    Thanks again for these amazing videos. I had no idea that the sets used in the period dramas were so real. I thought that they were probably " Hollywood fake fronts'. It gives me a new appreciation of period dramas. Its also amazing that you were almost the lone tourist in these vlogs. These vlogs will be very useful for any fan who wants to check out the background of a period drama that one is watching. You are to be thanked for walking around for hours in the heat to bring these historical videos to us!.........................But, most important of all, is that we have finally seen "The Queen of Drama Reviews" occupy the real throne which she so richly deserves!! Long live the Queen!!! She may not have a jeweled crown, but I doubt if it would be more attractive than the "Royal Hat" which crowns her so beautifully.

    I liked your comparisons between the fake palace and the real one. The Chinese dramaland (and no doubt the CCP) really deserve a lot of credit for building all these great recreations. They , no doubt, were very costly to construct. I wish they would maintain them better.........I liked the look of you on that throne! Long live Empress AvenueX !!!!

    Would you be able to do a video on places you'd suggest visiting in China, tips for Cdrama lovers to be aware of if we want to go on our own trip similar to yours where we visit sets and cool places? Also certain etiquettes we should be aware of like getting permission to enter or take photos etc? Suggested Seasons to go like Fall or Spring? It would be really interesting since there doesn't seem to be any guidance like this.

    Can people even still go to the Forbidden City? If its so run down, cant the government fix it back up?

    • @michellec8522
      @michellec8522 Рік тому +1

      Yeah I was just there this week. They currently limit the # of visitors to 30,000 daily and you ideally need to buy a ticket online at least 7 days in advance or you’re probably won’t be able to get in (esp during peak tourist season). You can go and tour it but you can’t go inside most of the buildings and sections of it are cornered off. I am sure the government could and they have done some fixes, but they can’t do too much if they want to preserve it as it was.
