REMEMBER⚠️ not everyone had the same hair so this might not work on you
Exactly like if your hair is on the oily side you are going to not like this at all it will make your hair way oilier and this is great for dry brittle hair
Anything in less or excess than required is harmful
Using oil before shampoo is same like using thermal protecting serum or cream before you use heating tools on hair
People tend to have oily hair for 2 major reasons
1st one being polution (majority times these days)
In this case you have to cleans hair frequently and regularly
And 2nd being your natural secretion or oils and other liquids through yours calp and hair follicles
It's up to you if you don't wanna use oil before shampoo but i can say with experience that no one has oily or dry hair permanently! As my hair used to be oily I started skipping oil and with time ( within 1 year) I realized my hair started to be dry and frizzy
Oiling dry and brittle hair is not going to repair them it's just a barrier between your hair and surrounding polution and chemicals we use on them specially to clean them
If you wanna skip oil you must use conditioner or hair mask after shampoo
Oil works as good as conditioner on wet hair in small quantity than the amount of conditioner we use
Just work 2/3 drops on your palm and apply to hair strands
@@nativedoll3557I have oily scalp and I'm using hair oils, that's how I grew my hair to waist length. Now I use rosemary scalp toner and essential oil diluted. The oil has to be washed out really well and no oily hair problem.
@@nativedoll3557My hair gets oily after 2-3 days as it's wavy and curlish when it dries out
Oil is meant for the ends, not scalp.
The squish motion is obviously better suited for long hair. For short hair, just run the conditioner through your hair and make sure not to miss the ends.
I have short hair and I still squish
😍😍😍😍
Do you still have to rinse after condish? How well ?
@Arlene Novelas yes all of its should be out of your hair then add a leave in conditioner after if you want
TY! 🤗
I have androgenetic alopecia and my derm told me never oil my hair. I think everyone should follow what works for them. Happy for you sister. Your hair looks healthy!
Have you ever tried the carnivore diet?
@@supernova777.77 I'm a vegetarian sadly. I was a vegetarian from childhood so it's hard including meat in my diet. I've recently started eating eggs but.
@octoberaurora9223 I'm in the same boat. Honestly, meat just grosses me out. I take amino acids daily. Dr. Julia Ross sells the best amino acid complex and she uses vegetable "gelatin" for her capsules. Vegamour also sells a hair growth vitamin with amino acids and copper. It's vegan. Just thought I'd throw that out there. If you're vegetarian, you probably aren't getting enough amino acids. I highly recommend getting your vitamin D levels and B 12 checked since they often come from consuming animal products. I was extremely deficient in vitamin D which can affect your hair.
Probably because when you put oil on scalp, skin becomes softer and it doesn't hold the hair as strongly as without oil, so hair falls more than usual in that situation, which is obviously not good if you have alopecia. When I comb my hair with oil in it, I lose so much hair, so I comb before oiling. After oiling I don't touch it at all until shampooing.

I find when I do hair oiling pre shower I end up staying longer in the hot shower to wash off the stubborn oil which defeats the purpose
Try using cold water instead. I was having the same problem, then tried the entire washing process with cold water. The end result was surprising.
I'm sharing my method which works fine always-
As I use homemade coconut oil just 3 hours before washing hair (I'm from hot humid country so we do often), I take hot water and use it to soften the oil stuck on my roots. Then I put shampoo cause then hot water saponifies the oil better than cold water. Then I wash with cold water. This I do for 3times. Try this and see if it helps.
You may need a new oil or you might’ve applied the oil on your scalp.
@@natedang8880 but applying it to the scalp is necessary
I don't know if it will work for you but I put the shampoo before putting water on my hair so the hydrophobic oil will mix with the shampoo and not stay in the wet hair, at least that is what I do even if I use more shampoo this way than when I don't use oil
I can see a lot of improvement in my hair. I 've been using reactivate hair serum of liittllextraa now 4 months. It has become a habit. Specially, very little hair fall that you can't even consider. Furthermore, my hair has now grown longer with new hair growth and volume has specially increased. I am really happy with the results.
Many thanks! I’ve been following the routine you suggested in addition to reaictivate growth serum for about a couple of months and my hair growth is noticeably dense.
I had COVID that lasted around 11 days. At first, I believed I was ok but I started to lose more hair than usual. Following some research, I am realizing it’s from the stress my body went through during that time and also the shampoo that I was using. So I began doing yoga and meditation daily and changed my shampoo and conditioner to littleextrraa coooconion anti hair fall kit. And today I don't face any hairfall.
Thank you for this video! I'm feeling so much more at peace.
I’m on another occasion I’ve bought this this coconnion hair shampoo since the product helped in managing my hair loss. I additionally use a hair scalp massager while shampooing. overall 5/5
Those are great hair tips but there are also 💜 :
1 . Always brush your hair before washing it and wash the hair brush
( if you dont wash the hair brush and after washing your hair you'll brush it with that same hair brush then all of the dirty oils will be put back into your hair )
2 . Do not apply shampoo on the ends of your hair because shampoo is only meant for cleansing so applying it on the ends of your hair is gonna cause you to have dry hair ends
3 . For a better result make sure that you apply the shampoo gently to your scalp massaging your scalp for a few seconds , instead of aggressively applying it through your hair .
3 . Always . And i literally mean ALWAYS use a hair mask for when you wash your hair and a keratin/argan oil to apply after you washed your hair .
4 . After having rinsed your hair with water , before getting out of the shower , rinse it again with cold water for the last time ( it is uncomfortable but this will give your hair a lot of volume and shine ).
5 . After you get out of the shower with your hair still semi wet apply your keratin/argan oil , from the medium to the ends of your hair ( never on your hair roots tho and if you do apply on your roots too then apply just a couple drops because if you apply more of it then it will cause your hair to get greasy faster )
6 . Do not brush your wet or semiwet hair ( back to nr 1 . ) and if you do brush it do it gently as wet hair is more sensitive than normal hair and it could easily cause damage to your hair unless you brush it gently .
7 . Do not use a normal towel to dry your hair . Use a clean old tshirt instead for soft healthy hair .
8 . Avoid using the hair dryer as its very damaging to your hair . If you have free time that day it is better if you let your hair dry naturally for a better result .
I basically gave you guys my washing hair routine but believe me when i tell you i dyed my hair 10 times during the past few years and this same routine allows me to have my long
( natural tho no extensions ) nice healthy hair .
Hope this helps ,
Have a good day 💜!
Thank you, Anna 😍
Great tips!
2 is wrong.
Source: my hairdresser.
@@urmom4618 nr 2 it is not wrong , it was a thing i found out from a UA-camr named BlowoutProfessor who is a hair stylist/hair dresser . And he turned out to be right because i used to get dry hair ends all the time untill about a week ago when i found his channel and found out i had to stop applying shampoo on my hair ends . After i stopped doing that my hair ends are not dry anymore , but , nice and soft .
So keep in mind im speaking from my own personal experience here!
@@teddytheragdoll It is. At my salon, the director laughed in a girls' face when she asked the same question. It was quite funny.
And my own hairdresser explained that it was wrong because while you should focus on the scalp, putting shampoo om the ends does no harm. Same with conditioner on your roots. You should focus conditioner on the ends of your hair but it does no harm at your roots.
Being from India, mother used to taught me to do this as routine and my hair health is very good and my older generations too. There are more things to be taken care of and also gene Plays an important role.
All true, as a fellow Indian
As an Indian, I just have good genetics. I don’t need to do this nonsense.
@@bloodline1158it's not nonsense... It's called looking after your body... If that's how you feel.. what you doing on this channel 😂😂
@@pammir631I look after my body but I don’t go around saying it’s because of doing all these things. Yes, that can help but it also depends on genetics. Somebody needs to go to biology class again.
Rinse your conditioner out with COLD water helps too!
Oiling and mild shampoo/shikakai were basic hair washing methods in many people mostly in india😊
Ikr. Its crazy to me how people worldwide have started appreciating oiling hair only recently & we've been doing it here for ages now!
And from what I've heard multiple times Indians abroad were made fun of for oiling hair.
@@kingdomofthecloudsandthestars You oil hair an hour/few hours prior to shampooing, instead of oiling your hair everyday and going out with the oil still sitting on your hair. Given the mostly tropical Indian climate, organic oils turn rancid quickly in the hot weather and mixed with the sweat on your scalp, is a very stinky combo! Just bc it was practiced in the past by people long gone by now, doesn't mean you have to repeat it without applying some common sense.
As a black girl I remember getting called dirty for doing this and now suddenly it’s a trendy and a “secret hair tip”
@@kennyb1588its only 'dirty' if you leave the oil in your hair because it stinks! Thats just fact.
You're supposed to wash it out. The conditioner should be enough or fragranced oils

Do NOT GO SWIMMING without wetting your hair first!!!!!
I literally just learned this and I am 55 and have had a pool since my parents got us one when I was 8.
My grandbabies and myself will be getting our hair soaked before getting in our 35,000 gallon hair destroyer this summer!!!
You're telling me people don't take full showers before going in ?
Does this apply to natural bodies of water?
@@therealmissglamBAM I would say salt water would be a good idea to spray water to soak hair as well as Chlorine in a pool. We are just going to keep a spray bottle of purified water outside by the pool all season this year and yes when we go to the ocean!! : )
@@mimoleta Why would we take a full shower 'before' getting in our pool? Am I understanding your question correctly?
If that is what you mean then the answer would be no. We would take a full shower after we swam to clean the Chlorine off of our hair and body. However, to keep the Chlorine from soaking into our hair I have now found out that soaking our hair first stops that from happening. So, we will have a spray bottle of purified water outside by the pool this season to soak our hair and I am so glad I found this info!!!
Hope that made sense. If not let me know.
@@melissaluvsplease1664 I always take a small shower before entering the family pool as so does everyone I know. We have an outside shower for this purpose and that is to avoid an ultra chlorinated pool and keep it at a minimum. Didn't know it wasn't common practise elsewhere. It's a 20.000 gallons one.
I have thin wavy hair and an oily scalp but oiling before washing my hair makes them absolutely beautiful and shiny - they look very healthy too!
If you have fine thin hair do the opposite 😅 oil will weigh my hair down and I use clarifying shampoo every time I wash to remove dry shampoo. I also live somewhere with extremely soft water, if I had hard water I would probably not use that shampoo/use conditioner
True. Using oil on the roots of fine hair ia terrible. It can even cause hair loss because it can clog pores
@@00Mali00true, i get really bad ingrown hairs on the nape of my neck when i oil my hair
@@00Mali00 I do personally, it's my routine and I never had issues. I have fine hair, now it's waist length from oiling and just by taking care of it. Oiling is amazing for most people.

She did say to use a clarifying shampoo twice a month. That comes out to, ohhh, every 2 weeks or so? Basically you’re just repeating what she said.
So whats a good clarifying shampoo?

Cold showers are significantly better for you than hot showers. I know cold showers aren’t popular but your skin will thank you.
funny enough my skin gets better with hot water
@@Jennifahh it feels like it gets better but it takes off that layer of oils you need to keep your skin hydrated
True I always have to rinse with some cold water after hot showers cause my skin feels so dry
@@JennifahhThat's because the hot water is used on your skin, though with hair, it's better to use lukewarm- to cool water, since hair is a protein fiber much like silk. Hot water can damage hair. So hot water for skin, cooler for the hair.
Yaaay I do all these things, since ages.... my hair still sucks though.
The Blowout Professor on YT has really good tips.
is it bleached or colored?
Treating hair from outside isn't always enough. diet, environment etc matters too.
Same! 😅
Maybe it genetics
But still, try a good diet for hair health and apply oil and shampoos that suits your hair.
If you have hard water, avoid oils until you get a shower filter or chelating shampoos (Ouai detox is one). Hot water + oil becomes wax. It will buildup as white wax on your scalp and cannot be washed away with water and shampoo.
How would you remove it?
@@Cindy99765 You wash your hair with a chelating shampoo and/or sulfate clarifying shampoo to remove the wax buildup. Ouai detox, for example, is both clarifying and chelating.
Hot water does not turn oil into wax. And if it did, filtering the water wouldn't prevent it. Hard water IS bad for your hair, but it doesn't make oil become wax.
I always feel conditioner makes my hair fall as soon as I apply it
Me tooooooo!!!!! Yes!! 😵💫😭😭😭
Maybe because you have damaged hair keep applying regularly it will reduce
Yesss sem😭
Try rice water so after you oil your hair you can rinse it with rice water because some people said you dont need to de-tangle because it does itself maybe that'll make you feel better about the hair falls..there are many videos for this
okay so the average person loses between 100-200 strands of hair a day. no you can’t prevent this, it’s just how a hair strand’s life cycle works.
your conditioner doesn’t cause your hair fall, shampooing works these dead hairs free and conditioner gives them enough slip to fall out of your hair. whether you wash your hair or not, those hairs will still fall out every day
I have been told by hairdressers to
1. Only apply shampoo up to a a few inches from your roots depending on your hair length. This is because the contents of shampoos can strip nutrients from your hair & your mid length to ends are older & can be more brittle. The shampoo you apply will clean the rest of your hair as you rinse it out with warm water.
2. Towel dry your hair (gently) between shampooing & conditioning your hair. This means your conditioner is not being diluted by excess water & having to use more conditioner. It is also nourishing your hair.
3. Depending on hair length, only condition the ends of your hair up to 2/3’s your hair length if it’s very long.
I find combing or brushing my hair before washing it & applying shampoo gently, reduces the odds of knitting. Take a microfibre cloth to towel dry between shampoo & conditioner stages. And as you rinse your conditioner out, gently run your fingers down the length of your hair to keep hair straight & reduces knitting. And gently squeeze your hair with a towel to remove water after. If you have curly hair or hair that is naturally wavy, I have found finishing off with a microfibre towel & gently scrunching hair ends dry.
And if adding any mouse, I scrunch again to remove excess. So far this has improved my hair health a lot.
And sleeping on a silk or satin pillow case is meant to be great for your hair.
Also use a baby's flannel/flannelette cot sheet instead of a towel, much kinder to your hair.
Agreed and if you do use a towel, at least a microfiber one.

If you already have dandruff, don’t oil your scalp. I stopped doing that, and my dandruff reduced. But if you don’t have it, hair oiling does wonders
Why is oiling not good if we have dandruff?
@@queengurl7659 oily scalp feeds the yeast that causes dandruff. If yeast is the cause of your dandruff And then you oil your scalp to make it better, it will just increase the problem. It took me the hard way to learn this. Better to use ketoconazole shampoo. It helped me reduce my dandruff problem. 😇
@@tanatom11 ohhhh got it, thanks a lot
@@queengurl7659Just don't put conditioner directly on the scalp itself. The same with pre- poo oils, unless it's specifically to grow hair, those oils are different. Hemp seed oil sounds interesting to make hair shiny. Never oil the scalp with that, leave an inch un- oiled if you pre- poo before washing hair.
Prepoo-ing is a game changer. Diy hair oils mixed with fresh or dried herbs and/or essential oils, aloe vera gel/water, coconut milk with avocado, bananas. Let it sit overnight for optimal results but 10-15 prior is great as well.

Thank the natural hair community for these tips
Its just common sense
Just always ALWAYS put amount shampoo needed in a small bowl and mix it with lukewarm water. Always finish everything with one last cold water rinse.Scalp& body.
Try out if mixing shampoo and conditioner together works with your hair, lather in, wash your body and go back to softly attentionly rinsing your hair. Haircare changes over the years as body evolves.
these are blanket statements that dont work for everyone. i use clarifying shampoo on my hair every day, and it’s always silky smooth. if i use some fancy shampoo without sulfates, my hair doesn’t get clean. the fear mongering with hair and skincare is annoying

@@VintageMemory im not going to spend an excessive amount of money on a shampoo just to have to wash my hair multiple times for it to work, and use up even more product than I usually would. the cheap one i use works just fine with little effort
I have extremely oily skin and over production of sebum, so won't be adding more oil 😅
Sometimes oily skin just needs more moisture
(My skin gets oily too)
I read that murumuru oil is even better than coconut oil for oiling hair,as a pre- poo. For some reason, doctors don't bother to treat the causes of overproduction of sebum, which is a real problem that can ruin a person's appearance. It's not normal for skin and hair to be that way, because it's basically hormonal, even if that's genetic. Lots of genetic diseases get treated, and this should be the case with sebum problems. It needs both internal and external treatment. It's amazing how most doctors don't know or care about this dilemma ! As long as no oil is applied to your scalp itself, you can use a pre- poo for your hair. There are many videos about this. Some use a hair mask that's creamy, some just use a hot oil treatment before shampooing. Using a blend of castor oil, rosemary oil, olive oil to grow hair faster is often used for that once or twice a week. Some leave it on overnight, then wash it out. Others leave the oil on for an hour or two, then wash it out. It's always good to wash one's hair at least every three or four days, since doing it more could make the scalp produce more sebum,if done every day. People have to try different methods,to find the regimen that works for them. Everyone who has overproduction of sebum needs to find a doctor who's willing to look into the causes, and treat that.
Your Skin looks UNREAAAAAL!!!! Wooow!
"...wish I knew in my 20s"....girl are you in your thirties then?! You look so young ❤

Oh that's so true!! I got a hair clarifying shampoo to remove chlorine as I'm swimming daily, so I used it daily!! suddenly it just shrivelled up like a very over permed hair!!!! I've had to cut all my hair off as it totally killed every strand!!!!!
I’m a competitive swimmer with wavy curly ish hair and I maintained my pattern and prevented swimmers green on my blonde hair by using a leave in conditioner spray before and after swimming, particularly one with non-water-soluble silicones. My hair usually hates silicones, but this is the only time I allow myself to use it, and this is because if followed up after washing like the comment above, it also seals in that water and repels the chlorinated water around it. The kind I use is Ion Swimmer’s leave-in conditioner and I get mine at Sally Beauty, pretty affordable and actually works
As an Indian, oiling is something we are taught since childhood and as adults its part of our routine.
American "Indians" too. Jojoba for desert tribes, not sure what kinds for others. My hair loves jojoba. It's really a wax, not an oil. I have curly hair (from my British relatives) and oiling is essential.

Her skin is gorgeous
I only use detox shampoo 2× week. (I never use stuff in my hair ever like hairspray etc) but use rosemary water morning/evening and different oils a couple hours before shower 1 time / week.
Agree except squishing is not the only way.. I prefer gently massaging the conditioner into the hair for a minute and then leaving it on for a few minutes before rinsing out.. this works better
Personally don't need to pre oil my hair 😂
FR mine comes with its own preoiling
Love this. AMEN. Finally some real hair advice. And actually some I didn’t know. 👏👏
some hair care tips (dry thick curly hair so remember it would vary depending on hair texture)
brush when you have conditioner in and after you’ve applied mousse/gel/curl cream
use shampoo and conditioner twice in the shower
coconut oil helps get your hair thicker
finger coil parts of your hair that are straighter than the rest
don’t touch your hair too much when drying
Sorry this is some misinformation in this video....From Hair Care experts they say only use hair oil after washing your hair not right before you wash it as there is not enough time for the products to actually do anything at all. There is no need to oil or dirty your hair before washing. If its not oily enough or dirty enough its not time to wash your hair yet. I follow some great hair care professionals who have actually done their own research as well as learned. Careful where you get your information from people 😘 and remember lots of views or likes does not make the information true 😉
It’s literally just a haircare pre-(sham)poo oil treatment. It just helps hydrate the hair before the excessive shampoo & washing process (which we tend to already shed a lot of hair to begin with) & promotes hair growth, softness & shine. Also helps disentangle, for those of us commonly with textured hair patterns. Though it can help anyone with dry hair too.
It’s also done on hair that’s already in need of a wash, for better absorption; it’s a treatment. Then gets washed off/clarified for better results. ♥️ It’s not common in Asian cultures I feel but it is very common on very curly or wavy hair typings, respectfully!
this does work though? you use different types of oil for after and before.
We Indians have been oiling hair before hair wash and definitely that is an amazing method to protect hair 😍 🙌
Putting conditioner and then detangling is good. I feel like scrunching your hair will break it. It’s well known in the curly hair part of the internet that excessive scrunching is bad for hair
Gently working the hair like that won't harm it. In many salon treatments we gently work the product into the hair and there's no issue unless your excessively forceful. That being said, for normal conditioner there's also no need to work it in.
YOURE NOT IN YOUR TWENTIES??! You look so young and healthy!❤
Preoil before washing is wasting oil and shampoo.
These tips work if you have Asian thick hair. They look so gorgeous. I always admire it.
If you have another type of hair, you need another tips.
All these tips definitely don't work on my thin nothen hair😢
Well if you have oily sculp you don't need to extra oil it before shampooing 💁♀️
Actually the purpose of oiling you hair is to massage your scalp so that blood circulation increases , which leads to healthy hair. I hope i am correct in explaining the scientific reason.
It doesn't work that way... It's the same argument when people say that people who have only skin (on face) don't need to moisturize their skin.. Which only makes it worse. You'd still need to moisturize your skin, only use a ligh moisturizer which does not feel too heavy on skin. Same with hair.
@@EXOistheStandard Idk about that. Never oiled my hair in my life as someone with oily scalp. My hair is pretty fine because I just skip washes. I find out that oiling is something that my scalp hates. Not even gonna mention how it breaks out my scalp 😂
@@tkraid2575 oh i don't know much about western people ( i guess you as one cuz most of them mention about breaking down) but in many video people shared that coconut is heavy for you, so they used light oils, i guess jojoba oil works good. You may try if you wish.

Which hair oil do you use?
I use a natural lemon clarifying shampoo and wash my hair once a week and it’s the best it’s ever been for the last year or so.
I’ve read the best way to apply conditioner is to hair that’s had the water squeezed out.
Before you're using it to treat dandruff. Make sure you see a doctor to see id uts dandruff caused by dry skin. Or if its dandruff caused by an actual condition like Seborrheic dermatitis.
Its a type of eczema that is exasperated by oily skin. Adding more oil won't help. Since part of the problem is a skin yeast that feeds off of oil.
Do you have tips for oily hair? :( I get greasy so fast that sometimes it only takes hours
i started using detox shampoos, they're kinda nice, find ones that don't have silicone or sulfate in them i hope you can afford them shit's getting really expensive, also REALLY use rosemary water and occasional a combo of oils that does have rosemary oil in it,sometimes pharmacy shampoos are the greatest for this condition too
try Neutrogena t Sal or t gel shampoo
its not about your hair its about your body’s oil production, from the scalp. special shampoos and whatnot arent going to help so dont waste your money, if anything see a dermatologist
Get the shampoo on the scalp. Clean the scalp and work down the shaft.
Clarifying shampoo, but only to be used on the scalp. Shampoo hair twice: first wash to get off product and second one to properly clean your scalp.
And really get get into your hair on yourscalp with your fingertips scrubbing as you do with your skin.
No conditioner, oil or mask on the roots
What worked for me is in a cup take coconut oil 2 tbsp 1 tbsp almond oil 1 capsule of vitamin e oil and 3-4 drops of rosemary oil.
Brush your hair really well.
Place the cup on a large bowl of hot water
Let the cup and oils get warm and combine well.. V-E is sticky tbh..
Apply them first on the scalp next in the ends. Do this at 9 am
Shower at 1 pm..
Choosing the right shampoo is a big deal.. ngl always dilute the shampoo in a glass of water😂😂.. and then double cleanse.. shampoo twice ❤❤ last pour rice water..
No conditioner.. then air dry
Serum on the scalp.. ❤❤scalp serums..
When u clean the scalp and apply serum it makes a lot of difference
Wow who has the time and energy for this
i mean i do this cause i don’t wash my hair daily
Put leave in oil after leave in conditioner... the blowout professor... Has made a massive difference to my dry curly hair 😊
I use natural things on my hair and they are healthy and shiny. Such as coconut oil, aloe Vera, curd banana hair pack, curd lemon hair pack and more. Best feeling.
Oiling my hair actually makes me wash it MORE than necessary. I find not oiling, washing once and not applying shampoo to the whole length is better.
I never use clarifying shampoo - whether you need it depends in what products you use, and most people don't need it unless they use wax or a lot of hair spray.
If I applied my conditoner that close to my scalp, my hair would always be completely flat.
How to identify if a shampoo is a clarifying shampoo (in case it's not written in the bottle), like the ingredients in the shampoo she mentioned?
sulfates
Vinegar
Salicylic acid
And my axe!
Clarifying shampoo should only be used to remove extra buildup or chemicals from your hair.
I don't need more oil 😩 question, does it help to add those "good" oils even though my goal is to wash out dead skin and sebum from my scalp? My roots get oily and I like them to look fresh. I have fine hair so any kind of leave in conditioner or oils in my hair is very noticeable and makes it look wet or greasy.
So I have oily hair and this is what I learned so far ❤️ for oily hsir you need light oils and you need to wash off your hair 1-2hours after oiling or less. Cause we already have too much sebum. When you wash your hair you need to at least wash it 2 times and water it well.
use a soft brush to get rid of the excessive dandruff :,) sadly at first the dandruff is going to double or triple 😅 cause you’re literally taking it off your scalp ghen it’s going to get better.
Oiling pre shower just makes you use more shampoo to get the oil out and wash more frequently. Better for your hair to clean thoroughly and go longer between washes.
And four: don’t rinse your hair flat on your back. Flip it upside down so there is no film or residue left on your body.
I've never heard the conditioner one before, that's awesome!!!
Can hair oiling help before swimming? I’m looking for some ways to help protect my hair from the pool chemicals.
Yes, it does!
you should wet your hair before going into the pool, so your hair dont absorb the pool water.
When I go to the sea in summer, I always coat my hear with shea butter and it works wonders. I went to the seaside for two summers in a row and I was able to grow waist-length hair and donante it in the end.
@@lacasalingadimoabit2317 thank you for sharing! I’m going to try Shea butter whilst on holiday!
Frst massage scalp then brush well, then anything mask type cover scalps n hair whole.. mayo to thick rich somthing any hair mouse..then hav a shower cap.. if it helps. N one hour later take shower properly after coming frm pool n frst clean body+hair wth good water source multiple times then clean whole body then hair wth mild soaps/items n same mild natural cleaner fr hair also.
Remember all but the Rose Warehouse one! 🤣 I seem to have had a lot of time on my hands. ❤️🤣
Which kind of oil we can use before washing?
Rosemary, almond, argan, jojoba are the best
Your jawline is incredible
What's the products?
If you have dandruff or an oily scalp oil doesn't work at all!!!!.....I have been using this trick for 2 months and ended up with hell of dandruffs and lot of hair fallen already. I switched to washing my hair with gentle shampoo once in every three days with conditioner. And I use shampoo especially formulated for dandruff once in a week again with conditioner must for hair length to not get dried up since I quit applying oil. Now my hair are perfectly fine and dandruff has reduced a lot. But it will still take time to clear up completely. Your hair will already produce oil so don't bother about your scalp getting dried up but since we are washing our head in once in every 3 days we need to moisturize our hair length otherwise you'll end up with frizzy hair So for that a conditioner works absolutely fine.
what products do you use for your hair ? I am suffering from hairlost :(
Talk to your doctor and get your hormones checked. It could be traction alopecia from wearing hair up and tightly, or another form. It's good to get it sorted since it is a medical condition, and particularly for women under a certain age, it could lead to loss of all hair, or indicate another medical problem. Good luck!
It’s definitely a personal journey. It took a long time for me to figure out what works for me. Even then, sometimes I’m still puzzled.
conditioner scrunching is great, i have 0 split ends bc it keeps my ends soft and healthy
i’ve done all of these since childhood 😭
Please don't put oil on your hair , water hydrates the hair. Oil blocks water
So many differing opinions here! Oil blocks water/oil hydrates. Scrunching is bad, blah blah, what determines if your hair is “beautiful “or not is genetic, no matter what you do to it 🤷🏻♀️
Not to oil hair when it's unclean dirty greesy wth unhealthy scalp. Frst clean hair wth clean water properly then wash hair wth shampoo properly..then dry hair properly n oil hair. Later nver let hair b dirty enough. Excessive using oil fr hair is bad n causes issues as attract dirts more easily making greesy dirty most n scalp health get so bad ..so nver let sit oil in scalp much n nver use Excessive oil
@@TinTin-ir8wx adding oil to clean hair just coats the hair and is difficult to wash off depending on your surface texture it won't wash off at all.... listen to licensed professionals like black girl curls please
@Karina Lemus not true after I stopped using products heavy in oils and raw oils my curls look amazing and are easily defined..
@@libfuzzy4629i’m not black but i do have curly hair (this still differs though so please correct me on stuff you think wouldn’t work for you). but oiling isn’t normally what defines my curls. normally curl products help more
I cant agree more on the squish part. Only one time i did last week.. its super working.. though being Indian oiling has been a regular part of life😊
All hair is not the same! Look for tips for your hair type!
Yes exactly, this nonsense to do with limiting clarifying shampoos doesn't work with people who have fine/oily hair and scalps.
the last one!! tysm!!!
Putting oil in hair before wash is a good thing but by the time I wash my hair it's already oily enough on my scalp but I'm going to try putting it on the ends of my hair next time!
Thanks for the last tip!! amazing 👏
I’ve been looking for a good hair oil for a long time! Any suggestions?
Candlenut (ugh this smells bad lol but mix with other oils) / castor / coconut / neem / olive / argan / peppermint / lavendar / rosemary / jojoba / grapeseed / pumpkin seed / tea tree / sesame seed / almond / lavender / rosehip / vit e / avocado / sunflower seed / hemp
Other than oils = shea, aloe vera, omega3, ginger, biotin, rose water
I edited it, added more cuz i searched
Dont forget to research if these are safe enough for you to use
Some could be comedogenic so wash your face properly too
Use carrier oil for oils like peppermint or lavender
@@exp-io853 thank you so much 💛
Use pure coconut oil after heating it
I think coconut oil should be used by people who have ridiculous damage to their hair. If your hair is virgin which is never dyed, such with oils that bring moisture to your hair. Like sweet almond oil, avocado oil.
@@HaHa-lx9yo oh wait yeah forgot about those two,,thank you for the explanation by the way. I think i need to search what oil works best for what type of hair
Thanks for the videos! 🤗👍 Awww, the brotherly bond between Mammon and Lucifer is so sweet (even if Mammon doesn’t remember the half of what Lucifer said, lol)! 😊❤️ I love Mammon so much. But, ohhh, now it’s time for Asmo’s spotlight! (Time to get a pact with him as well, hehe!)
Take care of your hair before you hit your menopause 🥰🥰
I never feel like pre-oiling so I coat the mid to ends with cheap conditioner, shampoo mostly the scalp, let it all run down, then condition as normal. My hair is hip length and healthy despite curls and a tendency to tangle. I do recommend oiling if you're inclined and not as lazy about hair as I am. It does work.
Oil beforehand is soo dumb
If you have fine-stranded wavy/curly hair and notice your hair looks weighed down you may want to try using clarifying shampoo frequently and just have a very good leave in conditioner like a heavy one that you dont wash out... using oil treatments is also great but if youre doing that i would highly recommend you clarify much more frequently if you dont want your curls to be limp
Or get a better shampoo if it's damaging your hair instead of putting oil on your hair just to wash it off and make it harder to wash? :P
No pay attention to the video.
In India you oil your hair everyday. We get bullied sometimes cuz of oiling our hair everyday, this kind of case is common but the bullying is not extreme.
But eventually now everyone oils there hair to take care of themselves. Wish just positivity was there in the past.
Girl! What is that mark/scar on back of your neck? Please get it checked. Ppl please comment or like this comment so it reaches her..
It looks like a birth mark an she probs knows it there…
Well oiling can also be bad for your hair which leads to hair damage and your hair can start to fall out
I often get compliments on my hair and all I do is wash my scalp with shampoo twice and condition the mid and ends of my hair.
Ooooh love 1 and 3, although the thought of adding oil to my hair makes me cringe 😬
I thought that too, but I’ve started using hemp seed oil and my shine is unreal!
@@picticiousd4853 really? Wow! My hair gets oily enough on its own 😅
@@therealmissglamBAM same, I have really fine hair, the longest I can go between washes is two or three days, I just thought I was gonna be a greasy mess, but my hair loves it!
Honestly give it a go :)
@@therealmissglamBAMAs long as the scalp doesn't have oil applied to it, the hair itself will be fine. There's also using certain oils to just stimulate hair growth, and that's different than just a pre-poo.
If you have fine hair, jist use oil on the tips, never the roots
SWANA girls have been doing the first one for centuries lol so it is funny seeing people discovering it now😊

I have thin wavy/curly hair (type 2a) and very delicate skin. Conditioners don't work for me, they make my hair flat.
I use a very mild shampoo with pH 5.5 and after washing apply some golden millet oil to the hair before drying it.
Damm. I have baby fine type 1 hair and I NEED conditioner. My hair feels like straw without it, even before I started dying it.
Are you leaving the conditioner on your hair without rinsing it out? Is it a heavy, oil based conditioner? Either of these could be the reason conditioner causes your hair to fall flat.
@@lewzgirl1969 no to both.
i don’t know how type 2a would work (2c to 3b) what type of conditioner do you use though? you could try one for wavy hair if needed
