@@rowancompen2052its down to lobby settings. Lobby has to be set up with multiple drivers in a car and then you can select a different driver for the car when you pit but you can also do multiple stint ofc if you dont select amyone

24:14 Real life lap record in a SP9 (FIA-GT3)-car is from Daniel Keilwitz in the 24h NBR-race 2023 with the Ferrari 296 GT3 (WTM by Rinaldi Racing No. 20) with a 8:08,006 in the early morning hours.
My best lap in acc is an 8:10:1 max got on the 24hour race yesterday his first lap in got an 8:09 lol. First lap! No warming up just stepped out of the f1 car. Lol

the fast left hander isn't the suspension bugging out, it's the car taking flight haha. with the minimum ride height being 70mm the merc is one of the cars that probably loses more downforce per ride height change so the setup is gonna have to be made to just try to regain all that front downforce. probably flip the arbs and max out the rake will help the car.
Yup, you're right. I found out soon after that the minimum ride height at Nords is 70mm, no wonder I had no front end😂
I think the ACC community got lucky with the Nordschleife. We only got it because SRO are now involved with the N24
I have been driving this in IRacing and it's almost a direct copy for as far as I can see. Nicely done
My experience with the Nordschleife is that minimum wing usually works better. Makes a huge difference in the 2 longs straights, and there's a good amount of corners here where having a more loose rear end is faster.

When you say you have to lift…does that imply you should go over the “hump” and then touch the brakes maybe combining a gear down shift?
This brings to mind that first huge hill on brands hatch, same idea?
Same problem ACC has always had, The suspension is waaaaayyyyy to stiff no matter how you try and set it up. The cars do not absorb bumps the way they do in real life and you can see it in replays. Compare it to real cars who move and shift all the time

Baldwin himself drove real life GT3 cars in races, and he doesn't complaint as much as u on how ACC cars behave. It's a sim. Go to the real one for authentic dampers, lol

You don't seem comfortable with the setup so there is a lot of turns where you lift (probably because of the car in general also). In the same turns, I went almost every time flat out with the Porsche 992. Yet your lap time is 15s better than mine.
So as you said, it's all about keeping the rhythm, I might need to "slow down" in some places to just keep this rhythm, especially after the Carousel.

Hey James. Have you experimented with aero here in the Merc yet? I thought lots of front splitter with low-medium rear wing would be somewhat decent if the rest of setup is tidy. That chundersteer in high speed corners is awful haha. I ended up switching to the Aston which feels considerably more agile.

Hey James I have recently switch from the bmw to the merc in acc and i have noticed that the setups I have used e.g hymo and mates sro setups and they have all had minimum splitter. I thought that you would have that on max to generate as much downforce to get to the diffuser. is the reason your running it and minimum so its not deadly at high speeds?
Before the update there was no need to run the front splitter, but with this new minimum ride height, it might be a good thing to dial out the understeer. Not sure, haven't tested it yet.
I need to wait for the console version, but I don't know whether to be excited or petrified. Probably both!

Hey James, I feel that if you run this track in the McLaren, you will be faster. That McLaren is designed for a track like this and you have the most seat time in the McLaren. Try again in the McLaren mate and I promise you, it will be quicker, easier to handle and you will enjoy it more. Good luck champ, cheers.

I ran acc on a r5 5600x and a 3060 ald i must say it was struggeling on the 24h nurbur so i bought a new pc with the r7 7900x3d and the rx 7900 xtx, it runs so smooth now on max sertings
8.13 as the very first Lap is alright i would say.
top times maybe are around 8.08 should be a top 100

I've tried adding some negative toe and slight adjustments to the arbs, worked decently well
For the McLaren at least it was a game changer to have rear 90mm and front 70mm. It’s a bit snappy but it almost eliminates the high speed under steer
Honestly there's a number of things you could try
Ive driven here on a open track day and its bumpy but the curbs are to aggressive in this game

You may need a softer setup and/or a bit more travel.
Too much rear wing on these jumps so the car pitches when getting airborne, a frequent occurence in rally :)

There's a bug at 5:00 when turning LEFT? Increase vSOC no more than 1.3v for zen4. USB hitching for AMD USB can be mitigated if actually reducing SOC voltage to allow more power budged for the CCD and I/O chip. And lowering EDC PBO also can increase stability of the infinity fabric USB stability for ryzen

Nords is a low downforce track. hard to believe ,but true
Makes sense. I get better times in a V8 supercar than a GT3, and that's with more HP, but thinner tyres and lower downforce
Your set up has more downforce to the rear than the front?? Cuz my gosh your understeer is insane
In my opinion for this track you need more downforce to the front! And less to the rear if you are comfortable with that.
Idk too much about suspension setup, but maybe a more soft one wouldn't be better for the bumps?
No his rear ride height is pretty high which means less diffuser but trying without rear wing could help
