUD, what a joy.
PS : Special effet on low for the best FPS / Performance / graphic ratio ! + 20 fps for me compared to medium setting !
When it was first released i thought it was going to be bad,but was pleasantly surprised with what they had achieved.
This is what RF2 was trying to be,they have added a layer of much needed polish to the RF2 base.
Sometimes you cannot explain what has been done/but when driving in LMU you know its right!
rf2 btcc cars on btcc tracks is equally good. Try it with the same setting and you will be suprised
Games like project and ams have made me fall in love with multi class endurance racing , that feeling of lapping and getting lapped , running your stints is just so satisfying
Is this game wheel only or is it playable with a controller?
This looks super realistic for Le Mans! I used to spend a couple of hours a day on a boring train journey, playing GT on my PSP and only bought that game to drive the Le Mans track! Does it have the old layout without the chicanes? It would be great if they added the historic cars such as 956, 962, XJR9, 787B, etc from the 80-90s to the game! Great racing, love your enthusiasm 😃
Team is working on 2024 content (4new tracks, all gt3 and New HY). For the future we can dream on ELSM, ALMS or historical content ❤ i would love group C était, 50/60’s GT...
I've only had 2 crashes in 35 online races and I'm really lucky!
Its the best sim game at the market!
Cant wait to try this one out
Did you know that Fonsecker made the sounds for LMU? 😎
no way !!!
@@SnaxDesAvions Yes way! And that’s exactly why it sounds so immersive. Stunning work by him.
The sound of this hmw is so sharp and crisp, especially on downshifts.
Hi everyone! I recently bought acc and I don't know how to play with the keyboard. There is no money for a steering wheel or gamepad. Therefore, if someone knows a good tutorial on how to learn to play acc on the keyboard, I will be very grateful!
I really enjoy playing Le Mans Ultimate but what really annoys me is how long it takes to load the tracks (compared to ACC) which mostly holds me back for playing this game full time. Personally I would love to see more liveries for the GT3 cars and more tracks. This game definitely has a huge potential and hope to see more cars and tracks (non WEC tracks).
Loads in less than 60secs for me. Yes it's not an Unreal Engine game...
I LOVE your enthusiasm. Really fun to watch, I bought the game because of this video and I'm subscribing. Keep it up!
My old pc has problems dealing with graphics, but still I enjoy this game.
Amazing sim. Having lots of fun with it. Really hope it makes it to full release.
Cześć mam pytanie odnośnie Le mans Ultimate wspiera on silnik graficzny Dlss 3 ?
I am so itching to try this. But I have so much money invested in iracing and limited time to race im torn. 😂
LMU is getting better now
❤❤❤❤ great potential… superb sound … worthy
worst game if ever played no ffb when lockup or oversteer in corner cant play it
are loadingtimes fixable? 🤔
Did the AI cars pit for wets?
You say you love it when casually driving but why not when competitively driving or is that due to online bugs?
Im not sure I would enjoy grinding it to the esport level, at least not now :)
I saw how pro driver drive and im like "hmm not sure I want to do the same atm" :D
Eversince I updated from 16gb to 64gb RAM, all crashes are gona. (5800x3d, Rtx3080)
Great feeling on this game. But last update changed the handling and default setups for hypercars and now I'm lost... They should also add the option for car-specific FFb even if they tried to normalize the FFB across all cars, it wasn't enough.
Absolutely love this sim! Physics and immersion second to none. Is anybody here still experiencing the hanging up when you go into setting whilst in the pit garage? I've had this problem since early access i know it was a known issue. Thought they would have fixed it with the last few updates.
I don't want to pay a sub
Hello jardier, can you share your ffb setting on simagic please ? Thx a lot :)
Game looks worth trying but put off by only 7 circuits.
+4 track will come this year + all gt3 and news hypercar in future DLC, but yes it’s official WEC game so don’t expect nordschleife here. But let be honest, 90% of simracer drives 5 tracks
You know that ACC had 1 car and 1 track when it came out in early release right?
This game is amazing, but the public lobbies are terrible. Especially this weekend!
Simply challenging and fun. As you said, it still has some problems with the stability, but it's definitely a great experience.
Can't wait to mount my xp1 pedals and test the new update, this week
The sense of speed from watching your race to mine is night and day, how have you managed to make it look/feel so quick?
I hope they add Group C and GT1 cars some day to this day. Those are the expectations for this game and I fear those expectations are way too high
Graphics look amazing 👍👍
Funny but you got really close to real life conditions there in the end! But the pro's kept it on the road with slicks :P
what changed in rf2 from rf1 what you disliked ? i don't know rf1
You sold me this game) After buying all DLC ACC and GT content in IRacing, I will buy this game)
Nice showcase for LMU, Jardier! I've been enjoying it myself for the last few days. It does feel great. I have to use some ABS though, because as you say, the braking is very sensitive and as I'm in a gaming chair on wheels and such, I can't get that proper brake feel or pressure, so need a compromise.
Hi Rusty O7
@@Maartwo Hey Maartwo!
Better than Acc for me, the online experience suxx though.
As of today im having game crashes on lap 2 at le mans
Wish there was an option to have a track thats partly wet and dry
Looks good, but I was afraid it would just go down like it does now. 325 people playing it, and they are now starting with paid content. They needed to capture a large playerbase, and simracers already have all this content. Until this game is offering a polished experience their monetization strategy will hurt it further.
So where do I get "all this" content with the same amount of polish? By collecting mods in AC from different studios that aren't balanced? Or AMS2 that has a fraction of the cars and tracks of LMU with AI that isn't capable of multiclass racing? Or iRacing that is heavily focused on IMSA and pretty steep in terms of pricing with a hybrid system that actually doesn't work like a hybrid system? Sorry, but if you want to experience a full WEC experience there is no way around LMU. It's the same case like with ACC for GTWC content.
its the ISI engine. Same engine as Rfactor 2. Yes the Graphics in rFactor 2 are not .... unreal level but the driving the cars are just better feeling than any other sim. Le Mans Ultimate is the same also. Just remember people are comparing LMU to a polised 5 year old Assetto Corsa Comp and a 10 year old Asseto Corsa.. just give it time.
anybody got the Thrustmaster T150 to work with this yet? Bought it day 1 to support the devs, and all I got was no FFB and expensive DLC for an early access game, so this one is on me I guess haha
I just boot it up and it works, make sure your t150 has all the updates
Just set a full formation lap starting from the middle or the back of the pack and love it 😉
Played a bit last night. Just waiting on VR support now.
Shame there is no daily races in that game liek there is for ACC, it would be amazing for LFM or WSS to use this game because all you need is servers, the game has everything in it already.
Not sure what you are talking about. Race Control is the online system and has daily and weekly races.
K,ljj
I had to adjust the graphics a bit, but I love it
Good to see S397 enjoying some success with LMU. The devs poured a lot of effort into rF2 over the years but with no real chance to turn around its fortunes. With LMU they've been able to cook up a new package with good content and driving that has earned many times more attention and probably income than before.
Hey mate - love your content! How are you finding the Simagic GT Neo after some long term use? I know you had an issue with a pre prod one braking so furious if youre still enjoying the replacement!
Love it mate! So far best wheel i have had so i hope it will survive 🤩
@@Jardier Thank you dude, just ordered one for my alpha :-) Take care!
i have no force feedback at all like i move the wheel while i drive and it stays please help
Adjust your force feedback sensitivity in game to around 120 to 150. That might help.
I love this game!
Really keen on this on VR!
Should I buy this while it's still in early access? Will I get some benefits from this or wait till the full release when the Season Pass drops?
dont think there is any benefit, so purely depends on you! Maybe good thing to wait :)
@@Jardier Couldn't help my self and bought it. 🙂
Damn I just bought Le Mans dlc for ams2 to race along with 24h.
Bought it too... Sucks. Lmu is amazing, no comparison.
@@co_li7300 Wait for 1.6 patch. The LMDH are actually pretty close to the LMU ones IMO.
This is a serious sim. Certainly not for casual driving. Forza Horizon is for casual driving 😄
4:00 "...like a casual gamer, this is great". That hurts.
I mean no esport :)
@@Jardier yea I thought that's what I understood. I was hoping for this to be a good serious sim, like u say "ACC for WEC". Maybe they'll fix all the problems in the future, ACC took a long time to get good too. Tho with rF2 remaining the same physics and FFB philosophy through so many years, I wonder if they would change with this one.

💚🤍❤
There is no FFB from the brakes. I can't drive consistantly. I know these cars have no ABS, but we need somehing to rely on, to feel the tires, to feel in the steering wheel whats going on - now I feel nothing, its like drive by heart only.
The brakes are way too sensitive as well. I've set my brake to 60 kg max and it seems 40 kg is enough to lock up the wheels even the brake-pressure was set to 76%.
@@Leynad778 they aren't that bad once you get used to how they like to be driven. smash 100% brake at high speed and immediately start letting off. if you have alot of rear locking try turning off the brake migration
There is feedback from the brakes… i use Conspit CPP lite hydraulic pedal paired with simhub and there is lot of feedback coming that tells me when i need to stop to apply pressure and just maintain it :)
@@nuztuz903 the thing is, I CANNOT get used to, I will spin sooner or later, its only a matter of time.
@@old-simracing-rookie I have Fanatec's V3, and there is nothing. I am not so much talking about feedback from the pedals, but from the steering wheel's FFB and specially the sounds from the tires, which is completely missing.
Game awesome
First!!
Great video! i like to see you enjoy it, but for some people this is the sim for serious races (Michi Hoyer is waiting for you haha), not casuals, i hope Studio 397 follow improve the sim, has a lot of potential and I hope that influencers continue supporting it so that S397 can release rFactor 3 in the future with all the improvements and more of LMU, would be great!
With all due respect if you think "LMU" is the "best" anything you've either never played anything else or are seriously impaired.
Not only is the base program highly flawed, but the way the game works (race starts, track limits, race control, penalties) is not based in reality! Between the crashes, the hardware glitches, and everything else it's unplayable.
Thats why I say best LE MANS feeling as of experiencing LE MANS :)
And also as said in video there is a lot of bugs and a lot of problems I never once said its the BEST game or best sim. But VIBE and Experience and Feeling WHEN IT WORKS is giving in le mans cars experience :)
Second!
What FFB settings are you using? Really struggling to get anywhere close to the excellent feel of grip in ACC. Le Mans Ultimate just seems to have a weird floaty feeling.
I have seen ppl saying the same, that feedback, especially from brakes is not great. This games is years from being an actual experience like acc or iracing
Nils has some detailed videos about this and he said LMU lacks the FFB for tires to know how much grip you have in different situations.
The Hypercars in real life are said to be very difficult to brake. You cannot smash the brakes just like in game. Hypercars are very difficult to drive and it’s nice that the game mimics it.
