i have one like that first one, it costed less than 10$ and has the option to be screwed in the doorframe which gives it a lot of stability, i had it for almost a year now and its still stable and serving me well
My favorite is the garden gym. It would be a great addition next to a swing set for when the kids are older. If you want to be a parent and own your home, that seems like a cool and safe option. And you could do different levels for different size kids.
Understanding how to actual train with the bar and bands is key to tour development. Also it would make a very interesting challenge for you both seriously.

@@patrickkhalifeh1257 with the drill, I meant if you need to hang them at your house. My parents don't let me drill holes, but our previous owner had this huge beam to hang a punching bag. I just put my rings in the hooks.

The cheap bars aren't actually bad as long as you buy ones that have good rating. I have a similar one and I managed to do pull-ups when I weighed 90 kgs without it ever bending or it ever feeling like I was about to fall, it also came with door hooks if you're worried about it falling, but it will require your door frame to be wooden as the door hook screws in
I've been using a pull up bar very similar to that shown in 10:55 and it's very interesting. I've been able to do pull ups even though I was 110kg (242 pounds). It does encourage you to be very uniform with the movement because of all the shaking. Honestly, that's one of my favourite pull up bars.

For the second one if you want to avoid it spinning open you just turn around so your natural twist in grip goes against the twist rather than with it.

1:55 pullup bar i have, and i just fell down doing muscleups, hit my back! Now sweating in November even in cool season! Not going to do muscleups again😅 on it , now even scare to do other moves.
I have a 15 euro door-pull up bar and rings for 30-40 euros. I can pretty much do anything I want without much compromise. The smith machine would be epic for a home gym tho ngl
Have both a Tunturi SM80 indoors and a K-Sport V2 outside. You must cement the poles of the K-Sport down to the ground (60cm below freeze line level). Then it will hold up as a tank. The SM80-s handle bars seem a bit too thick for my hand size and more difficult get a good grab and dips. I d say for a smaller palm/hand the K-Sport V2 are much more comfortable .
Just want say after wrestling season was done for me 2 years ago I pretty much cold turkeyed on my muscles and quit my max wide grip pull-ups in one set was 30 but watching youlls inspiring and very funny videos more then inspired me to get back into shape currently and I have you guys to thank for it
I’ve had the same pull up bar as the first one for the second type of doorway pull-up bars for 4 years and mine has no bending in the middle works great more stable than it looks and has never failed me. Highly recommended
for those thinking to get one of the first version: we had one of these and it worked really well. You can secure it really well if you want. However after some years we noticed that it actually destroyed the doorframe over time...
Had the same experience as you. Dad bought it for me when I was around 13. It seemed to handle my weight just fine, but it made the door frame creak the more heavier people tried to hang on it.
Gymnastic rings are my go to. I literally take them on travel and have them everywhere with me. You can use a lot of stairs, trees and more. Your creativity is the only limit.

The doorway no 1 pull up bar is actually the best I think, price and quality wise. I have been using that for 3-4 years now and it’s still in good form except for some of the foam. Browney and Arjen got the bent because they didn’t use a doorway as they didn’t have it. Great video btw!

The only slight problem is that the foam gets old after 1-2 years and the most used foam area usually tears off after a year or so, but that is replaceable and isn't too much of a big deal unless you use it too much. Although, I still would advise that brands matter a lot, my bar is from "champs sports" , and also be sure to check what size door is your bar going to fit in. I have been using mine for over 6-8 years, and it has no bending whatsoever, even the sticker of the logo is in place
If you're willing to put a couple of screws through your doorframe, you can go ways with those 5$ pull up bars. I had one and did pull ups off of it with a total weight of 365lbs.
I have the pullup bars on doors (the first you bought) What you did totally risky. But there's two separate small circles once you bought it, that you have to attach on both sides of the door. Screw both of it with driller. I highly recommend to attach it on wooden ones because the attachment is much stronger than cement.
1:14 bar is suppose to come with two small round metal plates to be drilled in each end of the wall/doorframe for more sturdy. Clearly they got ripped off and was not provided the two round metal plates.

That first one often comes with screws which makes it very safe, you screw little rubber bungs to the door frame & then the bar twists over them. I've had one up for over 10yrs no problems at all. You can find on Amazon.

After using it for about 2 years, I finally took the time to properly screw it in to the doorframe instead of having it hang there with friction fit. The manual says it can take up to 200 kg when screwed in. You do need a sturdy doorframe though.

And it had two mounting options. One option is with little studs that you have to screw into the wall, and the other one is with two cups that get 3 screws each (allows for up to 350 kg)
i had that first bar, but an improved version. it came with 2 cups that can be screwed to the wall where the bar ends go inside of. this way it can't just drop your ass to the floor. it seems mine was a bit better built too as it didn't bend at all.
