Spot on, but I need to mention this. If you like to keep your baby clean, you must have a cover. It is a must especially during the spring when all the pollen is falling! I keep mine in the garage and it still gets covered in the dust and pollen. The bike cover is a must for my area of the world!
i had a early 84 flt. it was red with the brown seat just like yours also it had the chrome bars around the bags. i took my pipes off and put drag pipes on just wanted little more noise.
If you’re going to use a leaf blower a blaster a master blaster, any type of forced air on your bike. You need to be aware if your speakers do not blow air into your speakers, too much air pressure and it will blow those little Harley speakers right out. So make sure you cover them. I use a towel when I’m using forest air on my bike. Have a good Jack you need to inspect your tires before every ride for cracks nails. And if you’re a woman is riding with you, she needs to show her boobs. Boobs are very important when it comes to Harley Davidson’s because we all love boobs.
Spot on. Part of me thinks the reason newer Harleys need a charger is that they put cheaper batteries on the bikes now. I don't have the same problem with other makes.
Yeah quite possibly! I love Harley but they definitely cut corners on some stuff! The alarm they use has a pretty big draw on the battery so probably could do better!
@@tubbyglide6859 I bought a 4 year old evo wide glide .( had it 18 years ) I had it about 12 years before the battery died .I was in contact with the seller who became a friend , He told me that it was the original factory sealed Gel battery .So it lasted 16 years . I always used it with a optimate charger in my garage.
Not bad ideas. Personally, mine is an older custom built (2002) bike without a lot of electrical gadgets. Never needed a battery tender (even though I have one for numerous batteries (vehicle, tractor, etc.) Also, I have a leaf blower that works well (180 psi). As for #3, a bike lift definitely comes in handy. Much better than just a wheel chock.
Yes I have 3 bike lifts .2 hydraulic ( one has wheels ) And one centre lift ratchet operated . In fact I will sell one hydraulic as don't need 2. Great for cleaning Fat Boy solid wheels.
What brand and model left blower is that? I'm interested. Mine is one of the most powerful handhelds around, and it's not even to half the cfm of yours (180psi = 1800cfm). I'm just under 800cfm. I can ALWAYS use more power!!!
Don't buy a bloody HD charger for your HD from the bloody dealer There are many others trickle chargers out there. Weird I don't need one for my 14 Victory, or the Kawasaki.
The HD one does well to be fair and was similar if not cheaper than some of the other big brands, I have a couple in the garage but the HD one hasn’t failed me yet! Touch wood!
@@tubbyglide6859 this depends where you go, here we get zero deals, except when you purchase more than 300$ you get a cheap ice box that does not last one trip.
Good luck finding parts for that 14 victory five years from now if something ever fails. I think Polaris made a mistake with keeping the Indian and ditching the victory! I liked the victories better!
Good things to have. A leaf blower works very well for drying
Number one on this list should be a service book for your specific bike.
Bike lift on wheels are pretty cheap and a must have
I live in the desert. We ride all year long. We have 2 seasons. Very hot and hot.
I’ve got a center stand for my ultra limited. Works great. Bike stands straight up.
Agree on the Blaster....is one of the best purchases for my bike. :)

Many in uk don’t have a garage with electricity so a small solar panel attached to the roof is a good buy for use trickle charging battery over winter
Thanks man good advice. I would have liked some info on that whew chock and how it works the brand. Maybe you can add it in another video.

Love the Payton jersey. Go Bears!!
You go bother, I have a bagger center stand.
Thanks for the support dude
These are 3 things any motorcycle owner should have, not just for Harleys...

My Challenger requires a tender. The obd takes power on or off.
@@tubbyglide6859 I agree. I have a 2002 Heritage Softail no alarm and a 2016 Road Glide special with alarm. The alarm pulls juice. Ride safe Brother.

I've owned 3 Harleys, all big twin shovelheads. You must own a truck to haul them, lol.
Brilliant!! A few friends have shovels and this statement is the absolute truth!

Yeah, need to get something to blow the water off the bike. After washing. Nice video 👍
I just use a leaf blower. Plus you can use it on your property as well.

If you buy the shirt, jeans and jacket at the same time the charger is free!
