Yeah all dungeons are high up in the sky this isn't new knowledge at all. People have been abusing this for ages with a chair clipping trough dungeon walls and a feather cape to travel far by flying. It is just that you guys found a dungeon that has a actual wall missing so no need for a chair i guess.
all dungeons are actually way up in the sky above the world surface. the entrance to any such place is basically a portal to the place in the sky. your infested mine here had part of it not generate properly and you went beyond it's boundary and fell back to earth. luckily there was water for you to land in, otherwise splat.
Eat lot's of health food and you survive a fall from any height. Falling further than 4 meters, you take 6.25 damage per meter. But it is capped at 100 damage.
I recently had one of those chase me out into the plains where it managed to subdue an entire goblin settlement, 2 packs of lox and several deathsquito before I moved in to finish it. Those things are so seriously tanky. And that discovery is amazing. I've had an encounter with a strange tar pool that had spawned in such a way that it overlapped a stream and was just suspended in the air like a slice of tar pie from the way it was shaped. Your discovery is far cooler.
Thanks! I would like to see your tar discovery if you ever get around to posting a pic or vid, I think it is a cool discovery as well. PS. yea those insects are tough!
@@offtime1163 I'll dig through my screen shots. I had shared it in the Valheim discord about a year ago along with the seed code so they could see if it copied over and it did.
I just saw your video and subscribed. That void was interesting. I think you guys should go back to it...jump off side by side, at the same time and see what happens and see if you land together or in different spots. I think...I'm not positive...but I think you both jumped off at slightly different spots. Maybe that's why you landed in different areas? It would be fun to see if you jumped together though. 😁
I think you are right about us moving a bit while falling or jumping from different spots. Here is another vid where we jumped again but this time at the same time and with capes: ua-cam.com/video/CrdfBFh36pY/v-deo.html
Next time you jump from somewhere insanely high, try to get your health above 100. fall damage is capped at 100 so no matter how deep you fall you will always survive any fall if you have more than 100 hp
Honestly, I have never really had an issue with darkness. I use OBS, what do you use? my valheim settings are set for "Quality" with motion blur turned off. I guess if a vid has turned out a bit too dark I would edit it slightly in capcut.
If anyone wants to see us jump into the void with feather capes click here: ua-cam.com/video/CrdfBFh36pY/v-deo.html
Dungeons are instances super high up in the sky, as why you fell through to the world.

lucky af u both landed in water lmao
indeed, I do also wonder if that the game developers set it up this way.
If you health is very high you don't die from fall damage as it is limited no matter what the height is.
fall damage is limited to doing only 100 at maximum. If your on the mistlands, you should have more than 100
Loki-"I HAVE BEEN FALLING! FOR 30 MINUTES!"
Voidheim
this was a better love story than Twilight

@ funny the things we forget. I haven’t actually played Valheim in a couple months
the fact you live going into the void is crazy bro
yea, we were lucky and I realize that now because I jumped again with a feather cape. ua-cam.com/video/CrdfBFh36pY/v-deo.html
Having fallen through the Putrid Holes in the Ashlands, it's interesting to see this from the Mistlands.

More weird than the sunken crypt entrances below water surface
Im going to jump(dont jump), yeah Im gonna jump(dont jump), should I jump? (dont jump), jumps....
For Science!

6:30 wow, coooool
Just a glitch... BUT with a mystical music now it is a magical void.
Really cool dude, really cool
I wonder how far you could travel in the world using the void and a feather cape
I should try that if the void still exists.
I jumped with a feather cape: ua-cam.com/video/CrdfBFh36pY/v-deo.html
this was the most entertained i have been all day thank you
It wasn't unrendered - the AOE attack of the 2 star Seeker Soldier destroyed the wall unintentionally.
I found one dungeon glitched liked this like 2 months ago but I didn't dare to jump because I play alone and dont wanna miss my items haha, nice video
Just listening to the story is already amazing
Thanks!
"Through fire and water."

The one and only time I've fallen through the map like that was also in an Infested Mine. I had the misfortune of not falling into water, however...
I found one of these too. I fell for so long then randomly appeared at the start of the dungeon
Also I had a feather cape
Really nice video i like the vibes. Playing with screen shake is a crime though :D
lol, I do turn off screen shake in games but I guess I decided to leave it on for valheim.
@@offtime1163 Im just kiddin, you play how you want ;)
how do you maintance the darkness if recording or livestream? this game give me the darkness in my stream
