thx for the Ranking! 1916 is very High for me too, Top 5 at least! No Voices in the Sky, 1916, Love me Forever, I'm so Bad (Baby I don't care), Make my Day, The One to Sing the Blues...and i love the creepy mood of Nightmare / The Dreamtime! :-) One of their most diverse Albums too! which is not bad in this case!
Good ranking, I'm not familiar enough with all their albums to rank them well but my top 5 would be: 1. Overkill 2. Ace of Spades 3. Another Perfect Day 4. Bomber 5.1916
Sure, I'll give my list. You're welcome! 23) On Parole 22) Motörizer 21) We Are Motörhead 20) The Wörld Is Yours 19) Aftershock 18) Bad Magic 17) Kiss of Death 16) March ör Die 15) Hammered 14) Sacrifice 13) Inferno 12) Bastards 11) Overnight Sensation 10) Snake Bite Love 9) Ace of Spades 8) Iron Fist 7) Motörhead 6) Another Perfect Day 5) Orgasmatron 4) 1916 3) Rock 'n' Roll 2) Bomber 1) Overkill Thanks for the video!
I think Aftershock is one of the finest albums of Motörhead’s career. So many great songs; Lost Woman Blues, Heartbreaker, End Of Time, Dust and Glass, and my personal favorite, the bass rumble of Going To Mexico. I agree some of the lyrics were lackluster, but as sick as Lemmy was at this time, this album is a fantastic good time! Enjoyed the video🤘🏼
I have always sympathised with Lemmy's frustration that the earlier albums claimed the plaudits to the detriment of the band's later works which, in his opinion, were much superior for example Sacrifice and Bastards as prime examples. Thankfully the band managed to garner some Stateside success towards the latter part of their career so hopefully Lemmy's frustration were ameliorated a little.
It hurts to see Snake Bite Love and Overnite Sensation so low, but then again, this is my favorite band of all time, and I have a firm, solid belief that they've never put out a single note of bad music in their life, even their maligned albums I consider to be sublime masterpieces. That said, I respect your opinion and I love the fact that you gave this band as much consideration and articulation as you did others. Glad I found this channel.
Great to see the criminally underated 'Another Perfect Day' ranking so high but baffling why the wonderful "Bastards" features mid-table and disappointing that the late period career high "Aftershock" is so low. Each to his own, etc!
Hi Barry! I've seen Motorhead a few times and always at Leicester De Montfort Hall or The Corn Exchange at Cambridge. My favourite one is from 1979 when they were supported by Saxon. To me they are one of the greatest bands of all time and I love all of their albums. I would also put Overkill at number 1 and as for songs, for me nothing beats the tittle track: Motorhead from 1977. Great video as usual, well done!
Interesting ranking. I agree with Overkill for #1 - the impact it had on me when I first heard it in 1979 was enormous. I am happy to see Another Perfect Day getting some love, for me its #4 after the Holy Trinity of Overkill, Bomber and Ace of Spades. People decided they weren't going to like it before they even heard it - for me there isn't a duff track on it. I was surprised to see Overnight Sensation and 1916 so low, to my ears they are better than Kiss of Death, Hammered and that era. I was happy that you mentioned Lemmy's bass tone on Bomber and Ace, its a shame for me that he turned more and more to the bass-free buzzy tone of the later albums. The later era records would be monsters of they had some real low end.
Another really good ranking video. Personally I'd have Motorhead higher than 8 but will inspire me to listen to a few of the later albums I haven't. Thanks.
I was sent this ranking video over night from a friend of mine. 1916 being so low is a bit odd, but hey I do understand why it would be lower in some lists. I have been wanting to do a ranking of these legends myself. Cheers and you have a new sub!
Overnight Sensation is one of Motorhead's better albums of their later career. Loved that album when I came out instantly, still love it. It's a hell of a lot better than Snakebite Love, which I consider the weakest, followed by March or Die. Overnight Sensation was the last Motorhead album I really loved until Inferno, which is fantastic, and I think We Are Motorhead would be a close second to Inferno. I think you could take any song from their 2000s output, interchange them on any album, and you wouldn't notice a difference. Their 2000s stuff is all too similar, but still good. And I absolutely love the On Parole album. It's a great 70s rock album. A different take on the classic songs from their "debut" album.
1916 is one of their very best, why is it so low? That’s the biggest surprise for me here. I like Overnight Sensation. No mention of Crazy Like A Fox? They have worse albums in my opinion. I also think We Are Motörhead is really underrated, better than albums like Hammered, Kiss Of Death and Motorizer etc. Each to their own though.
Motörhead my favorite band of all time and yes I am pissed I'm never going to see them in concert. I dont think they ever made a bad album but there is of course some I like more then others. Ive always been partial to the original trio of Phil Lem and Eddie and I can pop any cd from Motörhead to Iron Fist and enjoy all the songs
Absolutely sterling analysis, regardless of some different choices in the ''if-I-were-you'' department. No questions about the top shelves you pointed out, but as all ''metal scholars'' thrive on detail, I'd probably outline your esteem for Iron Fist, which I share. It's a chock-full of an album that totally met my expectations, in the aftermath of 1981's midsummer's night metalhead wet dream of a live album. I guess most of the times, public opinion, well-informed or not, relies on collective cliché, and Eddie was being daunted by the fan hordes as a ''traitor to the cause'' (which he wasn't at all...). His job as producer here is quite wholesome and makes the album rock. Whatever ranking one may give it. it should be above ''middle-of-the-chart'' , for this album comes as a whole, tracks well shuffled indeed and still hot from the oven. To finish off, another wise remark is the one that points out Hawkwind's ghost hovering above ''Motorhead'' and ''Overkill'', which just denotes not one iota of the ''lysergic cosmic prophets'' influence over Ian Fraser, but, on the contrary, translates as his own collection of ''signature tracks'' , salvaged from a messy case of spite. mistrust and ultimately betrayal. One could tell Lem resented the sacking. And as we all know the rest of the tale, yes, revenge is a plate best served cold, bad magic or not. For the man who snarled ''I don't need religion'', it's blissfully ironic that he'd become a god, much against his own witty and highbrowed will. But he did. I've just subscribed your channel. Thanks.
An enjoyable and thorough ranking thank you! I adore Another perfect day, it's a personal favourite. I absolutely agree with you on Inferno, but I would place Sacrifice on a par and 1916 above those. I still need to make my way through the very late stage albums; I shall definately be using your ranking for reference. Thanks again.
Great show, Barry!! I will use your current recommendations, mimic' d here in your excellent ranking. I will begin my dive into Motorhead with Orgasmatron, Overkill, and Ace of Spades. I neglected to interject that I make a wild purchase of "Aftershock" back in 2013, and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. To be honest, until watching these two videos, I forgot that I even had it. Keep up the great work!!
Good video I've always held off trying to rank Motorhead because I knew just like Maiden Sabbath and Rush it would be very hard to do so but after some binge listening I figured I'd try to do mine. 23. Snake Bite Love 22. Inferno 21. Rock n Roll 20. March or Die 19. Bad Magic 18. Sacrifice 17. World is Yours 16. Kiss of Death 15. Overnight Sensation 14. Another Perfect Day 13. We are Motorhead 12. Motorhead 11. Motorizer 10. Aftershock 9. Bomber 8. Hammered 7. Bastards 6. 1916 5. Orgasmatron 4. On Parole 3. Ironfisr 2. Ace of Spades 1. Overkill
Bastards should be top 3 or 5 imo. Lemmy said Sacrifice was his favorite; maybe Lemmy knew a bit about what is best Motorhead music? Sacrifice-Sex and Death-Over Your Shoulder is pretty strong start for any album, ever. I also think 1916 should be much higher. Title track is special. And 1st four songs = The One to Sing the Blues-I'm So Bad-No Voices in the Sky-Brazil is also incredible start for any album. March or Die needs to be last. But I loved Motorizer too & liked to see it appreciated here. I think Overnight Sensation is better than described here. But I suppose there can't be a 21 way tie for #1, with Snake bite love=22 and March or Die 23. PS I like Lemmy's vocals high in the mix on Rock n Roll, though somewhat weak album. You get the full whiskey-cigs-phlegm effect on Cradle to the Grave, others. Really like his vocals mixed like that. Miss them.
Over Night Sensation. I have black marker pen lamb chops and Sun glasses . I love that album. Motorhead never did any bad albums . Enjoy your channel 👌😎😍
It's almost like Motörhead have such a diverse discography that many fans will get upset no matter what you pick. I love 1916 but I can understand why it's not everybody's cup of tea. That's the beauty of Motörhead.
As ever, a brilliant ranking video, and no easy task having to rate all 23 of Motorhead's albums! What made me comment, however, was your very positive review of Another Perfect Day - for me, one of the best Motorhead albums. Having first got into them with the Overkill album, I loved this, Motorhead, Bomber and Ace of Spades. Slightly disappointed with Iron Fist, which seemed to take a bit of a backwards step, but then APD came out, and WOW! A real step forward, both in terms of songwriting and performance. For me, it was a shame they didn't continue down this path, as following this and Orgasmatron, I started to lose interest, at least with their studio output. Still a great band, with an iconic frontman.
I saw Motorhead on the Bomber, Ace Of Spades and Iron Fist tours, I agree Overkill is number one, I also loved Another Perfect Day wish I saw them on that tour. I also had a copy of the 1st album with the swastika.
Yup. Switched the video off at this point. Didn't he also refer to a track called I'm so SAD baby I don't care. He should leave the Motörhead rankings to Motörhead head fans....
Ive always liked Orgasmatron despite the weird production. Favourite is still Another Perfect Day (saw them on that tour) also Bomber, Ace Of Spades, Overkill, Inferno, Bastards and Iron Fist.
Thank you Peter. How's the channel coming along? UA-cam is quite a difficult place to succeed now especially since the algirhytmic shift that happened at the start of the year.
My top 10 Motörhead albums: 1. Iron Fist 2. Ace of Spades 3. Bomber 4. Orgasmatron 5. 1916 6. Overkill 7. Another Perfect Day 8. Motörhead 9. Inferno 10. Rock & Roll
Oh bugger. That's the credit card going to take a pounding again 😔 I have a few Motorhead albums in my collection but that's clearly not going to be enough to see me through the zombie apocalypse. I have a real soft spot for Overkill as that was the first tour I saw the band on. I think you're right, Another Perfect Day is as misunderstood as it is unfairly maligned. Brian Robertson, please oh please get it together with a brilliant band and DO SOMETHING!!
I love at least one track on at least every single one of these. Loved them since I saw them on the Young ones. Totally unsurprised at the shock people feel when the first one they heard didn't rank higher. 1916 should be higher and orgasmatron needs to be at least five spots up the list. ;-p But anyone that uses the phrase "sonic eclecticism" about these guys is ok in my book.
Really like Motorhead and need to get more into their collection. I have 1916 and Ace Of Spades and that is as far as I have got with them. Lemmy just exuded metal and he is missed big time.
Pick up any of the albums with the original line up of Lem Phil and Eddie. This whould be Motörhead to Iron Fist any of those rock HARD. I personally think you cant go wrong with any of those. Id also recommend Orgasmatron and if you can find it the two disk set of Best of Motörhead. Its forty tracks from all the eras of Motörhead and being a comp album its a good way to introduce yourself to a lot of their stuff
Let’s get one thing straight right now! There is no such thing as a bad Motörhead album. They can only be ranked according to favorites. My all-time favorite is Another Perfect Day due to it’s melodic sound and I love Lemmy’s singing. As Motorhead get better with age their final three albums were all masterpiece; their last 6 albums actually were all amazing.
Actually, having not heard it before, and out of morbid interest because it came last, I have just listened to Overnight Sensation for the first time. I have to say, I really liked it! Certainly not one of their best, but far better than I was expecting. Civil War, Don't Believe a Word, Listen to Your Heart, the title track - all solid, and I think it is a good thing that a few tracks sound a bit different. Still a very good ranking, and just goes to show how personal music tastes are, even within the relatively tight confines of a band like Motorhead! Scorpions next, please, or maybe The Doors?
You can’t go wrong with them, but they do suffer from same-song-syndrome every now and then. My list is also very unconventional. But I really love Overnight Sensation, and Lenny loves it too! 1. Overkill 2. Overnight Sensation 3. Another Perfect Day 4. Bastards 5. Inferno 6. Sacrifice 7. Orgasmatron 8. Iron Fist 9. 1916 10. Ace of Spades (ooh, controversial, I know lol) 11. Rock ‘N’ Roll 12. We Are Motörhead 13. Bomber 14. Kiss of Death 15. Hammered 16. Motörhead (the debut) 17. March ör Die 18. Aftershock 19. Bad Magic 20. The Wörld is Yours 21. Snake Bite Love 22. Motörizer
Such a shame regarding Orgasmatron. Fantastic songs but It's like listening to an album whilst standing outside of your car. Great review, #1 and #2 other way around for me.
I dumped a playlist of all the 'Head albums on my iPod recently, have to admit most Motorhead 90's onwards I'd never really paid much attention to before other than Motorizer (mainly for Runaround Man, which is one of my favourite 'Head tunes) and listening to "random" selections has made me want to check out the whole albums. Even Overnight Sensation, which I thought looked like an MFP compilation from the awful artwork. :) That said... the "best" is still one of the 3 piece classic era albums.
My favorite is No Sleep til Hsmith. As far as studio albums go, Orgasmatron is my favorite, followed by Sacrifice, Bastards and We Are Motörhead. Motörhead was one of the few heavy bands in the 90s that werent confused and kept cranking out heavy stuff. The late 70s albums have some classic tracks, but songs like Step Down or I’ll be your sister are imo god awful, very uneven albums.
Whenever you do a ranking video, people always argue that this album should be higher or lower... at the end of the day we all experience things and music differently and have our own opinions about these albums. And these videos essentially come down to one person's opinion. Nevertheless, I enjoy doing them, and my subscribers like them as well. I think some take people take them way too seriously and miss the most important thing, that is we are all listening to the music of this great band. albeit in a different order. And that's what's important.
Does anybody know how many album companies that this band was on?? At least 6 I think if not more.. I think that Lemmy pissed off a whole lot of people I am sure!! He Was Lemmy after all.
Well, I would put it thusly. 1. Ace Of Spades 2. No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith (yeah I know, not a studio album, don't care) 3. Inferno 4. Overkill 5. 1916 6. Bastards 7. All the rest...
Hey Jean, been into Motorhead since 1980, i always considered Overkill to be there 3rd best, i don't mind Capricorn, Metropolis and Tear Ya' Down but always felt they were weaker tracks.
@@zodiac6968 OK, I'm in motorhead since 1978 my dear Scott, maybe Overkill is not the first best but, in any case, it's my preferred one (maybe it's nostalgia after all...). So, what is your best one - and 2nd too? Just tell me, fan to fan...
@@zodiac6968 Thank you. I almost agree, another perfect day is one of the best and underrated and, frankly, for me it's better than ace of spades (in the whole of the tracks)
@@mescalito People ask me why i like Perfect Day so much, i say simply....songs! Funny Farm, Shine(top ten Motorhead songs for me) One Track Mind, Marching Off To War, i Got Mine.
@@classicalbum Oh definitely, it's all subjective. It's just interesting how differently people view certain tracks/albums. Keep up the good work with the videos!
Nah... I think the best albuns of this band are those from Wurzel and mainly Mickey Dee eras, the later works are f.. awesome. More Metal/less punk (Bastards, Sacrifice, Kiss Of Death, Motorizer, Inferno, Aftershock, Overnight... etc), that is how i like the sound of Motorhead. Lemmy is God, anyway!! R.I.P.
Everyone's going to have their own opinion, but personally I'd place On Parole much higher for historical interest alone, the debut album and Iron Fist higher, and Another Perfect Day lower. And of course confining the rankings to studio albums excludes No Sleep Till Hammersmith, which is simply awesome - the first live album to reach #1 in the UK album charts, I do believe.
Isn't it nice that some of the commenters claim you can't be a real Motorhead fan when they disagree with your opinions. So they're the true fans and only their opinions are true. Fanatical fans of any band are always so brain dead.
Hello! I have almost all Motörhead albums on vinyl. Weakest album is always March or Die. But the rest albums is good. Motörhead never release shitty albums my Opinion. Overkill is their best album.
For my money their best album is Motohead. It links the worlds of Squatter rock / Ladbrook Rd scene, the Hippy world of Hawkwind, Heavy rock and punk. It's unlike any album from the time and was what got me into Motorhead. Have I missed something or is it not ranked here?
I would contend that Overnight Sensation is one of their better later albums. Hard to argue with the rest - Orgasmatron may be 'sludge' but anything that features the monumental title track is fine by me.
I've never understood the hate for Another Perfect Day (although, interestingly, the comments here seem to be very positive towards it). It is my favourite Motorhead offering. Musically it is superior to their other albums; their most accessible album for the uninitiated. It's such a shame Brian Robertson was so weird and out of step with his fashion sense otherwise Lemmy probably would have kept him around longer.
Ace of spades gets all the praise but Overkill is their best. Over here in the States “The Chase is Better than the Catch” leads off Ace of Spades which I always thought was terrible.
thx for the Ranking!
Good ranking, I'm not familiar enough with all their albums to rank them well but my top 5 would be:

I agree, Overnight Sensation is one of their strongest mid-period releases IMO.

I do believe i'm a late-stage Motorhead enthusiast for which l offer my gratitude Barry. Overkill is incredible.
List makes a lot of sense..I'd have ranked Sacrifice a bit higher tho, I love that one almost as much as their late 70's early 80's classics.
I saw Motorhead on the Bomber, Ace Of Spades and Iron Fist tours, I agree Overkill is number one, I also loved Another Perfect Day wish I saw them on that tour. I also had a copy of the 1st album with the swastika.
1916 is a classic. top 5 Motorhead album, you really dropped the ball there.
Yup. Switched the video off at this point. Didn't he also refer to a track called I'm so SAD baby I don't care. He should leave the Motörhead rankings to Motörhead head fans....
Love me forever is one of my all time favorite songs 🎵
For each one, a different list... 😁
With how many great albums they have, any ranking will have at least one controversial pick.
@@dancomben275 why are you so butthurt about it? it's HIS list, not yours
Ive always liked Orgasmatron despite the weird production. Favourite is still Another Perfect Day (saw them on that tour) also Bomber, Ace Of Spades, Overkill, Inferno, Bastards and Iron Fist.
Great ranking, Barry. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I like Motörhead as they stayed true to their sound over the years.
Thank you Peter. How's the channel coming along? UA-cam is quite a difficult place to succeed now especially since the algirhytmic shift that happened at the start of the year.
@@classicalbum Going ok, thanks Barry. Just trying to build up which takes time. Trying to keep at it.
I like your videos. In this list, for me: 1 - Ace of Spades, 2 Overkill, Rock'n'roll 7 or 8, Motorhead near the end 😁
My top 10 Motörhead albums:
1. Iron Fist
2. Ace of Spades
3. Bomber
4. Orgasmatron
5. 1916
6. Overkill
7. Another Perfect Day
8. Motörhead
9. Inferno
10. Rock & Roll
1916 is much too low IMO It is one of the best Motorhead albums, together with Age Of Spades.
Great video and ranking! 🌟
I love at least one track on at least every single one of these. Loved them since I saw them on the Young ones. Totally unsurprised at the shock people feel when the first one they heard didn't rank higher. 1916 should be higher and orgasmatron needs to be at least five spots up the list. ;-p
But anyone that uses the phrase "sonic eclecticism" about these guys is ok in my book.
Saw them at Newcastle City Hall in 1982 on the Perfect Day tour. Anvil (Ha!) supporting.
What happened to Live at Hammersmith? Surely that should be on the list pure class.❤,agree with no 1 though.
Studio albums only
Let’s get one thing straight right now!
1.Motorhead 2.Overkill 3.Ace of Spades 4.Bomber. No question. I was there!
Everything Louder Forever, nothing touches it
I liek Overnight Sensatian and March or Die albums. Don't Believe the word is one of the top Motorhead songs.
Tend to agree, though I only have the all the classic lineup albums and Another Perfect Day. Definitely concur with Overkill for the top slot
Really enjoyed that...cheers 👍
I'll keep my eyes peeled for some of your favs. Overkill in 5.1 DVD-AUDIO is awesome, btw...
Orgasmatron is Lemmy's song for eternity and a fair bit of an ultimate comment on life by a preacher's son.
Man I love 1916.
It’s a classic. Just listened to it. Easily one of their best
Love Another Perfect Day - fantastic!
You can’t go wrong with them, but they do suffer from same-song-syndrome every now and then. My list is also very unconventional. But I really love Overnight Sensation, and Lenny loves it too!
1. Overkill
2. Overnight Sensation
3. Another Perfect Day
4. Bastards
5. Inferno
6. Sacrifice
7. Orgasmatron
8. Iron Fist
9. 1916
10. Ace of Spades (ooh, controversial, I know lol)
11. Rock ‘N’ Roll
12. We Are Motörhead
13. Bomber
14. Kiss of Death
15. Hammered
16. Motörhead (the debut)
17. March ör Die
18. Aftershock
19. Bad Magic
20. The Wörld is Yours
21. Snake Bite Love
22. Motörizer
Such a shame regarding Orgasmatron. Fantastic songs but It's like listening to an album whilst standing outside of your car. Great review, #1 and #2 other way around for me.
Ace is obviously No 1 but the last five albums produced by Cameron Webb are up there in the top six. Based on production and musical content.
ACE OF SPADES!!!!!♠️
My favorite is No Sleep til Hsmith. As far as studio albums go, Orgasmatron is my favorite, followed by Sacrifice, Bastards and We Are Motörhead. Motörhead was one of the few heavy bands in the 90s that werent confused and kept cranking out heavy stuff.
The late 70s albums have some classic tracks, but songs like Step Down or I’ll be your sister are imo god awful, very uneven albums.
No sleep 'til hammersmith
Now THAT is what I would play to anybody that never heard of motörhead...
It was my introduction to the band
@@classicalbum Same for me.
Watching rankings that are almost the polar opposite of my own is quite refreshing.
As a long time Motorhead live fan Wurzel was their greatest sound beyond doubt. As a four piece a much better band on stage.Loved them live anyway.
Thank you! ♠️♥️
Overkill is the best for me.
I saw them on the Sacrifice tour.Best gig ever!
Does anybody know how many album companies that this band was on?? At least 6 I think if not more.. I think that Lemmy pissed off a whole lot of people I am sure!! He Was Lemmy after all.
Had a drink and a game of pool with Lemmy, top top man.
Well, I would put it thusly.
1. Ace Of Spades
2. No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith (yeah I know, not a studio album, don't care)
3. Inferno
4. Overkill
5. 1916
6. Bastards
7. All the rest...
Sacrifice and inferno another perfect day are my top 3 motorhead albums
I agree for the first, Overkill is the best album. I don't agree for all... But almost... Good work, good ranking in my opinion. Bravo!
@@mescalito 1.Ace Of Spades 2.Another Perfect Day.
Lost In The Ozone a clunker!? No way, one of their best ever.
It's all just opinion.... otherwise everyone of us would be listening to the same songs.
@@classicalbum Oh definitely, it's all subjective. It's just interesting how differently people view certain tracks/albums.
Keep up the good work with the videos!
Hurray.. Been hoping for a motorhead back to front for a while. Might get a Metallica one next !?!
I Kinda missed No sleep 'till Hammersmith in here I think so many people of my generation learned Motorhead by Hammersmith album , great review though
Me too. It was my entry point into motorhead. but this is a ranking of their studio albums.
@@classicalbum indeed it is , and enjoyed it!
I'd personally have Bastards higher, damn solid album
First albums up to iron fist for me rifp lemmy Phil Eddie 🍺🍺🍺
My favorite band. Bomber always seems to rise to the top...
Best Album : *No Remorse* (compilation - double album)
👊
Everyone's going to have their own opinion, but personally I'd place On Parole much higher for historical interest alone, the debut album and Iron Fist higher, and Another Perfect Day lower. And of course confining the rankings to studio albums excludes No Sleep Till Hammersmith, which is simply awesome - the first live album to reach #1 in the UK album charts, I do believe.
No sleep is a great album.
It is my favourite too.
@@classicalbum Yes i notice that. But someday i think their best album is Another Perfect Day..damn good record too..
For my money their best album is Motohead. It links the worlds of Squatter rock / Ladbrook Rd scene, the Hippy world of Hawkwind, Heavy rock and punk. It's unlike any album from the time and was what got me into Motorhead. Have I missed something or is it not ranked here?
Bastards is my #1
hey, you forgot "ace of spades" ! ...and to "overnight sensation" i have to say: it´s one of their best!
I would contend that Overnight Sensation is one of their better later albums. Hard to argue with the rest - Orgasmatron may be 'sludge' but anything that features the monumental title track is fine by me.
I should add that On Parole is great too. Different, but great.
I wish they would re-mix the 'orgasmatron' album
No sleep til Hammersmith!
I think rock n roll it has to be on top 5
I've never understood the hate for Another Perfect Day (although, interestingly, the comments here seem to be very positive towards it). It is my favourite Motorhead offering. Musically it is superior to their other albums; their most accessible album for the uninitiated. It's such a shame Brian Robertson was so weird and out of step with his fashion sense otherwise Lemmy probably would have kept him around longer.
overkill forever
Everyone's entitled to their subjective opinion, of course, but compared to my ranking this list is absolutely bonkers.
I might think your list is absolutely bonkers
Yes, probably.
Ace of spades gets all the praise but Overkill is their best. Over here in the States “The Chase is Better than the Catch” leads off Ace of Spades which I always thought was terrible.
Vic Maile as in Mail...... lol
Weird selection
Why?
Why not.
No ranking of Judas Priest albums?
Not yet
1.Ace of spades
2.Bomber
3. Iron Fist
4. On Parole
5. Overkill
Too many albums with too many fillers
