@@evrythingis1 They put so very much effort in, working on this besides their own projects with their deadlines *and* their day jobs too, that I find I just can't begrudge them getting a little financial reward from UA-cam besides what they've done for Ed. And if they hadn't put it on here, we wouldn't have got to see it. It's got me thinking about what I might be able to do for my friends.

@@evrythingis1 Would you rather he made his money and NOT do nice things to help people? By that way of thinking, anyone who owns a business should never do anything kind for anyone related to their business because the kindness also comes with profit. We should all be so lucky as to be able to make a living so that it frees us to do more kindness. How would appropriate kindness look in your eyes?

Ed reminds me of my own Grandfather, he was a wise old soul but a man of few words. He only spoke when he deemed it absolutely necessary, and it was always worth listening to. The only time I ever saw him tear up was when we surprised him and Nanna on their Golden wedding by completing the Royal Albert china collection they'd been amassing for their entire married life. I miss that man, I truly hope Matt and his friends and family understand how precious it is they have Ed in their lives and I hope they treasure every moment.

I've been watching this channel for a couple of years now. When I first discovered Matt's off-road recovery there were only about 10 or 11 videos, and he had a lot less gray in the beard. During this restoration, I watched and discovered every channel that participated and became a fan of theirs as well. I'm an older guy myself and what you all did for Ed brought a tear to my eye. You are all amazing.

I salute each and everyone of you for the passion, love, kindness, generosity, selflessness, and genuine care you have for Ed . He means so much to each and everyone of you that participated in bringing this man back to one of his prized, and long awaited possessions. I have seen every video and still remember his look and the story when he saw the Nugget out in the forest for the first time after all those years. To see his face again with it finished, reminds me how you should never put off making memories, because nobody knows the time we have left. Enjoy every moment you have with Ed. Ed, enjoy every moment with the Golden Nugget and the people you love. I love all of you. I hope some day, I can be in a situation to do something similar for the ones I love.
