@@marlbelisario8487 me too, mods in these games are annoying, hard to install in multiplayer and I don’t want to see the console, but rain damage feels like a really lazy mechanic for me, at least add an option to wax the wood or something
Hi Paul! The play through has been highly entertaining and a marvel that it's been done without mods or free build mode! I look forward to your future content and have subscribed to your other channel.
After watching all your videos and tuning into a fair few hours of livestreams it's good to see the man behind the voice! I had thought Eastern European, but always been so impressed by your fabulous vocabulary, grasp of idiom and sense of humour in your second language! The quality of your English puts most of my fellow native speakers to shame!
Love the Mistlands - Base - it was quite an adventure building it, but so worth it, looks amazing! Love your content, you've became one of my favorite Channels to watch. Will for sure check out your other channel, it's always a pleasure listen to you!
There’s definitely stuff in your builds that I’m going to use. More so certain concepts than copying anything piece by piece. Good work. I enjoyed this video.
Happy to have seen the bases grow up and improve over time by watching the streams. Also, even with my hundreds of hours, I see there are still cool tricks to be learned from this video. Very nice. ᴬˡˢᵒ ᴵ ᵗʰᶦⁿᵏ ᵗʰᵉʳᵉ'ˢ ᵃ ˡᶦˡ ᵗʸᵖᵒ ᵒⁿ ᵗʰᵉ ᵗᶦᵗˡᵉ
Greetings and salutations Paul! Your livestreams kept me entertained during many of my work days (as background of course) and it great to finally see all of the bases at once. Thanks again for the amazing content and I can't wait to start listening/watching your newest channel. Cheers friend!
Great to meet you, Paul 😁 you reignited my passion for valheim, and gave me something to look forward to with the streams. Thanks for the content, mate 👍
The fire is marked as dots, and the minds marked as fires really cracked me up even before the comment. When I played through the game, the first time, I stopped using the fire to mark anything other than pyres and maybe, but probably not even, goblin camps. Everything else was either a portal for a portal, a house for a base, an anchor for an existing boat, but primarily everything was dots
I started watching your live videos for some background noise. But they were actually really awesome. I learned a lot of neat tips and tricks. Your videos actually helped me a lot. Would love to play with you sometime if you ever do community stuff!
That covered raft is a fantastic idea and it looks really cool too. The main base looks so good. I never focus on looks when i build bases in games like valheim so its nice seeing what they can look like when you know what youre doing! 😅
Thanks for all the help in learning how to build functional bases. Rather than typical "this looks nice" tutorials, most of this actually makes the bases so much better to actually use in the game. We just got to Mistlands in our first playthrough since the Mistlands and Ashlands update. Glad I saw the sap-sucker idea before I started building something else.
Hello Bananas, or Crate, or Crate of bananas, or… Paul. So happy to finally be able to see your bases, my ability to watch the streams faded around the great flattening age and couldn’t keep watching, I was able to tune in during the mountain exploration but responsibilities kept me from watching for hours. I was there at the beginning, when you were undecided about making a bronze mace or bronze sword. I wish I could make a donation to show my support. Hope you have a fantastic journey on youtube and possibly stream another playthrough once the game releases it’s 1.0 and deep north biome. Cheers 🍻. PS: You look like Michael Emerson 😅
Some people simply amaze me but you just blow my mind. I have thousands of hours in this game (yes I said Thousands) and have played seed after seed trying to improve my style of building and overall gameplay. I still fail to come close to the builds that people create. But hey, a box with a fire and bed works, Right? I saw your "Dreamhoue" build and yes I build it on all my playthroughs now. Such a great build so, Thanks for that. I always give props and kudos when due and you, You deserve a lot of both. I enjoy watching you play and build and showing us that even with a spectacular build the struggle is real in Valheim even for the most adapt player. Keep up the great work and I look forward to your continued success.
I love that raft idea! Tip for your dock: Put a cart shed near the wall between the two large ships. Pre-drakkar I've been placing it so that I can reach ship storage and cart inventory without walking.
Dude you builds are awesome, good inspiration for the next time I hop in valheim. I started a big project a while back for a castle on a hill but sort of angled and I think I bit more than I could chew as I kept running into problems and eventually decided to take a break.
I love your videos and just had a try on both the dreamhouse and the smelting factory! It would be cool to see a build of the harbor/dock in you meadows base too! It's so beautiful!
Hey man, these builds are awesome, I actually built your dream base but me and my brother are going to rebuild a new base using some ideas from this video.
Oh no! He's hot! 🤣 Nice to finally meet the man behind the Crate of Bananas! I watched some of your streams, from very early on (saw you catching that 2* boar), and you have a real talent for it! Love the chill vibe, the random banter and the relatable OCD. Will definitely check your other channel! Already subbed. Looking forward for more of your content.
dude i love your bases, i really want to play this kind of game with a person like you, i love to build and make this kind of things but sometimes is just too much time do it alone
very nice I like it, I like your buildings, I've been using your dream house for a very long time :) of course I changed it a bit, it's a large base with 2 cellars, everything takes place underground. I thought it was funny that you had pigs and chickens in the cellar to protect them, I did that too. Except for Loxe, all the animals are also present twice in the cellar. Of course I built breeders and farms somewhere else. I found the Mistland base a bit defenseless, but you could certainly do better :) but still interesting and inspiring.
He ,I know it's a little annoying or seems lazy of me, but would you mind sharing the map save with me? I would like to get a little more inspiration from your buildings and farms to do something similar or the same to play on a server with my friends. If you don't want to, it's okay, I totally understand, I won't get upset or anything, but they are really incredible constructions...
3 minutes in and u gave me a reason to built a raft! I did it only once in like 2500h of praying the game! Decided it's trash and never built it... but for this application.... I'm totally stealing that idea! I used stone stairs to the bottom before needs space and during a storm u can crash your boat into the stairs
Great end to the series Vic ! i remember discovering your series on episode 13 and since then i followed your entire series live. But, No Sap Tap ??? thx for the shoutout with Fortsvin :)
Regarding the sap extractors, you can leave them be, the roots do regenerate after a couple in game days, i've never had to uninstall / reinstall them.
Awesome stuff! I still use your dream house, smelter, and portal palace builds from the videos and they've been serving me very well. Where are you going to put the new mead ketil and food crafting bench when the Bog Witch update comes out?
If you don't have a programmable mouse, anyone can make a 25 E script with AutoHotKey F1::Loop 25 {Send, E Sleep 100} Paste that line into notepad, save as: all files: 25E.ahk, run it and press F1.
I’m confused why you have to move around this sapsucker at all. Maybe if you were playing with 10+ people and providing everybody with this resource? Because unless they changed something, you can literally leave it where it is, and it will just more slowly regenerate.
It's not max efficiency when you line your garden with boards. You're taking away from the square footage of your space. It just looks more organized, def losing output.

Indeed. Be right back, gotta redecorate my entire port area.
Just install the no rain damage mod to negate this unfinished mechanic

He probably only has 5 extractors, it takes a long time transporting extractors that aren’t in the mistlands area that you’re already in.
Very very nice
But how do you keep the game from lagging because high instances? that meadows base must be over 17000 instances
Won't the raft keep taking damage at the slightest wave?
What mods had been used here or is it full vanilla?
Could you, please, tell me what is your seed?
A base for the Deep North wpuld be great!
thanks youtube for suggestion such legend
the lox box walls and sap sucker settlements, try saying that 10 times fast

do you plan on releasing the save file for this world?
It is more intuitive to mark the surtling spawn with the fire icon, isn't it?
